I recently bought a Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage 20” Carry-on Spinner in the color Rose Gold, which wasn't an option in the list on Influenster, so I had to select the closest model to the Omni 2. Samsonite is world renowned for making the most durable, lightweight, and conveniently expandable luggage on the market, and the new Omni 2 is a perfect example of why Samsonite is known for its quality luggage. The Samsonite Omni 2 Hardside Expandle 20" Spinner Luggage maximizes your packing power and meets most carry-on size restrictions for those traveling domestically and looking to stay lightweight. - Packing Dimensions: 19”H x 14”W x 9”D (This is the interior dimension , it should be measured from lid to lid of the shell on the inside), Overall ... I know the price tag on Samsonite luggage can be a deterrent for some, but if you are a frequent traveler, whether for business or pleasure, considering the durability and high quality of their luggage, the investment is WELL worth it as this will most likely be the last piece of luggage you'll ever need to buy. I don't know about others, but whenever I travel I prefer to travel with a carry-on bag only. I've had too many experiences with lost luggage when I've brought bags I had to check in. Most of which I was able to recover, (albeit after I had no clothing or essential items during my extended vacation and ended up having to buy everything I needrd at 3x the normal price because I was in a different country) but several of my bags I never got back and all the items I had in them are gone forever. So needless to say, I learned my lesson about checking bags the hard way, and unless it's unavoidable and I'm going out of town for an extended amount of time, I'm just not willing to take the risk of trusting my belongings to the disgruntled airline baggage employees anymore. Have you seen what really goes on behind the scenes with your luggage? If not, ignorance is bliss on that one and consider yourself lucky. I, for one, have friends who work shuttling luggage onto planes, and I will forever have an anxiety attack any time I have to check a bag. That's why I bought the Omni 2, it provides the maximum amount of space and compartments that TSA allows for a carry-on bag, so I have the peace of mind knowing my belongings are safe and sound and within an arms reach of me at all times. Even if it fell from the overhead compartment, the hard shell exterior and secured seperate storage inside keeps my belonging safe from any damage that would occur with a soft shell bag. I was hesitant on the price at first, but the peace of mind the Omni 2 has given me every time I travel is worth for more than the price of the bag. I don't even think about something bad happening to my luggage or the contents anymore, where I use to be constantly worried the entire flight there and back because past experiences gave me a reason to be worried. Now every trip is stress free, at least as far as my luggage goes. And believe me, nothing will ruin a vacation or business trip like reaching your destination and realizing you have no clothes, shoes, clean socks and undies, no makeup, no hygiene products, and you have no choice but to spend whatever money you had saved to enjoy your trip, having to buy basic necessities and expensive clothing with tourist marked up price tags. It will turn a dream vacation into an event that traumatizes you so you never want to travel again, and will completely ruin your confidence landing that new client/promotion you had spent days picking out exactly what to wear for that once in a lifetume business meeting. Not having any of those tragedies happen to you, is definitely worth a few hundreds bucks, trust me. You'll end up spending more buying all new items at your destination the first time anyway. So my advice, get the new Samsonite Omni 2 20" carry-on and travel wherever and whenever you want and never have to worry about your luggage again. It's worth the peace of mind, especially for those who travel frequently or would like to travel more often.

Overall i love Samsonite,it’s my go to for high quality luggage. However this set that I convinced my husband that he should get ended up being a cheap and flimsy version. The wheels did not hold up. In Europe where they throw gravel on the ground in the winter time to prevent slipping on ice you have to carry these on yourself because the gravel gets stuck in the wheels if you roll them and then its game over. Wheels are ruined and this obviously does not go under warranty. Besides this the set feels flimsier than the expensive luggage that is not offered in sets of 3.

Loved the color. Inside is good with the compartments. Has tsa lock but haven’t used it. Wheels still in good shape . My only complaint is the handle that pops up isn’t sturdy. Trying to have the suitcase upright doesn’t work it’s too flimsy even with it barely up. Having the handle all the way out is even worse. So if you have the hsnfle all the way out you have to pull it making it uncomfortable. But so far the baggage handlers throw it all over and no scratches and the rest has held up well

I purchased the Samsonite Omni PC Spinner suitcase, and I'm incredibly impressed with its performance. The durability of the polycarbonate shell is exceptional – it has survived multiple flights without a scratch. Maneuvering through busy airports is a breeze thanks to the spinner wheels, and the telescopic handle feels sturdy. The interior organization is well-thought-out, with multiple compartments and straps to keep my belongings secure. I appreciate the TSA-approved lock for added security. The design is sleek and modern, making it easy to spot on baggage carousels.

Bonus points for its scratch-resistant texture which keeps it looking pristine! 🔄 Maneuverability: Love the 360-degree spinner wheels! Navigating through crowded airports and sidewalks has never been easier. 👝 Interior: Spacious with smart organization options! The cross straps and divider are a game-changer for keeping my belongings tidy. 🔐 Security: Side-mounted TSA lock is a thoughtful touch, giving me extra peace of mind during my travels. 💁♀️ Final Thoughts: A stylish and reliable suitcase perfect for modern jet-setters. Definitely a travel must-have! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend!
My current favourite suitcase. Bought this for my last trip to the Bahamas and Galápagos Islands. Had another carry on luggage but they were showing some wear so decided to get the Samsonite carry on and the larger suitcase for my husband. I love that it is a hard case because I’ve witnessed how the employees load luggages onto the aircraft- they launch luggage with little to no care. This tiny carry on fit our family of 4 snacks, 10 days worth of my bathing suits plus covers, and my clear bag of toiletries. I don’t know how cause it looks so compact but it all fit. I did pack my heels in my hubby’s checked luggage though cause those were 4” heels. It is sturdy and the wheels glide so effortlessly! Recommended to my friends and bought a set for my son.
I had read some reviews of people saying the spinner wheels weren’t that that great but thought it could be something that either I could overlook or not care that much about. I just took it on an international trip and I cannot tell you how much it actually mattered. The wheels aren’t really the 360-spinner easy glide, they are similar to shopping cart wheels in that they have to be facing the direction you want to push the suitcase. By the end of the trip my shoulder was killing me from struggling constantly trying to maneuver the suitcase to glide forward and ultimately completely stopped using it as a glider and ended up just pulling it along on two wheels - which probably made my shoulder feel worse. For this brand and this price point, this small feature should be a slam dunk no problem - but unfortunately it’s not.The plus side is that for its size it is roomy and I surprisingly fit more clothing and items than I had anticipated in a carry on. It also fit easily in overhead compartments. But due to the wheel issue I see myself passing on using this suitcase again and will just use others that I already own that actually glide, which is super disappointing.

Unfortunately, they proved to be the weakest link in an otherwise seemingly sturdy design. The fact that such a vital component failed within such a short time frame is a clear indication of subpar quality. To add insult to injury, Samsonite's warranty policy only exacerbates the frustration. While they claim to offer a warranty, the process is far from convenient for the customer. Instead of standing behind their product and offering a hassle-free replacement, Samsonite requires customers to foot the bill for sending the luggage back to them for repair. This is a significant inconvenience and an unexpected expense for consumers who expected a reliable product in the first place. In an era where customer satisfaction and product durability should be paramount, it's disappointing to see a renowned brand like Samsonite fall short in these crucial aspects. A luggage's wheels are arguably one of the most critical components, and their premature failure is a significant letdown. In conclusion, the Samsonite Omni Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels, while initially promising, ultimately falls short in terms of durability. The fact that the wheels failed in just over a year is a glaring issue, and the company's warranty policy, which places the onus on the customer for repair costs, further dampens the overall experience. I would caution potential buyers to consider these shortcomings before investing in this particular model.
I bought this suitcase two years ago. It has very nice features and I've enjoyed taking many trips. The problem I've had is with the wheels not rolling straight when the suitcase is packed. It tends to veer off to the right or left and seems happiest spinning in circles. This has been annoying and frustrating, to say the least. A service center is not in my state and replacement wheels are no longer available for this model. I'm disappointed with Samsonite after many years of using its products. I do not want to pay for mailing it.
I bought this as part of an Omni set to replace aging luggage and on our very first trip the 24” lost its wheel. When trying multiple times to contact Samsonite to just order a replacement wheel. I began using the 28” as my primary luggage since the 24” was missing it’s wheel, and the first time using it for air travel its wheel breaks off. The polycarbonate shell is great, the wheels and Samsonite’s response to order simple parts after spending $400 on the set is abysmal. I bought Samsonite because of reviews and a reputation for durable, quality luggage. I will not be buying from them again.
