I liked the look of these scales and they didnt disappoint. Good quality and no batterys to worry about. Im sure they will last for years. They arrived on time and were well packed. A good buy and would recommend.

I would not say that it is better than expected, after all it is of Salter manufacture a long established manufacturer of weighing devices of all types. The reason I have given it four instead of five stars is because it has hard feet and our bathroom floor has hard tiles and it tended to slide around resulting in me having to glue some thin sheet rubber to the feet to rectify this. It does have a large dial which is easy to read and as I say being a Salter it should last a long time. I did notice, in common with most goods these days it was manufactured in China though.
After several all singing all dancing electronic sets of bathroom scales that not only became temperamental but as the battery faded wildly inaccurate I decided to go back to mechanical bathroom scales. These Salter Black Mechanical Bathroom Scales are not only accurate, sturdy they look wonderful. They would fit into both a modern and retro style bathroom. The only slight problem is I have to put my glasses on to read the weight if I want to be exact, as the numbers are a little small, but that is a small price to pay for such a wonderful product.
Ordered these blinds on the 18th June estimated delivery was the 25th of July but the arrived early on the 8th July. These are very stylish and give my home a modern feel which is great. The only negative is that while the brackets are included screws and wall plugs are not, so had to go and buy these to be able to put them up. For the price of these blinds I would have thought they would have been included. I would recommend these blinds but beware you will need the screws and wall plugs! I bought three blinds for the front of my home and my partner installed these with ease, but is very competent are diy.
Good, clear readings. Simple use. Simple to store anywhere. Great for quick weight checks if following a programme. Would recommend.
I have used Salter scales for many years and these are of the usual high quality. Sturdy, with a nice ribbed rubber platform to stand on and a clear, easy-to-read dial. Best of all, no batteries!!
After unpacking and trying to set up, found that the adjustment wheel is far to sensitive, and every time you get no them they read different. So I wouldn't recommend these if you need accurate weighing, only good as a rough guide (within 3 or 4 lbs either way)
Pro- fit feet on the scale fully, nice appearanceCon- don’t record weight accurately- any slight movement forwards or backwards while on them (including to read the weight!) made the dial move up or down by several pounds, even when used on a hard surface. Really disappointing. Had to order a different set the same day from alternative supplier for similar price that work properlyNb review for product only- company was quick to process and deliver the order though so no complaints with them!
