Owned for 2 days so... packaging is very poor, feet aren't as sturdy as cheaper models, drum light has a yellow glow, the light is a nice feature. You are unable to turn the button beeps off, that's annoying. The smart connection requires you to enable every time, you also cant control all aspects such as light, intensive, prewash and detergent/conditioner. The app on the website implies more stats, they are poor, not sure about the recipes.Who actually wants to rince clothes 5 times? That aside it eats liquid and conditioner, and yes I have set it up, calibrated etc.Now for washing, the drums not big enough for a 10kg washer, it hasn't cleaned my socks or my doggies duvet without leaving stains, yes intensive, yes bubble soak. The full auto wash well that's not great, worse than the specific duvet wash as you cant add pre wash or intensive. For a grand, its poor, the drain window hits the floor when you open it and the hinges poor, mine isnt even square against the top and sides, the one in a big store was the same, its the fitment. For the money, I'd expect better smart integration, your load sensing etc isnt good enough, and your machine doesnt clean stains because yoyrfocused on time, the drums not big enough.Bought to replace LG F4V910BTS because of 2 arriving with the same fault, this one due to poor packaging was damaged also, probuably delivery driver. That aside it gave me anopertunity to evaluate this washer. Its £200 plus morethan the LG, it isnt worth it, the twin drum doesnt appear to around much, I watched a duvet cycle and didnt see it, 2 drums... where do you get that from?So samsung, your probuably going to say contact customer services, incorrect use blah blah blah, here's the answer...I'm returning this really expensive washing machine that eats liquid, doesnt clean stains, the door swings open and the packaging is very very poor because your packaging is so bad a replacment will inevitably arrive damaged. I'll give the LG another go, it's better looking, cleans stains at 40degrees andyou can turntheannoying beeps off.Do yourself a favour, spend afew hundred less and get a better wash, I care nit about time, I want my clothes cleaning, your washer doesnt.Extreamly disapointed and glad i canreturnit.

1st of all, this washing machine looks fantastic, it will fit right in with any modern kitchen. It's very economical compared to our old one. Now when I say this, I'm not talking about how much water or electricity it uses, the self dosage draws must have saved me about £30 so far as my wife would frequently use far too much detergent and softener, we would literally go through products rated for 40 washes in about 10.Now, with the washing machine taking care of dosages, we don't have that problem.I love how quiet it is too and how fast. Our old machine would get stuck so many times trying to balance the load, the bigger drum has made a world of a difference. Now for the smart stuff...The smartthings automatic replenishment system is a joke. Our old machine would get stuck so many times trying to balance the load, the bigger drum has made a world of a difference. Now for the smart stuff...The smartthings automatic replenishment system is a joke. You are limited to a very small selection of brands and you are unable to select both detergent and fabric softener. Amazon sell the brands I use but, I am unable to select them through the Smartthings Amazon portal. I have raised this with both Amazon and Samsung and although Amazon tried to help, because it's an issue with the Samsung Smartthings Amazon portal and not Amazon directly, they were unable to help. Samsung, basically said they would forward it to the smartthings team but I haven't heard anything since. This is really frustrating as one of the main selling points was that it would order more before it ran out.I hope this gets resolved as I would like to use the feature. The addwash drawer is annoying. So, the washer has a sensor which knows when the drawer has been opened (great) but, you still need to pause the washer 1st before you can add to the wash which is counter intuitive since you can simply open the main door once it's paused. It's especially annoying if you have the child lock on (we use it because its really easy to knock the touch panel if your washing up which can easily turn the washing machine off!)Surely you can send a firmware update which will detect the drawer has been opened, pause the cycle, keep the main door locked but allow you to pop your socks in (or what ever) then for the cycle to resume once the door is closed again?I have used the smartthings washing machine app a few times. The washing recipe is a nice little touch although it would be much better if you could manually set what you want. For example: I have a mixed coloured load (Jeans, a few towels, jumpers, t shirts and underwear) a normal family load. Because it's not that dirty, I want to use super wash at 40°c but I don't want to spend a long time drying them so I want to select a 1600rpm spin. Currently, I am unable to select that and if I try and use the wash recipe, I would be told I can't wash jeans and a jumper together even though it's rather normal to do so.The washing machine won't communicate to Alexa or Google home without purchasing a smartthings hub. This one I understand why but it's a cheap trick.I've always been intrigued by smart hubs but I am put off from purchasing one because of the high price (for what they are).I thought about giving this washing machine 3 stars due to these frustrations but, a lot of the niggles are software related which can be resolved by OTA firmware updates. I sincerely hope that Samsung take a few of these issues and sorts them out.Mainly, the Smartthings Amazon portal (we need more brands and allow us to select both detergent and softener)The addwash door (detect it's open, automatically pause the wash keeping the main door locked but allowing you to use the add wash door, then automatically resuming the wash once the door is closed again.)

Horrible appliance and horrible experience! I used to think high of Samsung. Not anymore. This device started to have issues after 1 year of use. Pump started to have issues and eventually after 2 years of use and numerous calls to Samsung, their engineer replaced the main PCB and the pump. on 16/12/2022, 1 week before Christmas, after 1 week of Samsung engineer's visit the appliance broke down completely, the drum went loose with clanks and thumps and banged everything inside and ruined the dampers and the drum system itself. Paid £800 for this appliance in 2020 and now in 2022 Samsung is asking us to pay around £600 to repair it as they claimed it was misuse/ unbalanced wash load + £139 as a callout charge, this is absurd to say the least! Absolutely love this refrigerator freezer. It's tall but proportionally correct and the clever use of all this height space means max storage. It's temp is very constant, both fridge and freezer. Given the technology involved here, they have done extremely well. In a nutshell, food simply lasts longer in this refrigerator compared to all others I have owned previously. Sadly I find myself frustrated with this machine and with the Resolution Department. Despite having an extended 5 year warranty. The machine just stops within a minute or two of starting up. It then takes many attempts to get it started and complete a cycle. Very frustrating as it can add an hour of my time just trying to get the cycle to start. As it’s a temperamental fault happening maybe 40% of the time, I just kept working with it but on return from holiday with 4 cases of laundry to get through, I’d well and truly had enough.Samsung sent an engineer. Nice chap. Said he’d order the part and I should hear from them in a few days. In a few days I was told there was no parts available so they can either replace with new machine or refund. Nice chap. Said he’d order the part and I should hear from them in a few days. In a few days I was told there was no parts available so they can either replace with new machine or refund. Needless to say, they didn’t have an alternative machine either. So they had no parts to fix their own machine. And no alternative new machines to replace it with. Really???? So, a refund has to happen which means I have the hassle of looking for a new machine. I then get told I will not be refunded for the delivery, connection and disconnection that I paid at the time of purchase. I realise it wasn’t Samsung who hit the money for delivery, connection and disconnection (that was paid to AO who I bought the machine from) but that’s not my problem. That should be between Samsung and AO. It’s because of the fault in the Samsung machine that I am having to order a new machine and pay for connection and delivery all over again. That’s not AO’s fault either. It’s Samsungs. So I’m being expected to pay that all over again. To rub salt into the wound, I’m told I’d have to wait 14 days for refund after they’ve taken away the existing machine. So a machine they tell me they can’t repair, or replace is going back to them. Why?!! And leaves me with no machine for anything up to 14 days. A machine that works 50% of the time is better than none.In a nutshell, the extended warranty is clearly a waste of time. Samsungs ability to fix their own machines or replace them is equally troublesome. It’s the first time I’ve bought Samsung washing machine and I won’t be doing it again. And as for asking me how I am today nearly 10 mins into our conversation makes no sense what so ever.
I have had this fridge since early 2017 it was purchased to replace a very unreliable Samsung Fridge American fridge that stopped working after a few years. It was repaired under warranty on a couple of occasions but after it failed and was out of warranty, I purchased this fridge for my kitchen. I stupidly bought another Samsung fridge. This then failed in 2018. It was repaired under warranty but I lost a lot of food as I didn’t have any receipts for any of the food that was frozen!!! The ice maker froze up and failed in about 2019. From that point it has needed de icing every few weeks. It has now failed again the ice maker has stopped the annoying clicking and it is keeping cold providing the power is turned on and off every few hours. It looks great the fridge drawer and the sparkling water are outstanding features but not at the price of a fridge that doesn’t keep things cold. One star for value as I can’t give zero. For this totally useless fridge.

Since the fridge was purchased just before the Christmas period, a large quantity of food was bought, but the space maximised fridge designed by Samsung allowed for it to be all stored without hassle. The Total No Frost technology that has been introduced by Samsung DID drain moisture away and helped to maintain an even temperature to prevent ice build-up and was noted by frozen food but no ice! This enabled for food cooking times as advertised on food packets to be maintained and helped to keep my children happy. The lack of ice build-up also meant that more food could be stored in the freezer as ice did not take up any space due to it not existing. Due to purchasing larger amounts of food due to the Christmas period, a large amount of fresh food remained in the fridge a lot longer than expected, especially regarding fruit and vegetables, but remained still edible to eat! Additionally, the ability of the easy slide shelf aided access to items at the back of the fridge with ease, something that was perfect with eager children around, whom want to grab and pull especially when wanting to get their hands-on yummy food. I am very impressed with how the fridge works. The Digital Inverter Compressor ingeniously alters the power and running speed, with reduced noise, overall resulting in an increase in the energy conserved something I was sceptical about to begin with but enthralled now I know it works! Furthermore, small additions of the door alarm and vacation mode helped to keep food fresh. The door alarm was ideal especially over Christmas with children in and out of the fridge, notified me if it has been left open too long and meant I could close it to ensure food remained fresh. The vacation mode puts the fridge into optimum low power mode which was used when we went to visit relatives for New Year, with all food still fresh and frozen respectively upon return. Overall this fridge is an ideal and suitable purchase for any family but would be a great addition to the kitchen for a family with children, very spacious, food preserving and energy saving. IT IS a Technological wonder of the kitchen
Long story short: this purchase hasn’t been planed at all due to financial issues and due to lack of work because COVID-19, but I and my husband live into a rental house and the previous washing machine (other brand) decided to leave us with a few loads of washing, our landlord didn’t wanted to purchase an samsung eco bubble washing machine because it is a few pounds more expensive than the broken one and so we dug deep into our pockets and bought this one for ourselves!!!!Yes it was triple the price but totally worth it, first off all WOW, this machine is one of the best purchases that we’ve made this year, OMG!When we had to look for another washing machine I was guided by some basic elements such as the small size of the product body but the large capacity of ... MoreLong story short: this purchase hasn’t been planed at all due to financial issues and due to lack of work because COVID-19, but I and my husband live into a rental house and the previous washing machine (other brand) decided to leave us with a few loads of washing, our landlord didn’t wanted to purchase an samsung eco bubble washing machine because it is a few pounds more expensive than the broken one and so we dug deep into our pockets and bought this one for ourselves!!!!Yes it was triple the price but totally worth it, first off all WOW, this machine is one of the best purchases that we’ve made this year, OMG!When we had to look for another washing machine I was guided by some basic elements such as the small size of the product body but the large capacity of the drum, the components should be made of high-quality materials and have a long life, efficiently, washing time,Due to the harsh water in this area of London the washings were full of lint, but now the way that this one it washes out it’s unbelievable, no more bleach or vanish for whites that’s how good these washes out everything, not to mention the automatic dosing of detergent and conditioner, money saver! The small amount of energy consumption and water per wash it’s very small compared to other brands, although it has the standard dimensions of a washing machine the capacity of 10kg of the drum is huge (biger loads of clothes), the variety of programs is impressive, phone control through the Samsung app is life, at 1600rpm is so silent that can wash in the late evenings or early mornings without bothering the neighbours or the house mates! The eco bubble, bubble soak and quick drive technology, add wash... I’m speechless....There would be a lot more to say, but I could not describe everything here...Overall it’s worth all the money and it’s ours too!I hope that in the near future we you will be able to buy the matching dryer as well.
This came as replacement of my 14 years old whirlpool washing machine. First the 10kg its only marketing joke. It can't handle that and it will try to spin for ages. You need to stop ,remove some wet clothes and spin. The old one was taking 7/8kg and always spin perfectly. The other thing is that touch dispaly. I don't know if its only me but I can't disable it or this is just not possible. The machine is ON you will just walk by and touch the display( ON/OFF) with your body or clothes that you wear and the washing machine will turn itself off. Why this is so sensitive?? I'm sure when you press ON it should disabled the display in some way to avoid that... Not really happy about this one...If i will have to change i will think twice if before choosing samsung again.
When deciding which appliances to buy for our new apartment, my husband and i went with Samsung for all of them and we couldn't regret it more! 2.5 years after moving in ALL of them have shown defect:- Samsung dishwasher, been serviceed 2 times already and is currently not even functioning- Samsung smarthub fridge: been service once, lately makes super loud weird noise so we're just waiting for it to crash basically- Saamsung washer/dryer: door is leaking a little, but repairmen said it cannot be fixed other than replace the whole door which means 1/2 price of a new one, so we just let it be (luckily the floor is tiles not wood)- Samsung cooking stove: crashed twice to the point of having to turn on/off the main fuse. Other than that works fine.- Samsung oven: ... MoreWhen deciding which appliances to buy for our new apartment, my husband and i went with Samsung for all of them and we couldn't regret it more! WORST mistake. Stick to Mielle or Bosch, it will be way cheaper and less stressful.
