This product is completely non-intuitive to use. The washer seems to wash clothes alright, though I haven't used it much because the dryer simply does not dry clothes. That said, the bleach compartment for the washer is wedged into the very back of the detergent drawer so that it is nearly impossible to get the bleach container close enough to pour bleach into the compartment without spilling it everywhere. There is no way to over-ride this feature, so it just does not get clothes anywhere close to dry. With my old dryer (also a Samsung) I would sometimes put a towel in to warm it up on a cold morning so I had a nice heated towel when i get out of the shower. No way to do that with this dryer. It is just complete crap, and from what I can tell from having since read other reviews, it is not a defect, it is crap by design.

It is not unusual for me to have to put the same blanket in up to 3 times to dry it.I also agree with the review that the controls are not well lit. Even the power button is impossible to find in a room that isn't well lit because the lights don't even come on when the door is open. You'd think the door of the machine being open would automatically trigger the lights, even if only for a couple of minutes so you could see to start the load. Please don't bother with the obligatory "troubleshooting" reply. My problems with running these machines are not with my inability to operate them. These products are simply poor quality.

Now light on power ON button by DESIGN!!!
10 January 2024

My big complaint is that where I have it installed, there is no direct light falling on the control panel, and because it is kind of a "Black Out" design, I can't see the power on button, which is in a different place than on the matching washing machine! Also, unlike the washer, when you do find the button and press it, it still does not illuminate, but worse than that is that the Start/Pause light does not come on when you power on the dryer with the ON botting (it does on the washer, but like the dryer, the ON button and the Start/Pause buttons do illuminate after turning on).It is stupid to have touch controls that are not illuminated! I hate that and I hate having to use a flashlight to fine the power on button and the Start/Pause button. If you have a very bright laundry center or lights that fall on the panel, then this may not be an issue, but if your laundry center has a simpl overhead light that does not fall on the front panel, you may quicky get irritated by the fact that they couldn't even put a freaking LED that illuminated the power on button and the Start/Pause button. Some will think I am over-reacting, but not everyone has floodlights in their laundry center. As a dryer, I have no real complaints.Last, you are supposed to be able to control the dryer through the washer, but this only works when you have an optional cable and apparently it is intended for use when the dryer is stacked above the washwer.Last, the Smart Things app is kind of a joke. Do you really need to control your washer with your phone? If you do, then you better have the dryer in standby mode, and better do something within 24 hours, or the stand by drops out. As for me, the app did nothing, nada, zip. It was a waste of time to install it.

The washer handles the most slobbered up napkins with ease and I have already done table linens for both 8 and 12 in the washer. My linens all require ironing. I have a 1950's vintage mangle that I use forironing (it is a dream). But, I am still getting used to the drier. I have overdried the linens which makes starching difficult. To get around this, I toss the whole batch in the drier on steam and it moistens them to the perfect level for ironing/starching. Admittedly, it is very new ... but this set cuts the post processing of laundry in 1/2 for things I need to iron. It is a dream. One of the nicest features is the fact that the pair is web enabled (no it does not phone home to the south pole!) but from the web interface and the Samsung app, you can set up your own personal favorite cycles (I steam cycle EVERYTHING). It reduces the inspect and prespot laundry dramatically, so that is the first cycle that pops up on the menu.

Ultra Capacity Electric Dryer with Ai Optimal Dry and Super Speed Dry, there are plenty of advantages and just a few disadvantages.Advantages - The modern and stylish Bespoke design has three colors to choose form: Silver Steel, my favorite the Brushed Navy and now Forest Green. It a large capacity of 7.6 cu. ft. for large loads and an Ai Dry that senses the time and temperature settings for your clothes. The Ai Smart Dial is an all-in-one turn of the dial feature that learns and recommends cycles based on the clothes you constantly wash. It also has MultiControl which if connected to the matching washer could be controlled from there. The Wi-Fi Connectivity is great for controlling the dryer from the SmartThings App and setting up many features like end of cycle alerts, and scheduling cycles when not at home (Feature: Remaining Laundry - Going Out Mode). Another great feature that my normal dryer never had is the Steam Santize+ which helps remove odor, wrinkles and static while removing most pollens from clothing. There are a total of 20 Preset Drying Cycles and most are available on the SmartThings App which can be added to the Ai Smart dial. These cycles include, but not limited to Permanent Press to Rack Dry, which is a great added accessory for those items you don't want tumbling around in the dryer (sneakers, baseball caps). There are also an additional 14 Options to help with the drying to include: Anti-Static and Wrinkle Prevent, 5 Temperature Settings and 5 Drying Levels to help keep your clothes dry.Disadvantages - Small capacity as compared to other dryers in the market with a larger capacity starting at 8.0 cu. ft. to 9.0 cu. ft. The drying of clothes is at times damp depending on the amount of clothes in the dryer. There are constant smudges and fingerprints on the glass door and all along the finish of the dryer. In conclusion, as I stated at the beginning of this review, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Yes, the few disadvantage are just my nitpicking on capacity and dryness, but overall, It's very modern and gets the job done. This product is a promotion being reviewed from The Insiders.

By far the worst washer/dryer combo I've ever purchased. Save your money and spend just five more minutes researching before spending $500+ on this line. Between the "AI" features and actual performance, I've had Samsung-approved service come to my home more than four times. I've also had a private electrician confirm that the connections are fine, so the only issue left is with both units. Using the app, you get access to a ton of AI features that are garbage and just waste your time. Publicly released information reveals that the units use sensors in the drum to measure weight and soil, optimizing water, time, heat, speed, etc. Whether this is due to my units being defective or just poor performance from the Bespoke line, I've found these features to be quite ... MoreBy far the worst washer/dryer combo I've ever purchased. The AI label is appealing to stockholders, but using these features will not get your laundry done on time.live in a single-family house with five people, and we rely on laundry being done on time. On the machine or in the app, you are given a time for when the laundry will be done, but this is NOT accurate. Whether in the washer or dryer, it will extend the time in tiny, annoying increments, making you wait for hours.I recommend this product only to those without a full-time job who have hours to spare collecting berries and doing laundry without a care, because with the Bespoke line, you'll spend a lot of money on a machine that leaves your clothes damp and wrinkled.

I declined. The THIRD time they delivered it, it was scratched from top to bottom, i was tired of dealing with them so I just sucked it up and took it. They also installed it correctly this time. Now here we are about 14 months after the purchase and it makes a terrible noise during the spin cycle. I mean so loud you can hear it at my neighbors. (I'm really not exaggerating) I called to have it repaired and found out it was only a 1 year warranty so I have to pay to have the biggest hunk of crap I've ever purchased, fixed. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. It was a horrible experience from the word go and I'll never buy another samsung or deal with lowes delivery again. My last washer was out dated which is why we replaced it. We had it for 12 years. Buy whirlpool.

Very much regret this expensive purchase.
24 November 2023

I hate this dryer. I really regret buying this. Our old dryer that this replaced was much better and dried faster. One of the reasons I bought it was because it had a “My cycle” function which my old dryer had. On my old dryer it meant that you could save a specific setting you wanted (like time/temp/type of fabric). That’s not what it means on this new dryer. It basically just means you can have it display whatever cycles you want and then you still have to set them (like go to options and turn off eco mode every single time because despite being AI it can’t remember that you do that every single time.) So My Cycles is misleading and useless to me on this dryer. Also the sensor function has never worked well. Even if I put it on the driest setting they still come ... MoreI hate this dryer. I really regret buying this. Our old dryer that this replaced was much better and dried faster. One of the reasons I bought it was because it had a “My cycle” function which my old dryer had. So My Cycles is misleading and useless to me on this dryer. Also the sensor function has never worked well. Even if I put it on the driest setting they still come out unquestionably damp so I only ever use the timed dry because using the sensor is useless. And it takes like 80 min at least to dry on level 3 for perm press clothing (it took an hour max on my 12 year old dryer). We even had a technician out here to check the dryer and she said nothing was wrong with it. She recommended we keep it off eco mode so it’ll actually dry better (which, again, you have to go into options and turn off every dang time). I haven’t actually noticed any improvement in dry time turning it off. She also said she hears a lot of people complain about the same things and wish they had kept their old dryer. Basically it just sucks. I so wish we had kept our old dryer and just got a new washer! And on top of it all, we bought direct from Samsung and it was a horrible months-long debacle where the delivery driver refused to install and drove off with our washer and dryer and Samsung was completely useless and maddening for months on end. Don’t buy directly from them because if you get some crazy delivery person then they are of absolutely no help.

Worst purchase ever!!

I have had on-going issues for 2 years now and determined this is the worst washer and dryer possible. The washer and dryer has destroyed at least a $1,000 worth of clothing, towels, bedsheets, etc. Any light type material like dry fit gets picked apart. It's the design of the tumblers paddles. They have gaps where clothing will get snagged and it pulls the fabric. The washer will also have water in the dispenser after every wash.Customer service has been a nightmare on how they operate. Can only have one ticket open at a time and will send the repair tech out for only one at a time. Samsung will only allow up to $500 for damaged clothing as well. Guess we will never recoup that loss or get the time back which has been wasted for the past two years of hours upon ... MoreI have had on-going issues for 2 years now and determined this is the worst washer and dryer possible. I also have a Samsung refrigerator which has given us multiple issues with the freezer and ice maker.
