Great tasting, but prefer other flavours in the range. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the flavour of these bars. They are sweet with a vanilla-y taste. I am not sure about
the marketing as a protein bar - I wouldn't buy them for that reason. They are a sweet nut bar - good for when the afternoon sweet craving hits. I do rate the Sam's bars
overall - we usually buy the honey salted macadamia and the choc hazelnut varieties (recommend!). They are cost effective compared to other brands, coming in cheaper by
unit price. These particular bars only use 19% Australian ingredients.

Nice and crunchy but very sweet. My husband and I share a protein bar post run so I was really keen to try these. They had a good crunch and I liked how much nuts and
seeds were in them. I found them a bit too sweet for me (hubby not so much) and they had a very high sugar content. For that reason alone I wouldn’t buy them again. I did
notice some other flavours on the shelf so I’ll look at those and compare. Made in Australia which is great but only 19% Australian ingredients. I gave a bar to my friend for
her young nephew to try. His review ‘oh yummy!’ So I’m guessing for those with a sweet tooth they get a tick.

Very sweet. The packaging is pretty and easy to find. I’ve only had two bars and my pack seems to have a very thick coating of white chocolate. The bars did not resemble the
image on the packaging, which show the sprinkles under a thin layer of white chocolate. The sprinkles were there, just not visible at all on my bars. The bars were chewy and
had a generous amount of nuts and seeds mixed through the soy protein crisps. The taste and texture, sorry Sam’s Pantry, was similar to a mars bar slice with nuts and seeds.
I did enjoy the bar, only half at a time, and my opinion of it being very sweet is because I prefer dark chocolate and don’t buy white chocolate. I’m thinking of bu... Show more

Incredibly sweet. Normally $5. 50 per pack of 5 ($1. 10 each) but currently on sale for $4. 50 (90c each)Easily found with other snack bars but these were on the bottom shelfI do like the colouring of the box - it's pretty and different and I love that each bar is individually wrappedThe bars themselves are covered in a thin layer of white chocolate and the sprinkles can be seen through this layer. We found them incredibly sweet - I couldn't even finish it. They even smelled sickly sweet coming out of their packet I didn't find them any nuttier than other bars but I did think that they had an artificial flavour. I'm not sure how they can be touted as healthy when the sugar content is so high. Maybe if they were covered with yoghurt ....... Would we buy them again - ... MoreIncredibly sweet. Very tasty, would purchase again. We weren't sure what to expect when we picked these up when we noticed they were protein bars but it got a thumbs up from my husband, son and myself. It was a great mixture of almonds and peanuts as well as sunflower seeds and sprinkles and was the perfect finish of white chocolate on the outside. We did find it abit sweet but the taste was great and it left a nice taste in your mouth. Texture was great and wasn't at all hard or chewy. Size of the bar was perfect for a quick snack on the go. Easy to find on the shelves and the packaging is easy to notice. Great that it is proudly Australian made and that it contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Awfully sweet. Wow, I don't recall having a sweeter muesli bar than this. Can't really call it a Protein Bar because you tend to associate Protein Bars with health, this was in the muesli bar section and therefore exactly that, a very sweet muesli bar with higher protein than the others on the shelf. Now for comparison to the sweetness, its double and a bit sugar content to that of an LCM = DOUBLE + Its double the amount of calories to an LCM as well, so definitely not healthy and the protein content probably disappears at this point. It's Australian Made with 19% Australian Ingredients?? Could do/be better here. States its packed with nuts & seeds but I can't really taste them with all the white chocolate, condensed milk and rice puffs in it. Thanks for the trail ... MoreAwfully sweet. Great protein bar. Always nice to see the product is Australian made along with being gluten free. The first few bites of the bar did seem like it was a ‘rice krispy’ bar rather than being ‘packed with nuts and seeds’ however upon looking at the bar and a few more bites, I could see and taste the nuts and seeds. The white chocolate didn’t cover the whole bar, just the top, ends and sides. Whilst ultimately I don’t believe it impacted the taste, I love white chocolate so it would have been nice for the bar to be fully covered! The product wasn’t overly sweet however satisfied my morning craving (I have a sweet tooth) - felt like I had a ‘treat’ without the sugar and with 9g of protein per bar, kept me satisfied until lunch. I’m unsure why there are not 6 bars in the pack rather than 5. There is more than enough space in the box to include another bar. There is also a lot of space down the side of the box where the packaging could be reduced to save waste. I love the ‘birthday cake’ theme with the sprinkles which gave it a slight added crunch. The picture of the bar on the front of the packaging is a true reflection of what the bar looks like. I also like the use of the font and style of the design on the box. I had a little difficulty opening the packaging on the bar. The plastic was quite tough. I have tried lots of protein bars as I am a regular hiker. The price was reasonable for these bars and based on that, the taste and the bars being gluten free I would definitely purchase again and include in my hiking bag!... Show more

Where do I put the candle? Upon opening up one of these birthday cake nut bars, I couldn't escape the sweet smell that did remind me of cake icing. The bar looks just like the picture on the box and it tastes just as sweet as it smells. The icing isn't overly thick, just enough to cover the top and sides (leaving the base uncoated), with slightly thicker areas in the grooves of the nuts. Certified Gluten-free and loved by Mrs Shepherd (who has already chowed down on 2 bars without me noticing). The sugar content is a little high at 8. 8g/serving (38g). I dare say the sweetness is enough to completely mask the fact that you're eating a nut bar. I'm writing this review whilst taking little nibbles of it and I must say, there aren't many crumbs left behind. Made in Aus ... MoreWhere do I put the candle? Surprisingly Nice. These protein bars were easy to find in store with the muesli bars and at $4. 50 for 5 bars I think they're pretty good value for money. I wish they were made with more Australian ingredients (only 19%) but I do like that they have no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. I like that they have 9g of protein in each bar, are 183 calories each and don't contain artificial sugars like other protein bars. I really enjoyed the taste combination of the nuts, seeds, white chocolate and sprinkles. Although I will admit that the bars are just a little too sweet and can have a mildly odd aftertaste. The are a great snack between meals. I actually enjoyed these so much I bought another box as well as another flavour to try out.... Show more

Very nice. My Master 3 grandson absolutely loved these bars. ❤️ I enjoyed as well. Australian made, but there’s only at least 19% Aussie ingredients. Gluten free ✅ Price; $4. 00 for five bars, not too bad. Flavour; Very nice. Texture; Chewy, nutty. The white choc coating tastes nice, but I don’t see the point of sprinkles. Definitely marketed at children. Has a long use by; 07/03/23. Box recycle ♻️ Would I buy? I don’t generally buy muesli bars. Maybe I’ll get some when the grandsons visit again. Thanks for the sample Woolies’s, it was a lovely treat to share.... Show more
