Technically, this is true, but only because any number between 0 and 130 can be considered UP TO 130. I will credit Samsung for its phrasing of "UP TO" involving transfer speed. It is not a lie, it's just unlikely to happen. In the same context, everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time.

I have used Samsung products for a long time and this Micro SD card is just another great product to have. I have a Samsung phone with the expandable Micro Sd card slot and with this card it is much faster than the previous versions. I take a lot of pictures and videos and 512gb is the minimum I needed to use when I am on vacation. When I am on vacation I sometimes do not have access to the cloud and using the expanded memory it gives me the freedom to take both pictures and video without a worry of running out of space. I also have an action camera so if I am doing an activity as scuba diving, parasailing or anything in between, this card has enough space, it is fast as well to keep up and I do record in 4k.The card is reliable and works great. *I received this product for a discount in exchange for my honest opinion.* I purchased this to replace an older (several years older) microSD card that I used in my original Nintendo Switch, which I replaced with the new OLED version. Since most of my games are digital, I was experiencing lag with the older card that is essentially non-existent now with my new EVO Select + Adapter microSDXC card. I couldn't be happier. I did a side-by-side comparison with some of my games and noticed a big increase in improvement with the newer card. The transfer speeds were smooth and fast while moving from card-to-card via my laptop. Samsung has always been my go-to for microSD cards and they continue to impress me with this new card.

This is my first Samsung SD experience. I have nothing but good things to say about this deceptively small sized in stature but large in storage micro SD card. It is a brand I trust, and is seamless into my devices. I tried this in a DSLR and my drone. The read/write of my AV media was fast and without error or issue. The color of this micro SD and adapter was a plus since it is white and easy to spot among a sea of black electronic devices/cables, etc. It stands out with a pretty design as well. This is a high performance micro SD with adapter for high definition media in any compatible device. I would recommend it to anyone looking to store/transfer large files from photos, to videos to and from their respective devices.
As far as I'm concerned, there is no other brand to purchase. Try as I might to find a different brand to like, I just can't. Nearly every piece of tech I own at this point is Samsung. Phone, Watch, Ear buds, Laptop, Tablet, TV. So call me biased but nothing comes close overall.I have purchased 4 of these MicroSD cards in various sizes for filming a YouTube channel. I have used them for drone footage, regular camera footage in phones and actual camera equipment, Night Vision equipment as well as Thermal optics. Amazing fast storage, little compression most of the time, and blazing fast write speeds.It may cost more than competitors, Ok I got it. Just pay the few extra bucks and be happy the first time. Buy once, Cry once.
having gone from typical, that is, smaller capacity, and speed, i was blown away by the specs on this sd media card. i was able to use this in my amateur drone flights to capture video and photos in high definition and 4k resolution. the technology behind this micro sd allows for transfer from the drone to the computer for editing while keeping the video quality. i was pleased with the fast transfer speeds, in spite of the size of the files i was moving. this small and strong micro sd is able to get the job done, and i feel i may not have even pushed it to the limit. i ran it for about an hour total flight time and brought home to upload and edit. it feels sturdy and well built. i would recommend this to anyone for their portable storage needs.
Used this card less than 6 months in my note 20 Ultra before it quit. Sometimes it will register as read only but most of the time nothing. If it does register it doesn't give me time to retrieve my data before it quits. Such a disappointment as I paid $50 for it in November 2021. I just had to get a replacement Note 20 and was hoping my card reader was bad on the old one but that isn't the case. It won't work in the new one either and I NEVER removed it from the phone before it quit. I think I'll go back to SanDisk.
Bought this card a year ago. A couple of months later i finally used it with a dual card reader I got off of amazon. After transferring data from one card to this one I used it on my desktop and got corruption issues. Contacted Samsung and their Customer Service got in touch with me within a day or two. After filling out all my info and sending in pictures I got an RMA. I send in my old card and received a new one within a few weeks. PLEASANTLY surprised by SAMSUNG and the WARRANTY. I found out another one of my samsung cards that was used in the dual card reader got corrupted. The card reader was at fault. Be careful in using card readers from amazon. Got a Lexar dual Card reader now.
I've used many sd cards, flash drives etc in my 32 years as an IT Professional, the most reliable are Samsung, Toshiba, and sandisk are also 3rd in line. check for the data transfer speeds if you need to transfer or backup. I backup on at least 3 places in case a device fails. my late wifes pictures are on my Samsung sd card as well as other places. If it's important don't skimp, buy the bestR. The same thing happened to me 3 years after bought the device stopped working. could not format it or write to or delete files from a device or a computer. ran a sector test on it test came up ok. ran other tests on all test passes. but the device is still stuck can see current data on it but can't do anything with it. the phone that was in the works, and I put in a ScanDisk 128 card, and it works fine. from the other comments, this card model and size is a lemon.
