You get a resonance that is wonderful to hear when streaming.It is very handy on this device, as with later Samsung devices, to have all the hard buttons on the right side of the device. This prevents one from accidentally invoking another feature, such as Bixby, when grasping the phone.You will see lots of reviews discussing the camera features, which I use, but I am going to talk about accessibility features, since hardly any review features these.I use the TalkBack screen reader with the device, and Samsung's TalkBack has come a long way since its troubling debut early last year. They have already come out with an updated TalkBack version on the heels of Google's latest iteration, and now, I find no difference in performance, although Google's version 12.2 has a couple extra features, such as an image recognition feature and eliminating volume buttons slider control, substituting with an up or down scroll finger swipe.As of a couple days ago, the Samsung TTS version is on a parr with the flagships, a request I first put in when I got my A53. I learned that these updates come sllightly later to mid-range phones, such as the A53.The only other change I would make to the phone is to increase the haptic intensity, but certainly not a deal breaker, just a preference. To a sighted person, tactile haptic feedback is like visual screen intensity.The phone functions quickly and efficiently, and is a great work horse. I like a phone to do what I want it to do, when I want it to. I have over 100 apps on my phone and operate out of the apps tray, as I have it organized alphabetically, and don't allow app additions to my home screen. I use the home screen as a landing page for my time and weather widget, and let the phone do the organizing for me which has saved me countless hours deciding about and organizing home screens.In summary, unless you have to have a flagship, or prefer the bigger screen, you will be pleasantly surprised with the A53 and glad of the purchase. Should Samsung take away any more features, other than the SD card slot from their mid-ranger or budget phones, Samsung and I will part company after eight years.But for now, I am a "happy camper."

Another major issue is that I hope Samsung could add some necessary accessories like a charger (either the latest one or a 15W charger is also enough), transparent casing, and a screen protector, just like back in 2019 when I purchased the Galaxy A50, and get everything I need. This is vital because this action will attract a lot of potential consumers and reduce plenty of expenses for existing consumers like us.Nevertheless, the Galaxy A73 5G still wins my heart because it has tonnes of advantages. The screen itself was extraordinary; it was very smooth, thanks to 120 Hz refresh rates, and it was rich in colour while remaining the perfect size. The handling was superb; it handles well in my hand. Maybe you're worried that the phone will crash while playing games; I'm not sure why, but it's undeniably true that I felt zero lag when I was playing Genshin Impact and set everything in the display settings to the highest. The 256 GB was a big capacity for plenty of us, which means you can save more and more memories into the Galaxy A73 5G without using an SD card. The charging speed was satisfactory, even though I only use the 15-watt charger. Yet this phone comes with Samsung Wallet, which means you can enjoy a more convenient payment method by using it. The Galaxy A73 5G is also equipped with a good camera and has great exploration capabilities.To summarize, this is a great smartphone for you if you want an easy-to-use smartphone with high C/P rates and a budget of around RM 2,000. I think this is one of the best choices in this price range.

This phone is already quite thick and quite heavy so I can see why a metal construction may have made it even heavier as well as more expensive but I think for the price, it wouldn't be unfair to expect metal construction. The fingerprint scanner is also a little slower than the ultrasonic sensor you get in the newer flagship models, and slower than that of what other non-underscreen fingerprint scanners can offer, but it is perfectly usable. The lack of any fast charging (25W only) might prove to be a pain for some people.Now moving onto the good bits, of which there are many! The screen is fantastic. Crystal clear, good colour reproduction, all of the usual advantages of an OLED panel; you get the idea. Its fantastic. The bezels are thicker than other phones and this is a consequence of having to use a cheaper screen assembly, and when viewing a white screen the colour can shift from warm to blue even from only small changes in angle. This isn't obviously noticeable but something you don't tend to see in some OLED panels.It has some decent power behind the scenes aswell, never really stuttering, and with the 120Hz display it feels silky smooth for basically everything I've thrown at it. The dual-firing speakers (top of the display and the bottom) make media consumption really enjoyable, and they sound great!The cameras are excellent and really do come quite close to flagship products. Of course they'll be superseded again by something infinitely better but for the moment they are truly excellent. Sharp, quick, and good colour reproduction make media capture on this a pleasure.Overall I am very happy with it. It might not be the absolute best value at this price but it is certainly very good!

I was looking for a phone that closely matched my requirements for replacing my old phone but could also function as a work phone when needed. With Samsung this is easy with Secure Folder creating that separation between work & play. Here is a summary of what I’ve enjoyed so far / not so much.Battery – This has been great so far, I had it on for over 2 days with medium use without having to charge. With turning on the battery saver mode (limits to 85% charge), this is around one – one and a half days.Screen – Extremely bright and vivid display, flows great with the adaptive screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz. This seems to be more like the display on recent flagships from Samsung (S22/ 23). Get some occasional screen tearing when using the phone at speed, but this ... Indoor low-light photos are really good for the fact the phone is a mid-range phone from Samsung. The scene optimiser as-per other Samsung phones blows out specific colours when taking photos outside, i.e. green grass in the sunlight, therefore I’d recommend disabling scene optimisation setting from within the camera. The zoom is good and provide ability to get decent zoom for lecture halls/ conference events to see text clearly. The image stabilisation as noted by Samsung is decent and works very well for the price range this phone is within.Front-facing Camera – Good quality camera but would recommend adjusting the smoothing function to your preference. Otherwise, the camera provides accurate, decent quality selfies and deals well with multiple people in the photo.Build-Quality – The phone itself it a lot thicker than I expected, but that doesn’t distract you from the fact it is a well-built and solid phone with decent water-resistance (so I won’t worry about the phone getting a bit wet when navigating in Scottish weather)Audio Quality – Both Bluetooth and physical speaker are good and consistent. The audio quality isn’t too blown out at mid-range to mid-high, full volume on the speaker however can be a little bit distorted.Phone features – The fingerprint reader so far has been quick, accurate and easy to set-up (much easier than the A53 previous generation phone).

This phone is fine for general use AS A PHONE, but if you have a lot of apps that you use on your phone the internal storage gets eaten up fast. Add app updates on top of it and 64 Gig becomes obsolete very quickly. Even with a 128 Gig SD card added, the fact that not all apps in Google's Playstore can be moved to the SD card for storage after downloading them. I've had this phone 11 months now, not even a full year, and I'm now having to delete apps to gain space to continue using the most important ones like banking and emails without dumping an entire data load out of each app and starting over again. That's almost the same thing as a factory reset minus a few steps. Even with deleting apps I'm still running out of room now. I'm seriously considering moving to a different brand of phone because the features and setting controls I need just aren't here. It took Samsung long enough to finally provision their software to move apps back to the SD card after updating them on its own without having to do it manually, my old Kindle Fire had that very provision before Samsung did.....that's sad. Samsung, you are falling behind in innovation and features in your non-folding phones (who in their right mind would want a folding phone after flip phone fiascos of connections breaking between halves from repeated opening and closing?? Did we not learn our lesson about that with flip phones???). I've been a staunch Samsung fan for many many years, that's fading, quickly. Want to know what it would take to keep a heavy user like me as a staunch fan? Come have have a rap session with me and I'll fill you in on the REAL needs of your customers. Until then, stop manufacturing phones with such limited internal storage space and rediculous features...it's embarrassing. In fact, I already ditched my Galaxy watch in favor of going back to Fitbit, the needed features just aren't there.

The Samsung A14, on first appearance the phone is well built, solid and metal casing giving it a nice weight and certainly not a plastic feel. I chose silver and it is a nice colour. The phone is a good size and is a large screen not fully edge to edge but close. On initial startup it loads and gives the usual options of linking to other phones or other cloud based backups which was easy as offers both IOS and Android solutions. I transferred my contacts easily and the phone was up and running after the usual software update within about 20 minutes. In use the phone works well has dual sim slots and Sd card slot for extra storage in the pull out tray. The camera is good given the price tag and takes a good range of photos using the three lenses. The phone can seem to lack speed on some apps in comparison to other models on the market but not sure if this is operating system or processor based lag. Playback of videos is very good and the screen itself is very clear in use. I am not a great gamer but it plays the usual versions of some of my favourites just as well as other phones. The battery life has been very good although I am not running half the social media apps I normally use to see how the phone coped. The only complaint I would have other than the odd bit of Lag in some apps is the home screen scrolling, as trying to get to apps can be a bit confusing as it seems to scroll sideways and up and down so trying to locate some of my Apps is been very frustrating knowing which way to swipe! All in all for the price tags this is a good budget phone, easy to setup, good imaging and plenty of additional storage can be added via the card slot. I just wish they would add a plug for a USB C connector please as it seems everything these days gets supplied with just a cable and no mains adapter or plug unit!

The Galaxy A53 5G, is one of Samsung’s most popular smartphones and is a very good option in the mid-range market by including a high refresh rate display, the latest software, a stylish casing with water protection and a versatile camera system. The Galaxy A52 5G was a very complete phone and became one of the best in its segment. I find The A53 5G series to be a solid upgrade over the A52 5G and it’s a great phone for its price range. However, it doesn’t introduce enough improvements to justify buying it if you already have an A52 5G or another good mid-range phone. Samsung has applied slight changes such as a larger battery, a higher screen refresh rate and changed the design. This allows for seamless app usage, streaming, gaming and all around day to day usage. The A53 5G also has a waterproof casing and an attractive matte back. The strengths are completed by great sounding stereo speakers, a large battery with a relatively fast charging process, a fingerprint scanner under the display that works perfectly. The only gripe to have with Samsung's A53 model is the choice of not including a charger when purchasing the device and the decision to remove the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack.
