Awful Suitcase
Do not bother buying this. We bought 2 of these suitcases are both have been destroyed through regular use. Locks are broken, plastic is smashed, and the bumpers have fallen off leaving us with sharp screw ends sticking out the sides! Your suitcase will fall apart after 5-6 uses as well no doubt. Suitcases should be built to be mishandled by baggage handlers, this one is not.... Show more

Buyer beware!
We'd had our old Samsonite suitcases for about ten years and they were starting to show their age, their fabric sides looking scuffed and frayed, and a couple of holes had started to appear, so it was time to get new ones. We liked the look, size, and weight of these, so bought two in our local John Lewis.Initial impressions were good. They look nice, with ribbed outer surfaces, and are extremely light, and the four wheels make them very manouverable. The cases unzip and open into two halves, the "top" side having fabric cover which zips up to make it self contained, and the "bottom" side has a Y-shaped strap which can be used to secure items. The case can expand a little, and the long zip toggles click into a TSA combination lock on the side.Problems started to ... The cases unzip and open into two halves, the "top" side having fabric cover which zips up to make it self contained, and the "bottom" side has a Y-shaped strap which can be used to secure items. The case can expand a little, and the long zip toggles click into a TSA combination lock on the side.Problems started to arise after our first trip away with the cases. We both thought that the Y-shaped strap inside is a bit of a weird design decision as it only secures items down the middle of the case. Our previous cases had tw V-shaped straps, attached to the corners of the case, which clipped together in the middle forming an X which held things in more securely. This strap means that things down the sides move around a bit.Worse though was that after one flight they came back to us looking badly scufffed, revealing that the outer plastic surface isn't actually very sturdy at all. After the return flight the scuffing was worse, and when we collected the cases after our next trip the toggles on my wife's case were bent (maybe the case caught on something inside the airport baggage area, who knows) and had to be reshaped with pliers. After our next trip the toggles on mine came back bent with one of them snapped, meaning that it can no longer be locked. Yes, we could maybe return the cases to John Lewis, but this is wear and tear, and if the toggles were replaced they'd only get bent again. We thought that the long zip toggles were great at first as they're much easier to grab hold of to fasten and unfasten the cases, but they're actually a really bad design decision by Samsonite. We've now bought two small TSA combination padlocks and will be using those to lock the cases via the loops at the bottom of the zips when we go on our next trip, but needless to say after less than a year we're looking to buy new suitcases again. In short, they look nice, are very light and manoeverable, but they're not very sturdy and the zips are rubbish.... Classy and practical
I have been extremely happy with the suitcase and love all of its thoughtful features!External:Beautiful design, fun colour and helpful front pocket. The wheels glide really well - i have tested it on uneven european streets too. It makes me way less tired than travelling with a simple two wheel suitcase. The handle adjustment height is helpful as well, can adapt it to whatever works for you and it stops at the right level. Also helpful is the side handle when you need to lift the suitcase in the overhead compartment.Internal:The spacing on both sides is even with good use of pockets- even mini pockets on top of compartments for easy last minute additions.A lovely bonus are the packing cubes which really helped me make the most of the space.... Great Suitcase!
I moved to a Samsonite suitcase after having no end of issues with Antler. The quality is great!I travel weekly for work - I don't pack lightly so this is great for 2-3 days away for me or a week for a conventional packer. The wheels are super smooth, the shell is hard wearing and doesn't scratch and the expansion makes a significant difference too. I also love that the lining is washable. Will highly recommend and will purchase again ⭐️... Show more

High Quality & Well Designed
I kept an open mind when selecting my latest cabin bag, exploring bags at all price points. This bag's design is very well thought out, great for someone who wants to feel organised! I also feel very comfortable with the quality of this product as well as the warranty. The JL staff processed it there on the spot - no unnecessary admin to sort afterwards. I am definitely very pleased and would highly recommend this Samsonite bag. It's built to last!... Show more

Samsonite Large Spinner Case
Bought this case for an upcoming family trip to Japan. The generous capacity and simplicity of the case makes it ideal for long haul travel. The ease of the spinner design is ideal. Bought a light colour as a dark colour was not available. There are no compartments inside except for the obvious two main ones. For the price of the item I do feel that the British brand is far superior in all categories and value for money.... Show more

Samsonite Suitcase
We bought a Samsonite case as, although expensive, they are supposed to be a good suitcase. Loved the locking mechanism on it, much easier than messing about with locks and keys. However, we have come back from a very recent holiday after first use and the case has loads of scratches on it. The exterior material is easily marked and scratched. The inner of the case is good but when comparing with our old suitcase (over 20 years old) the lining is very thin, our old one ha lots of padding. This one is lightweight though which is what we wanted.... Show more

So far so good
Have used the cases once. Having read some negative reviews I was a little apprehensive but so far no problems. They are large and spacious as required. Very easy to manoeuvre. Would have liked two zipped covers internally. Combination locks and expanding feature are great. Also purchased the next size down. Didn't check first and have now found they are not nestable which is a shame.... Show more
