For those who demand their TV fit their home décor and not their home décor fit their TV, the Frame is the perfect solution. From an aesthetic perspective, the Samsung Frame TV is one of the best. I have been extremely impressed with the quality of artwork the Samsung tv displays when in “art mode.” It is relaxing and intriguing (depending on the piece of artwork) when walking by and seeing it on my tv. The selections of art work is impressive if you opt for the subscription service, but it’s nice that Samsung included some free art and the ability to add your own pictures. Installation: The included slim mount is nice for the most part. Unfortunately, it comes it 2 pieces which led to me being able to only use 1 wood stud in my wall, but using anchor screws solved ... Installation: The included slim mount is nice for the most part. Unfortunately, it comes it 2 pieces which led to me being able to only use 1 wood stud in my wall, but using anchor screws solved my problem. Once the TV is hanging on the wall, you can easily adjust it to level it out. I would recommend watching some online videos if you are not familiar with mounting TVs on walls. The included One Connect Box is awesome, it allows you to just run a single wire in your wall instead of numerous cables like Power, HDMI, optical, ethernet, etc. In addition, it’s easy to add, remove, or change any connection since the box is separated. Usability: The Frame uses a custom interface similar to Google TV in layout, with content taking center stage over just Smart APPs, which I really enjoy. It does take some time to figure out all the bells and whistles and where everything is located. The interface is fast, responsive, and it just works well. I was able to set up Google Assistant and SmartThings without issue. One thing I really like is the remote control, which I don’t think gets enough attention or praise. I was able to control all my entertainment devices, built in speaker system that runs throughout our home, subwoofers our PRIME Fire Stick, and newest gaming systems ie PS5 (mostly that just are an accessory lol). It has a built-in solar panel which is able to charge the remote, no more having to re-charge my AA batteries. Picture Performance: Before comparing any TV, you should first update the Picture Mode to “Movie” on this TV, as it gives it the most accurate colors. The Frame with its Quantum Dot, 4K, HDR10+ panel makes a really good picture, colors are vibrant and accurate, the blacks are good (but not OLED black), and I didn’t notice anything that looked bad or out of place like motion blur or dark spots. The one thing I did notice, was that the screen reflected light very well, which is a bad thing. If you have a lot of natural light, this may be an issue with Art mode, during TV watching I forgot about the reflection. It’s very nice they included a Game mode with support for AMD FreeSync eARC over HDMI which allows you to get the latest Atmos enabled sound. Mirroring your mobile device is easy. Bought this TV in june 2021. After more than 1 year of using it I can say it has a lot of flaws and stupid design decisions by Samsung which affect its usability. To name just a few:- the Edit Channels function is absolutely worthless - it only shows one button, "rename channel" but this button is greyed-out for all digital channels. There is no pther function in to edit channels: no renumber or move button and no delete or lock - in fact you can't do anything and are stuck with the default order and default channels. TV is in home mode, not retail. I don't want to be forced to use Favorites. Using an external PC program to reorder the channel seems to work but next TV restart they are reset to the default order. It is very easy to press one of them by mistake and then you need to wait until the app starts- Voice search only works for youtube, not for web (from address bar).- NO updates, in all this time, except a single update I did manually via USB- I had a 3 months promo and 1 month promo, from different campaigns, for the Art Store, which should have worked cumulatively. I started the 3 month one, and after a little more than 1 month I wanted to add the other one - it reset the first 3 months to 1The image is fine, nothing spectacular. I did not use the wall mount.

This is my third current Samsung in the house- 40" 2018 4K/43" 2021 4k Qled and now The Frame. Bought purely on the quality of the first two and GR8 price from Hughes online. Currently used in Kitchen, sat on counter top for viewing. This is not a good idea as colors are washed out as you walk around; coupled with narrow viewing angle horizontally off center is not good at all. Viewd from height is a total waste of time therefore it only belongs on a wall above your eyeline. Only way to get decent brightness is to run on Dynamic picture setting - adjusting(brightness/Contrast etc) settings accordingly, otherwise so dark on other pre sets it is unwatchable. Would not buy another one of these so please be careful if considering and no way should it be in a kitchen ... The TV was bought last year, so this review is coming after approximately a year of use, give or take a month or so.The video quality of the screen appears to be very good, although occasionally it can be a little bit on the dark side. It is currently in use with a 4K Fire Stick, an ageing Blu-Ray player that still miraculously works after almost ten years in use, and a Nintendo Switch. The real issue with this TV is the audio, and I've seen several other people online agree with this assessment. On our previous Samsung TV, we had multiple adjustment options in the settings that made it easy to get balanced volume and fine-tune things to your preferences. These mainly included things like Clear Voice or similar, and Night Mode (which was an ear-saver for me, as I am very sensitive to volume changes). This TV has NONE of these. On all three preset options, dialogue can be inaudible to almost completely silent, while special effects are blasted out so loudly that it's almost impossible to watch any film/movie or TV show without clutching the remote and hovering over the volume button the whole time. We have tried adjusting the equaliser settings over and over in different combinations, using Amplify, Auto Volume, Standard, Adaptive, and we have come to the conclusion that it is virtually impossible to get dialogue to be audible without everything else being far too loud. We are in the process of buying a non-Samsung soundbar or set of speakers because we no longer trust Samsung to give us effective control over our audio experience.I did contact Samsung about this, and they were unable to be of any assistance. They simply asked me to try all of the things that I had already tried already. If they would like to release firmware to add these features to the TV, I would be happy to receive them, but for now, I cannot recommend this TV to anyone who wants a good audio experience out of the box without already owning their own set of speakers.
This is my second frame TV, I have an original 65" in the loungeroom and wanted the same art series in the bedroom so just pulled the trigger on a 43" which I could not get the sensor to work for 3 weeks out of the box consistentlyThe newer version is better with the cable now supplying power to the monitor so no power is required up on the wall which is awesome. The TV guide is much smoother too without the constant spinning wheel while trying to load what's on but it has one major flaw which I'm really unhappy with. Being in a smaller room now and on the wall when I turn the lights on or open the curtains which should enable the sensor to bring the artwork up when it senses movement it doesn't due to the very slim size and position of the movement sensor. Being in a smaller room now and on the wall when I turn the lights on or open the curtains which should enable the sensor to bring the artwork up when it senses movement it doesn't due to the very slim size and position of the movement sensor. They have mounted it to the bottom rear corner of the monitor so the lights from the room cast a shadow from it's frame and it thinks it's still in dark mode even in full daylight. I've had a Samsung tech out that thought it was a faulty sensor and even had the unit replaced under warranty untill I finally worked out what was happening when I put my phone down on the bench and it reflected light up to the sensor! I have since sat a mirror on the cabinet below the tv directing light towards the sensor and it is working fine and I now get the function (art mode turns on) when I walk in the room but this is rediculous it takes this for it to do what it's meant to. This could easily be rectified if Samsung redesigned the sensor to sit flush with the front of the TV's frame or move it to the top so no shadows could be cast on the sensor.I love the art series too much to get a refund but hope they rethink the design in the future.
Pros: Nothing. Ripped off.Cons: Such false advertising!! Be warned, the 32 inch version of the TV is totally different to the other versions, it does NOT come with the "invisible chord" that the other ones do, it comes with a big ugly grey chord that is very obvious, I wish I'd read the reviews on the samsung website which say the same thing. What's more the holes in the back are not compatible with ANY tv stands, they're super weirdly far apart, for no reason, the customer service person said "it's probably so you're forced to buy only their accessories", well, they don't even offer any stand of any kind for the 32 inch model, so you're literally stuck having it wall-mounted, or using the cheap tacky plastic legs that it comes with, which doesn't offer nearly the ... Seriously terrible that they don't mention these things about the 32 inch model, it's very different and does not have the same features as the larger models (for now justifiable reason) yet it's on the same page and uses the same nice sleek video to advertise it as the other models do, very disappointing and misleading, wanted to warn others about these aspects so nobody else gets duped.
The Samsung 65" Q60A 4K UHD QLED Smart TV viewing angle is amongst the narrowest on Smart TV's so unless one sits directly in front of the television, picture quality is compromised. So this Smart TV is actually not so smart as in a typical family setting, some viewers sitting on the outer parameter are subjected to compromised picture quality. Picture quality at optimal seating positions can best be described as temperamental due colour inconsistency. Sometimes the dominant colours are so bright they almost appear unnatural with bright colours having a fluorescent tinge. And this is where the Samsung Q60A series falls short - only a few "scenes" to choose from. This TV is bright so the "Dynamic" setting is a waste of time as it is too harsh - so bright one would ... Sometimes the dominant colours are so bright they almost appear unnatural with bright colours having a fluorescent tinge. And this is where the Samsung Q60A series falls short - only a few "scenes" to choose from. This TV is bright so the "Dynamic" setting is a waste of time as it is too harsh - so bright one would need sunglasses. "Standard" or "Natural" is okay, "Movie" courts a slightly different tone and "Filmmaker Mode" is almost the same as "Natural" scene mode.Sound quantity on the Samsung 65" Q60A 4K UHD QLED Smart TV series is atrocious and possibly the worst ever encountered. The Standard setting is harsh, flat and hollow with almost none-existent bass. One has 3 basic options, Standard, Adaptive and Amplify. Standard is outright atrocious, Adaptive is hit and miss and Amply should have been the "standard" setting, with sound enhancements following from there. Samsung, perhaps knowing the horrible sound shortfalls, are constantly promoting their Soundbars at discounted prices. The narrow base or feet on the Q60 series is horrible. The Samsung website shows this Soundbar centrally placed, just under a Samsung TV - but it's not this model. As the Samsung 65" Q60A 4K UHD QLED Smart TV’s feet configuration is central, a Soundbar at 980mm wide, would have to be placed off-centre, to the side of the TV which only has 550mm free space from stand edge to TV end. Feet are not height adjustable, and clear height underneath is 65mm.The Soundbar is 58mm high so no placement is possible beneath the TV.I initially thought the remote control is the best I have seen to date. But after a few months of use, I find the raised (left / right) rectangular buttons (Volume and Channel changing) highly annoying and not finger-friendly as one inadvertently changes or mutes volume, while on the channel button, flicking channels is hit and miss. My guess is that these buttons will expire prematurely. The upside - Samsung TV's are well packaged, with unpacking and assembly easy due to a brilliant, easy to follow instruction leaflet. On screen instructions are superb and settings easy to follow. The Samsung service is the best I have experienced to date from a large corporation.
Firstly & the main reason I purchased The Frame is to view my own photographs, which I think is a great feature as I have so many photographs that never get viewed, that being said I think it could benefit greatly from using a better file system, so you could have different types of pictures in individual folders so you could view what you felt like on any day, instead of just dumping a tone of photos on and just having one option favourite or photos. Another frustrating thing is having to individually add a mount to each photo instead of adding to a bulk selection, I believe on the larger models if you have portrait oriented photos you can select a dual mount so you can view two photos at the same time, but not on the 32” version, so I had to solve this on the pc ... On the 32” model I purchased came with a very noticeable light grey lead connecting the box to screen, plus the thick aerial & satellite cables have to be plugged into the back of the screen, so now you have a nice picture frame with trunking down the wall (to hide the cables) from its bottom right.I had problems with the Wi-Fi reception, which surprised me as I had ran a few streaming technologies in the same location connected to the same router & the same broadband connection. So I was forced to purchase a Wi-Fi extender/booster which solved the problem.
This is an impressive smart TV, with an inbuilt wi-fi that connected to the internet without any problems.. However, it seems that these days manufacturers don't take account of how - here in the real world - their new technologies are not always compatible with the "old" of 10 to 15 years ago some of us still possess. In my case, I found that there was no way to connect the TV sound output to my stereo - unlike my previous Samsung TV, which had numerous RCA/phono ports on the back, including sound output. To cut a long story short, I have had to purchase a soundbar in order to have better sound. Also, strangely, the optical connection doesn't work. I'm waiting for a HDMI cable to test that connection; in the meantime I have been able to connect TV and soundbar via ... I also wasn't prepared for the reflectiveness of the screen; when there is little or no light in the room the picture is excellent, however.
My Samsung Frame TV, to go with my 3 other Samsungs in the house.I bought this as I needed something to fit above the fireplace, and it had to be slim. The picture quality is far better than I expected and is fully customisable to suit your room, even though it can adjust itself automatically dependant on darkness of your room, time of day etc.Sound quality through the TV is excellent but I opted to add the Samsung Q950T sound system for some really emersive viewing. The one thing that I really like is that there’s just 1 thin cable from the TV, as per the 2nd picture, which plugs into the hub, 3rd picture.Features again are superb and there’s loads of options to set up your TV exactly as you want it.I’ve had Samsung TVs for the last 15 years and they’re ... I have 3 other Samsungs dotted around the house and they’re just as good as my new Samsung Frame. Finally, value for money? Yes most definitely in my opinion. I have an excellent TV, with the features, quality and a price I wanted, which I think is definitely value for money for a quality product.
