I got the advertised read and write speeds, but only with the reader. It's great though. Super fast. It really blows my mind how tiny and fast solid state storage is these days. Don't settle for the one without the reader. TRUST ME. It needs it for the full advertised speeds. Also, use CrystalDiskMark to test the speeds immediately when you get it. Don't settle for anything significantly less than what is advertised. The "up to" read/write speeds are definitely achievable, but I had to return three times in order to get one that worked as advertised. Don't spend the money on this product if you're not willing to return some lemons.

I can't speak to longevity of this particular card, but I have some Samsung Pro SD and Samsung SSD drives that I've had for at least 4 or 5 years and have never had an issue with any of them.I bought a couple new cellphones (Samsung Galaxy s20+) and wanted to expand the memory. I chose that phone for the expandability, because my wife and I both take a lot of photos and videos for work and personal reasons.I put my card in before Christmas and set my gallery to record on the card instead of internal memory. I'm pretty impressed with it so far. One thing I really like about this card is the fast read and write speeds. I use it for my Steam Deck and it runs fast. The fast speeds make a big difference when it comes to loading times and overall performance.Another thing I like about this card is the price. I am using this in my Steam Deck and I am very happy with the performance. Using this SDXC card has been just as performant as if I run from the internal SSD. Over my many years of using SD cards, I have had good experiences with Samsung and this is no different.Just a heads up, the symbols on the card mean different things (A2, V30, etc).V30 = 30 MB/sec - Video Speed (Continuous recording)U3 = 30 MB/sec - UHS SpeedA2 - 4000 IOPS Random Read / 2000 IOPS Random Write.If you are using this for a Steam Deck the A2 is the most important permance class that you need. This is recommended as it means the SD Card performs faster as a HD type of device.Overall, this is perfect if you want to expand the Steam Deck and I am so happy that I have done it.
First, BestBuy did a fantastic job getting this to me next day, as ordered, even though it was around 10 o'clock at night when I ordered it online. Sure, it cost five or six dollars extra for the next day shipping. But I am impressed that they got it done!Second, this micro SD card works perfectly in my Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.PS - the Galaxy S9 Plus immediately recognized the SD card and asked me if I want to transfer pictures and video there, and if I want pictures and video to be saved there from now on. This SD card was in a drone that I though was lost forever, when a swell swallowed it during my recent vacation. Several days passed after it happened and I have given up on it. Until one morning while walking down the same stretch of beach, saw the drone sticking out of the sand. I ran an grabbed it, took it back to the villa we were staying in. My first though was to wash the whole thing with fresh water to get the sand and salty water out, but instead pulled this SD card out and rinsed it with isopropyl alcohol I was carrying as a hand disinfectant.
