It's almost as if the scent becomes more pronounced the more I sweat. Salt & Stone promises 24 hour odor protection, and they aren't lying. My pits remained stink free for 24 hours: no reapplication (and I even did a sweaty cardio workout the next morning - they were still smelling great). I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I still find myself frequently smelling my pits... they smell so good!Secondly, no rash! This stuff glides on (once it warms from skin contact), it doesn't irritate my skin, and it stays smelling amazing for 24 hours. I'm seriously tempted to apply it all over my body (but this stuff is gold... I'm going to get as much use out of it as I can). I've also noticed that I don't feel as sweaty as I normally do in the early evening each day.It IS about $8 more expensive than my last deodorant, but I don't need to use as much of it. My last deodorant would last about a month, and I'm confident that Salt & Stone's will last twice as long, because I don't need to reapply it. I use it once a day, and that's all that I need. Though it is pricey, I do feel that I am getting my money's worth - and I'm hopeful it will end up SAVING me some money because I use it so infrequently.Ultimately, I am so glad my last deodorant brand discontinued my favorite scent because it forced me to upgrade tenfold! I’ve tried Native, Dr. Teal’s, Lume, Ivory, Arm & Hammer, and Dr. Squatch and none of them were working (to be fair, Dr. Squatch worked but it left an oil stain on my clothes). I loved the two scents that WERE NOT santal and vetiver. That one literally made one want to puke. I got the travel sizes of all 3 and fell in love with the other scents. The neroli one is very citrus and fresh, leans more feminine to me. The one with basil is soooo fresh and clean. Could def smell more on the masculine side but it mixes perfectly with my sweet floral perfumes and smells like I'm fresh out of the shower! I would highly recommend if you have tried other natural deodorants and found them not to work. This one works well for me despite having very sensitive skin! If you work out hard or are doing long hours of labour work, I may suggest the extra strengh deodorant in your fav scent. I have the santal scent and I have never had any luck with natural deodorants. They all either ended up failing as far as stickiness, longevity, and covering odor. I will admit it took me a couple of days for my body to acclimate from going from a man’s antiperspirant (I am a woman but have always used men’s deodorant) but I have had no issue since! I have been wearing it every day for a little over 2 months straight. At first it feels a little wetter than you’re probably used to but that fades within about 5-10 minutes and you don’t have that problem after that. I will admit it took me a couple of days for my body to acclimate from going from a man’s antiperspirant (I am a woman but have always used men’s deodorant) but I have had no issue since! I have been wearing it every day for a little over 2 months straight. At first it feels a little wetter than you’re probably used to but that fades within about 5-10 minutes and you don’t have that problem after that. I live in Michigan and we have EVERY type of weather you can imagine and I started using this during our hottest month in August and it worked beautifully. It also stood up to anxious sweats, breastfeeding sweats, and caffeine sweats (sometimes caffeine makes my underarms perspire) and again, this worked under all kinds of perspiration. I was honestly shocked!! I am extremely self conscious about how I smell and making sure I smell good and sometimes I just cannot help my underarms but with this deodorant I truly smell SO GOOD! My only complaints are two things: 1) price point is just way too high and 2) the stick only lasted me a little over two months. I use it after the shower every night and once in the morning and occasionally in the evening if I’m going out with my husband or friends to freshen up. For me I was wanting to switch to a safer alternative that worked and I got just that. I breastfeed do anything going on my skin I want to be as safe as possible. Also, the smell is heavenly. I sniff my pits so much! Lol
i used native and tom's deodorant for years and i had no idea natural deodorant could be this good. the smells would fade by late afternoon/early evening, but with this deodorant, i can literally smell my pits the next morning and it still smells nice with NO hint of B.O. i'm so serious it's wild.also i've tried other natural deodorants that just give me a horrible rash. this stuff has not given me any rash or any other negative side effects.also even through hot yoga this stuff hangs on. idk how they do it. even after 24+ hours of wearing it, the fragrance might fade a TINY bit but i never smell like B.O. ever like i swear it rebalanced my armpit ph or something lol.the smell is great. i have the santal/vetiver and the neroli/shiso, my favorite is the ...
