Avoid unless you want your house and skin to smell like kerosene. Get the wax ones instead. No way I would want to use this in a BBQ.
I typically put 5 cubes in the fire pit. One on each corner and one in the middle and use the hotshots kindling form Bunnings as well and never fails to get it going
I wouldn't try building a fire at home without these white firelighters. They are fantastic, they light instantly with a high and long lasting flame which is neccesary to ignite any kindling. This white variety is so much better than the brown natural variety, which I've tried and are holpeless.

These fire starters I prefer over others as it starts my fire instantly compared to thers
Bought these for the first (and last) time. No other firelighters available in town so thought Id give these a go. Mistake. The smell of kerosene these give off is overpowering, leading us to having to store in an airtight container or outside in the garage. Its not like they were cheaper, cost-wise, so the lower quality isnt really weighed off. Another case of "Bunnings, almost what you want....but not quite."
