Initially I was worried that the size would feel a little too big and bulky, but for my space and desk it is perfect. Ultrawides are finally becoming a bit more common and that's great news. Now there are more options in mid price ranges like this Samsung Viewfinity. Picture is great out of the box and the screen is built for multi-tasking. For gaming it has a good refresh rate and since UW is becoming more popular a lot more games have native ultrawide support so playing with a wide picture is great.As usual Samsung has a winner on their hands especially for the entry price. There are better options for more serious gamers but, this works great when using for both work/school and gaming.
I purchased both this and the Samsung Odyssey OLED ultrawide and I ended up keeping this monitor as I use it more for work than for gaming and I did not want to risk the burn in on the OLED. This monitor is much thicker than the Odyssey OLED and definitely not as crisp, however it is also significant cheaper. The webcam does not add much value for me. You need windows 11 to use it and it has poor quality and you can't angle the camera in anyway, so you might want to opt for the cheaper version which does not include the webcam. Otherwise I love this monitor, great value and perfect for an office setup.
I work from home and usually use about 3-4 monitors. I decided to try out this large screen and split my screen, eliminating two monitors down to just one. So far I like it better, I am able to compare my data easier than if having to look at two monitors. Great picture quality too. If I was to change anything, I might have opted for an even larger screen to see my spreadsheets but this is serving its purpose. 10/10.
The experience begins as the package is delivered with care and the unboxing starts. Each item is packaged carefully with clearly identifiable parts and easy instructions. It was a cinch to put together and it probably took less than 5 minutes! The the magic happens as the screen lights up and the crisp clear images come into focus. Its an experience like no other! This is a game changer for all monitors!! I primarily use my screen in the office and it was gr8 to be able to have 2 screens open at once on this tremendous screen. It makes my previous screen look like a toy. I will definitely be recommending this product to my fans!!
I love the actual monitor for the size clarity and ease of adjustment. My problem is that the webcam and usb port on back of pc do not work, I did buy this open box, but the condition said Excellent Geek Squad Certified. I have done all updates restarted etc to no avail. I did not have enough to buy the 80 dollar protection plan which is also why I had to buy open box, so when I try to get support they want me to pay, this is how they sent it to me, why do I have to pay!! I went to Samsung and they verified my purchase and gave me a limited warranty, which is basically sms assistance, looks like I am going to just buy a cheap webcam and be done with all the run around I am getting
I have bought a used monitor that was offered as fully functional and free from defects. I received a monitor that was glitching every several minutes and had very low image quality. So I have paid, and I have nothing. Horrible service. Afterwards, I found on the Best Buy web pages more similar to my opinion about Samsung ViewFinity S6's low quality.DEAR DIGITEC, YOU HAVE OFFERED THE MONITOR AS CHECKED!!!!Today (after 2 weeks) I received the monitor after service. They have changed the LCD panel, and the picture is fantastic, but USB-C is not working :-(.
Great monitor for use with work, school, gaming, or everyday use. With the amazing picture quality and visuals it's great for viewing slideshow photos, and equally as amazing in comfortability for someone who must be at a screen for extended periods of time.Gives you a wider, more subversive experience, as well as helping to block out potential peripheral distractions.Ultimately, aiding in increased focus!Easy to setup, use and maintain. My only request be in the future to have a wider, maybe weighted, as well, stand base. (For less sturdy work areas and incapapilities for all to anchor it.)
