The best thing is it saves energy a lot of energy and you can see how much you are saving, month to month and overall, creates less lint and is easier on your clothes. great product and got it at a great price. The Home Depot met every promise they made. Make sure the delivery company leave the shipping hardware in case you want to move the unit to a new home.

Best All-in-One in the West (for now)

I purchased this product after watching an in-depth, unbiased review from "Ben's Appliances and Junk" on YT.This is currently the largest capacity All-in-One offered in the Western market. I waited to leave my review until I had used it for multiple loads of various sizes and materials (one load of general items such as clothes, towels, socks; one load of bedding; and one load of various heavy material in this case a woven large blanket and a set of curtains). With clothing and like items this unit does the job well at both washing and drying, as long as you do not overload the unit. I emphasize slightly because the items did not take that much time to dry out.The unit is LOADED with features. I love that you can pour bleach, detergent, and softener and have the machine pour appropriate amounts for your loads. It will also inform you via the app (if you choose) and the actual machine when your levels are getting low and you need to refill. You can also choose to add dryer seats and have the unit stop before the drying cycle to let you add them. If you utilize the app it'll even send a notification when it's time to do this if you forget about it.The biggest things to watch out for these units, is that you can overload them or they will become very inefficient when it comes to drying. A LOT of people purchase these units assuming they can overload them like they do with a standalone dryer and it'll be fine, that isn't the case. If you don't overload the units, they work fine. A standalone washer and dryer are still better overall in terms of capability of doing each task vs an All-in-One. I suspect this won't ever change really. Yet if you're like me and you need to conserve space and don't mind the longer cycle times, this unit is perfect for you! I do like the convenience of being able to throw a load in and by the time it's done I just need to fold everything and put it away.Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and only docked 1-star because the sensors could use some fine tuning to detect dampness better and extend drying times. Samsung seems to get a lot of flak/hate in the Western market for seemingly no reason, but they make great products. People seem to abuse a product then have it break and buy a new one and treat it better than claim the new brand is better, yet that bias happens because they treated the second better after abusing the first. In my opinion I think Samsung is victim of this "practice" in the West. Doesn't matter the brand if you abuse a product, you will shorten its lifespan. This product has overall great warranties around it and is well-made.

False Advertisement on Warranty

I purchased 2 of these machines for our home directly from Samsung, but unfortunately the obvious lack of any extended warranty coverage options is very concerning. Be mindful, there is pretty much only a 1 year usable warranty on the device. Don't be fooled by the 20 year digital inverter motor warranty, there will likely be another point of failure on the device well before then.My biggest issue was the lack of Samsung Care+ and the false advertisement of being able to purchase an extended warranty. Not having the option to add extended warranty leads us to believe that Samsung does not have confidence in their own product. Hopefully Samsung addresses this issue and allows us and any potential future buyers opt in to an extended warranty as well.

No Drying Rack & No Pedestal

I thought I should make it clear since Lowes does not, this does NOT have a drying rack. We used the rack on our old dryer for delicate clothing, and shoes. This came up in my results after filtering, one filter point was "has drying rack" which it does actually say in the specs. Anyway, my wife is pretty disappointed at the misinformation.On to the pedestal, I bought the "people also buy this" Samsung bespoke universal pedestal. Clothes have been dry, not damp, and we've just used normal dry level. I will continue to test but, so far, if this appliance actually lasts, it will be my favorite purchase to date. I've heard a lot of complaints about clothes taking a long time to dry... I have not noticed this at all. I washed a set of queen sheets in 98 minutes like it advertises. One wash was slated for 2 hours, another 3, it seems long when you see the time but, if I had an actual timer on our old units, it would probably be longer. Plus, you don't have to switch the clothes, they go immediately from wash to dry.So, TL;DR There is no drying rack, there is no pedestal currently, and, on the limited 4 days experience I have, I have zero regrets so long as it keeps up the awesome work.

Also, what about the lint? & why isn't Samsung Care offered & only a superficial "20 year digital inverter motor" warranty? There is a slight learning curve on working with the long cycles (typical load takes approx 3-3.5 hours washed & dryed), but once that door pops open your clothes are completely laundered, look, smell, and feel fresh & ready to be go. None of the "slightly damp" feel that other brands seem to have problems with, and the seal stays clean and dry around the door so no problem with odor either.You MUST stay vigilant when it comes to the lint removal. This is a bit tedious with the cartridge like design (with 2 layers of filtering) and the delicacy of the lint filter, but with this being a "ventless" unit the lint HAS to go somewhere, & better the trash than the heat pump! You also must remember to clean the slot the filter comes out of, as hair seems to find it's way under the filter. Cleaning this requires a long-handled, thin, soft brush (like a swifter-style duster). I really feel Samsung should have included a cleaning tool/brush & a 2nd filter with this unit. The filter must be rinsed & air dry before starting another load, & adds to the wait time before being able to proceed.Since Samsung has decided not to offer Samsung Care, the lint & how well (often) it and it's housing are cleaned & taken care of will be critical for any longevity out of this unit. Even then...only time will tell.BUT so far this unit has exceeded all expectations & my laundry has never come out better. We tend to stick mostly with the AI Opti Wash & Dry cycle as it has proven to know what's it's doing & is always more efficient in both water and power consumption.Samsung, just throw in an extra filter & an option for a 3 year warranty & it's 5 stars all day!

Whenever I use soft fabrics, my old machine would wash it too much giving kind of faded color, the samsung machine is great as it able to recognize it and adjust accordingly. It made my life so much easier as I don’t have to change the setting every time, I could just select Normal wash and the washing machine would handle the rest. Although, I didn’t test it enough, I feel like the washing machine has been using significantly less water. My only pet-peeve is I wish they the drying time is little less than it is. But given that this is ventless machine, I am still mesmerized at its capabilities and functionalities.If you are looking for all-in one smart washing machine, then this is it, period!

Bixby as your AI Assistant - just simply ask Bixby questions as you would Google Assistant. I love the Detergent Auto Despenser and Flex Dispenser, which allows you to load it with two different kinds of detergent, for example in my case I use a regular detergent for every day clothes and a special detergent for my mother's sensitive skin! Very intuitive! You can also use the Softener dispenser as your Detergent therefore having even more loads.Dryer works amazingly, all my towels came out dry and fluffy. There was no lint left over on the drum or the rubber seal either, which is nice!Another surprise was when the washing cycle is over the door automatically opens! So when you are not home you know that laundry will be OK with an open door!I am seriously impressed with this washer/dryer as I also own its competitor's wash combo and Samsung is definitely more advanced.One thing I would suggest is a Pedestal for this washer, hopefully there will be one sold soon as it will make loading and unloading more comfortable.I am still exploring all other features and simply cannot wait to do laundry so I could try something new.
