Samsung EP-T4510XBEGUS AC Adapter, 45W USB-C Power Supply for Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, Apple iPhone

Bought this for my new Samsung S23 Ultra. Based on the few times I have charged it this new fast charger speeds up the process by about 15 - 20 minutes to full charge compared to using my old Note 9 charger. I probably didn't need it, but since these greedy companies are no longer including chargers I figured it would be good to have another.One thing I would say is it is quite heavy and slightly bigger than my old charger, so I will not be taking it on trips. I will use my old Note 9 charger for travel and use this as day to day home base charger.

Failed after just over a year of use. Not even regular use. I used it on weekends only as I'm split between where I live. Really ridiculous. No redesign either so wouldn't buy again. I'm looking out for an aftermarket one. Checked for damage to the port but no physical damage. I never moved it around. It was left plugged into wall and I'd turn it off at the wall rather than plug it out. Always wary with leaving things plugged in so it was only ever on as long as I was charging my phone. I gave it a very easy life and it's still broke.

While I’ve largely used Anker’s chargers for my devices for the last few years, their high-wattage PPS chargers won’t work with Samsung’s oddball 9v/5a combination required to reach 45w on their new phones so I went with the OEM option for my S22+. Even 100w PPS chargers will typically top out at 26w as they depend on using higher voltages to keep the current down and I’ve yet to find an aftermarket charger that’s specified to work with these phones at full power. Where it does make a big difference though is when you’re near empty and have a short period to put some charge into the phone - a five minute charge on this unit puts in nearly double the energy than any of my other chargers. It is expensive, however, so whether that very specific use-case is important to you is certainly a question, but if you want to get the absolute fastest charging with your new Samsung phone this is pretty much the only option on the market right now.Aside from cost, the only complaints that I have with this charger is that it only has one socket and the AC plugs are fixed rather than folding so it can be awkward to stow when travelling despite its diminutive size. That’s nitpicking though as it’s advertised more as a desk charger, but having been spoiled for choice with a wide variety of QC3 form factors over the years it’s a little difficult to go back to one-plug-one-device setup again. If that’s not an issue for you and the cost is acceptable, then this is an excellent choice to go with any modern Samsung smartphone.
