But for some reasons just now, December 2, ayaw na mag charge. And I bought this literally last month lang. I tried to get intouch with them kasi nga official store "kuno" sila hoping to get some kind of resolutions . But I didn't get any responses. Sad. This phone was a gift to my niece for having good grades. Sayang ng pera. Sana honest nalang kayo na parang pull out version or refurbished version tong mga phones na binibenta niyo. It's just the phone itself is disappointing. Again if anyone is reading this, BE MINDFUL SA STORE NA TO. It may say "Official Store" but it wont guarantee your really buying the real ones. Save you money and go to a physical store nalang. I bet mas maganda pa ang after service.

Camera delay and issues with Google maps

The phone has all basics and is easy enough to use, but will be swapping to an alternative as the camera has a delay when taking the photo. If you can trial it in store I recommend that you do. When you press the button to take the photo, it will take the shot three seconds later. People/ have moved by the time the photo has been taken. Very frustrating!Furthermore, also had issues with Google maps a week into using it. Not as good as it seems

I bought this phone about 3 weeks ago and while I initially thought it was a great phone I have come to be more than dissapointed. Upon researching the phone specs, there is no noticeable mention of the missing NFC technology. Who creates a phone in todays almost cashless society without the ability to leave the wallet and card behind and still make purchases.I loved the idea of the high quality camera with great megapixel specs. However, the phone only produces dull and dreary images, despite the lighting. What use is a high megapixel camera that cannot capture even close to the correct colours and contrast.I've been a long term Samsung lover, but this time I'm annoyed that I wasted money on this sub par smart phone.

Poor - don’t buy

Poor. For a start, the A05S does not even come with a charger cable. When switched on the new user is inundated with loads of apps - most of which I didn’t need or want. When using the search app, unlike my previous Samsung phone, you are subjected to loads of very annoying “trending” suggestions and I am yet to discover how to get rid of them (even if it’s possible). I can’t even find out how to set spell checker rather than prescriptive text. When I tried to register the phone for warranty purposes it was a real rigmarole and then kept refusing to recognise the serial number. After a wasted couple of hours I managed to find a phone number for Samsung CS who told me it wasn’t necessary - just hang on to the purchase receipt! (the quality of the sound on their phone left much to be desired - it sounded as if the rep was talking in a tunnel (so much for Samsung phones). The phone comes with basic set up instructions and no user manual (I am yet to find one online). I thoroughly regret the day when I bought the phone - my advice is don’t buy one and get a different make.

Simple phone, large screen, disappointing tech

I have had Samsung phones for over 10 years now, starting with Galaxy Minis, an A3, A5 and an A40. These phones were all the budget samsung phones but all were amazing. The only reason I got a new one was because the back of my A40 fell off after 4 years of service.This A05s feels like a complete downgrade. The tech is dated, cameras are nothing short of terrible and there are a magnitude of features missing, including the compass. Since getting the phone half a year ago, it seems to have slowed significantly.I'm also not one to save photos or have a bunch of apps, yet i was promoted that my storage was getting low (first time in 10 years).Whilst the screen is noticeably bigger, it is in fact too big. A great feature is the ability to 'shrink' the screen size so that you can easily access all 4 corners with one hand.The finger print on the side is also a nice feature but this is again a downgrade from the back finger print of my A40 in my opinion. The back finger print also allowed you to swipe to expand the shortcut bar at the top; a feature this phone again lost.The price is attractive compared to the premium phones of today; however, I wish I would have spent a bit more on a better phone.In short, I cannot wait to replace this phone when the next line of budget phones are released.

Sound quality through earpiece when making a calls very poor and not fit for purpose although operates fine via Bluetooth or earphones. Problem compromises ability to have a proper conversation not experienced with any previous Samsungs. Advised by both Spark and NL uhat sound is consistent with price paid (which is nonsense) yet have no problem with previous less expensive Samsungs. Checked twice by Samsung technicians and fault not identified therefore denied replacement or refund. Personally believe this is a one off fault but have gone back to my AO5 and wouldn't even give this away. Poor customer relations by NL and phone good for the bin unfortunately. decent phone for me.

Not sure how it compares to other phones but it's much better than my old one. My first ever new (entirely chosen by me) phone. I'm used to getting hand me down phones my whole life, the past one being one that barely lasted an hour of use on the battery. This one lasts quite a while, I still have a third of the battery left by the time I come home. I don't have to worry about limiting GPS usage due to my phone dying. Big fan of being able to physically plug earphones in. I'm not too big a fan of is how sensitive the fingerprint button is and the camera takes a full 1-3 seconds before capturing an image. Which is fine if I'm taking landscapes, however a cat prone to moving when a phone is pointed at them proves to be frustrating.It's making me choose what describes ... MoreNot sure how it compares to other phones but it's much better than my old one.
