I have been using white dinner set for years and decided to bring some colours to the dining table and purchased this set online. I wasn’t sure of the colour as it’s hard to tell when you shop online but oh my, I was really impressed and glad I made the purchase. I just love the blue colour and the glaze of each piece is slightly different which makes it more special. I’m also very happy with the size and weight of this set. Been using for over a month now on a daily basis and no issues with colour fading so far.

Lovely glazed appearance. Quite light for stoneware, I was surprised at how light the plates are, especially as they are quite large. This is the reason I often steer away from stoneware plates as they are often too heavy. But these aren't. Love that I can buy cereal sized bowls seperately to add to the set. Hopefully they sell them for a while so if any break, I can replace plates etc. Highly recommend.

I love this dinner set and use it as our everyday set. The colour is lovely, and although the finishes are all slightly different this is not a problem for me. I love the glaze. I like that they are heavy enough to feel good quality but not so heavy that they’re too much to pick up/store. I bought matching cereal bowls, which are great too. Great value when bought in sale.

It's a lovely dinner set but oversized.The dinner plates don't fit in our very standard dishwasher. The side plates are almost the size of our previous dinner plates.I ended up putting the dinner plates away to use as platters - not that we needed more platters - and just use the side plates as dinner plates. I also went and bought smaller bowls separately. They're available it's just that giant bowls come in the set.Overall it was a waste to buy the set and I should have bought the smaller items I needed seperately although I'm happy with the appearance and quality.
The Relic 12 piece dinner set is lovely. I bought 3 sets. Each set was not from the same batch, & had slightly differing colouring. Some more grey, some more pink & some more blue. I love the lack of consistency. They fit in my dishwasher.
This is a lovely dinner set. I bought it form my grandson as he has just moved to his own house. This is very stylish and will suit any style of decor. It comes in 3 colours but I chose the blue grey as it is not just the common coloured dinner sets that everyone has. It has a little bit of weight to it not to light and super easy to clean. The plates do not stain either. It has a slate stone look about it. Have just ordered 2 more sets for my son. Definitely recommend this dinner set in any colour.
I’m very pleased with this dinner set. The sales woman who helped me in the store had assured me that all the pieces would match if she ordered them from the one warehouse & they do. I bought two sets. I decided to go in to the store to see them after reading reviews which said the pieces in the boxes they’d ordered on line didn’t match. I’ve also returned to the store since to buy some of the smaller bowls - which also match. I like the colour as it’s subtle & food of all colours looks good on/in it.
I have been searching for stoneware dinner set for awhile and finally decided on the Relic dinnerware which I ordered three dinner sets from Myer.I absolutely LOVE the style and blueish colour is simply gorgeous. Wow!! I finally found the perfect dinnerware.UNTIL, I put the dinnerware in the dishwasher for the initial wash and to my displeasure, all the dinner plates faded along with 4 or 5 bread plates. That lovely blue speckle pattern seemed to have just washed away. Not sure if the reactive glaze has sealed properly.I was extremely disappointed. Lovely set. I haven't had a chance to use the new set yet, but have unpacked it from the box. The colour is more blue and less grey than in the picture. Glossy finish with a rustic type look- what you would expect from reactive glazing. I was concerned initially when viewing online that the bowls would not be deep enough, but they are a great size. Looking forward to using it.
Lovely everyday dinnerware!Great design, large size.I am so happy we decided to purchase this set.They are more grey-blue in colour than I thought, we bought online, we didn’t see in store, as our local store was sold out.I imagined they were more cream.We also purchased the large round platter, the large rectangle platter and the 6 piece cereal bowls.I am so happy with the set; they are lovely.
