I'm a total fan of Sambucol. The Sambucol Black Elderberry Kids Advanced Immune Support +Vitamin C is a go-to in my house. My kids love the flavor. I have been taking Sambucol Elderberry for years now so I was glad to let my kid try it. He goes to preschool and I swear there was always a kid coughing and he was always catching something. He actually started using this a couple months ago hoping it would help. I am happy to say we are actually sick less. I add it to my son's cup a little at a time so that he doesn't notice it. He will drink it from the included medicine cup but he prefers it to be hidden. My son doesn't cough nearly as much as he used too and the runny noses have been absent! This provides us with the extra immune support we need! It's natural, gluten free, and includes Vitamin C. I highly recommend it for anyone with school age kids. It has been a huge relief to not be sick every other week!

I don’t really think an elderberry syrup needs some of the other ingredients this brand adds so it isn’t my first or favorite choice. It does work and help. The sugar content doesn’t need to be so high for kids to take it and when sick sugar isn’t something anyone should have. Unfortunately a lot of remedies and medications still put it in there. Glucose syrup also isn’t needed. It would be fine for a syrup to be runnier and to not have that ingredient. My son loves the taste of this. It’s the only syrup he willingly takes. He reminds me every morning. I like the packaging and how easy it is to use. I like the serving size too. The bottle doesn’t disappear quickly. It last for awhile. I feel better sending my son to school using this and his daily vitamins. Just an extra protection. I love that the product is free from artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. I think it’s awesome that it’s gluten free and vegan also. That way everyone can use it. I also like how you have the option for daily use or intensive use if needed. We like to keep ours in the fridge and my son loves it cold. I would definitely recommend.
