It is maybe due to the difference of period of product, one year and only at my lap. Anyway, I am very satisfied at this Samsung memory. Recent purchase. Card works perfectly as described. Extremely fast read / write speeds. Huge 64GB capacity memory able to handle all my photos, music albums and still vast spare capacity available. Claims to be water proof, magnet proof, temperature proof and X Ray proof, with a ten year warranty - only time / use will verify these. Very competitive price, so delighted at present with this purchase.

Good price, good name brand but sd card can't decide whether it likes my music or not.
11 January 2018

Purchased the 64gb EVO plus class 10 micro sd card for my Galaxy S4. It replaced a Toshiba 16gb sd card. Each folder of music I tried to transfer over represented about 20 songs each. Problem #1 - Transferring 5 folders at once confused the sd card and instead of getting 100 songs done, it retrieved about 7-10 from each folder. I decided to transfer over each folder individually. Problem #2 - When playing various songs from different folders, they skipped as if they were being fast forwarded but glancing at the running time revealed that it was time was going by every second as if there was nothing wrong. Problem #3 - Songs from folders that played without problems on Monday were doing something different on Thursday. Message displayed on Thursday..." Problem #3 - Songs from folders that played without problems on Monday were doing something different on Thursday. Message displayed on Thursday..." Player does not recognize the type of audio file". Monday it recognized it but now three days later it doesn't? Erasing and transferring over, restarting phone, removing the battery, removing sd card, formatting before reinstalling does nothing to change problems. What DOES correct it you might ask? Transferring the music over to the phone's memory instead of the sd card. Then it behaves like it should. The former sd card is a Toshiba 16 GB. I have about 70 GB of music to transfer so the 64GB plus the phone's 16GB should give meenough storage. I don't know if the 64GB size is a problem for the S4 but the SAMSUNG website says that the max upgrade is to a 64GB card. To me that means that it WILL work. Now don't know if I should only have gotten a 32GB card or maybe a 64GB card by someone OTHER than SAMSUNG. You'd think that their own sd card would give good results. Not this time. I am tired of filling up my sd card and thinking everything's okay only to find out later that 50% of newly transferred music won't play just because its a different day and the card cannot read something it read just two days earlier To me this SAMSUNG 64GB card is CRAP. Does the problem exist because the phones capacity is more likely 32GB for the sd card? Should I get a Toshiba 64GB card? Perhaps brand wont matter and the size is just big enough to confuse my S4. Anyone have GOOD luck with this same card on an S4?

Great speeds on Micro SD Card
9 April 2016

This is a great card. I needed to get one so that I could fill it with music to listen to whilst at work. This fits the bill nicely. I have a cheap phone that I bought a while back that I only use for media consumption, and I do have a regular phone with actual service tied to it. The media phone I use paired with this card gives me great results. I can listen to music for two whole weeks without re-charging my phone. I know that that actually has nothing to with the card itself, but what I am getting at is that I used to own an Ipod, and I would have to charge that thing everyday and would not even get a full day out of it. Granted this was quite some years ago, and it was an ipod classic with a HDD inside of it, which I know drains quite a bit of battery. I'm ... MoreThis is a great card. Even better for the price I purchased it at!

Memory cards I can trust

Perfect for my Huawei Honor 5x
10 May 2017

It plays well with my Honor 5x. It is fast, reliable, and large enough for my needs. Be sure that you check your card with H2Testw on all cards that you get from eBay. By using H2Testw, you can be sure that you are getting a card with the right capacity and that will write and read at the manufacturers advertised speed. I have purchased several cards from eBay when the card stated a higher capacity, but was hacked to look larger. Those hacked cards did not read and write at the advertised speed and was generally a 2, 4, or 8 GB card hacked to read as larger capacity, e.g., 64GB, 128GB, but was actually an 8GB or less. If you get a genuine card, you will be happy. Get a hacked card and you will not.

Samsung Micro SD Cards. Super Reliable!
20 March 2016

I was perusing the weekly Best Buy ad email and saw these micro sd cards on sale. Since I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy S7 "Love It BTW" and Samsung brought back expandable storage "Thank You Samsung!" I thought I would pick one up. I went to my local Best Buy and found an empty location and asked the girl working the Samsung Experience area and she said they showed 7 in stock. She quickly went and found them and restocked the shelf. She then proceeded to ring me up and said "Oh look it shows $20.99 not 25.99" to which I said to myself "woohoo my lucky day" and was off. Okay, enough about my buying experience, but I find people always take time to tell about a bad buying experience but never the good. Surprisingly Better Than I Expected
28 February 2016

I went looking for this product because it was on sale. It wasn't on the shelves but I noticed a similar product that wasn't on sale but was comparable in price and went to the nearest desk and asked the difference... he laughed, reached into a stack of the sale items, put it in my hand and said THAT'S the one you want. I asked, but whats the difference? He said the reading and writing speed is way better on THIS one (The Samsung EVO) I thought in my head, 'It can't be THAT different.' I took his word for it and after some time decided to put into my tablet and downloaded some movies 14 GB of movies. It took less than half the time it would've taken with my older card. I' haven't watched anything I've stored on it yet, so I cant comment on the Reading speed. but if it's anything like the writing speed, I'm sure I'll have no trouble! Samsung has yet to prove me wrong when I say they make top of the line products and is a very underrated company. Great for the money, Highly Recommend! Word of advice - this thing is SMALL so be careful not to lose it! I recommend saving the package it came in, cutting it in half - I prefer to keep it in it's adapter, in half of the case it came in so as not to lose them amongst the mess that is my desk! Enjoy!

dead card, samsung service disappointing

i bought this samsung card to go with my samsung phone for maximum compatibility and bought it from bestbuy to ensure authenticity. currently on a work project in europe, i was eager to insert the card to add more music but sadly it would not write. i contacted samsung on their site, chatted with an agent who walked me through verification and tests, who then informed me that it is a bad/dead card and i have to send it back, but only in the US. this card is supposed to be a heavy duty one, "backed by four-proof protection and can withstand up to 72 hours in seawater, extreme temperatures, airport X-ray machines and magnetic fields equivalent to an MRI scanner", but sadly, not a dead one. they can't help me with a memory card for a mobile phone because i am mobile ... Morei bought this samsung card to go with my samsung phone for maximum compatibility and bought it from bestbuy to ensure authenticity. currently on a work project in europe, i was eager to insert the card to add more music but sadly it would not write. i contacted samsung on their site, chatted with an agent who walked me through verification and tests, who then informed me that it is a bad/dead card and i have to send it back, but only in the US. this card is supposed to be a heavy duty one, "backed by four-proof protection and can withstand up to 72 hours in seawater, extreme temperatures, airport X-ray machines and magnetic fields equivalent to an MRI scanner", but sadly, not a dead one. they can't help me with a memory card for a mobile phone because i am mobile for work in europe - isn't that the definition of mobile? now i have to wait until october to see if i can get it taken care of at bestbuy. having been a faithful samsung customer, i will skip the note 8 and will look into another brand who might provide better service. hopefully bestbuy will give me a replacement card when i get back in the fall, fingers crossed.
