Amazingly light compared to the recently retired 15 year old suitcase.Easy to roll, pick up and good zip pockets.BadWhen the suitcase arrived the tags with instructions on how to open the suitcase were inside the bag. Duh. Took ages to google to find the right model of case to find how to open by pushing the key lock. Felt super foolish.

Have had an older version of this 71cm soft case from 7-8yrs ago & it's still in great condition, very little sign of wear & tear.Extremely lightweight & easy to handle.It's very deep & easy to pack, unpack & find things.We bought a couple of bigger (78cm) Samsonite hard cases but find that once expanded the B-lite holds similar capacity. It's also easier to handle, esp for teen kids on long camps & holidays.The only improvement is if the numbers on the combo lock could be bigger & easier to see/ turn. Elderly people (my parents) with aging vision & reduced coordination struggle to see & turn.We have & love 55cm B-lite & am considering buying 78cm, however it would be too easy to over-pack.Would highly recommend.

So far this is a lovely lightweight bag with good wheels and good quality. My only issue is I would prefer a smaller outside and inside pocket on the top. There is only one large pocket inside and out and I would prefer smaller ones so I can fit extra items (and see them — smaller net bag would be helpful instead of a huge one. )
We have always use Samsonite. Our last suitcases are now over 13 years old and we have travelled all around the world using them.So I decided to buy a new and lighter model, and I've only used it twice, the second time when I collected it off the conveyor belt, one side had totally been dented inwards.I sent it back to Samsonite via Myer where I purchased it from, and have just collected it today to find it still the same suitcase. The dent has been pushed out, but is still visible, and I've never been more disappointed now with the Samsonite Brand.
My comments are more in relation to the delivery speed- very fast-The bag itself seems sturdy with 4 wheels- excellent! Top and side handles are incorporated into the construction which suits me as the handle on top of my 1st bag has been repaired and almost immediately broke after the next baggage handling so fingers crossed for this one-it's a light weight bag and I am not sure that the soft covering of the bag is going to survive baggage handling but we shall see. Its got locking mechanism for the zippers- let see how that survives as well- watch this space!
Not the Samsonite toughness I expected - B Lite indeed.First trip using the suitcase and it got slashed (cut through) all down the front section, revealing just how thin the material is. Previous Samsonite suitcases are still going strong material wise, zips too, but a little stiff and thought we’d upgrade. Disappointed. After using once, we don’t believe it’s suitable for long haul travel.Never been a fan of the shell type, hard case. We have always preferred the soft, but this was not the suitcase we thought we were buying. There is only one big pocket on the front, thought there was the usual two - our mistake.Inside is good, expandable, and two separate Samsonite compartments in the “lid” section for separation. This is the best travel suitcase, stylish, super light and easy to manoeuvre around the airport. This is the 3rd one of these we have bought so all have one on our travels. Great and easily accessible compartments to make finding your things easy. A handy little section up the top to store your power pack and charge on the go. Buying Samsonite you know your getting quality.
Oh yes I'm ready to travel with my very own B-lite - Lightest weight spinner! Borrowed my mum's last trip and it was the best; I did a lot of shopping yet managed to stay within my allocated 30kg. The spinner wheels are so easy to manoeuvre and I was able to travel in style!! Thank you SAMSONITE
We are pretty hard on luggage because of two or three international trips per year. This will replace the previous version many years old and still usable. We also have a hard shell version but dislike the clamshell interior. We will use our two soft side Samsonite cases for the foreseeable future.
