Having purchased this phone,I am very happy with the device and its functionalities. The large 6.7 inch screen is extremely impressive and matches well with the phones more-than-all-day battery life (in my case,may differ on how often you use the phone and what you do on it). I got this phone for my mom and was excited about receiving it but to my surprise, the box didn't come sealed and it did not come with the 128GB microSD card the way other people say they got. I was disappointed in that. Makes me wonder if those who ship the phone are stealing the microSD chips. I don't know whether this phone is refurbished or not but when I first held the phone and pressed the button to turn it on, it didn't turn on. It was completely dead. I was somewhat worried that it wasn't going to turn on but I plugged it to charge it and waited until it fully charged. The phone itself is beautiful and it has a beautiful blue luminous color. It's slippery so you need to put a case on it so it won't slip from yours hands. The phone came with a clear plastic ... Good value for money. Phone is brand new in sealed box. Very happy with the purchase. Only thing I was worried about when buying was that the add mentioned these are international stock. After phone arrival the language and keyboard setting was set to Vietnam. All I had to do was to change language and keyboard settings to English UK. and delete Vietnam from the selection. Since than all working good. Battery when fully charge lasts me 2-3 days with some internet and media use. with little use it goes to 4-5 days. So overall good looking phone with large screen.
I only buy Samsung phones, TV's and tablets but this is the most disappointing phone I've ever had. Was great for the first 12 to 15 months, and I am a heavy user so perhaps that's how long it's supposed to last. Phone has started to really slow down even after a factory reset and new battery. My advice would be to stay away from a used one and if you purchase a new A70, don't expect more than 12 months of reliability. They are about 50% cheaper now so if you want a solid large screen phone for 12 months then this might be for you if you can get a new one for a good price.

I was shocked to find that out! PLUS, this A70 phone came with a 128 SD card! Free! That's about $50 value right there! I don't know if all dealers sell the A70 phone with the SD card. I don't think the SD card was mentioned in this dealer's ad, but I did read in some other ads, that some A70s were packaged with the free SD card. So that was a very nice surprise to find it in the box with this phone! The phone comes with a wall charger and earphones. AND it was exactly like one reviewer stated... I just took my SIM card out of my old LG6 (which proved to be another good phone for me, by the way, but the LG8 with more memory was higher priced than the A70). All my data transferred and backed up, Samsung also has an app where I was able to transfer from old phone to new, in case I might have missed something, that wasn't on the SIM card. Only 1 issue I haven't figured out yet. I called Samsung and they said to contact my carrier, ATT, which I still need to do (waiting for when I have an extra hour to spare before I get on the phone with ATT! lol) The only thing is, when I send or receive MMS (group texting), I have to turn on my DATA. MMS will not send or receive on Wifi or my voice plan. With my LG6 this was not a problem. So, it's not a big deal, but it's a bit of an inconvenience to have to turn on Data when I want to send or receive a group text. (I do not wish to use Facebook messaging for text messages). If anyone out there has a suggestion on the MMS, I'd appreciate it! HOPE MY REVIEW HELPS!
Pros: Lovely to use, does not feel as big in my hand as I expected, which is great. It's lovely to hold being fairly thin. Lovely screen, fast and slick to use. Samsung SmartSwitch moved everything across from my old S7 Edge without problems. Cons: Slightly disappointed in the camera, as this was my main reason for upgrading. Photos not quite as eye-catching as I had hoped. But I'm still getting used to it and can maybe improve on sharpness and colour. The native app seems to do a reasonable job on basic editing. Camera is good enough for day-to-day shots but I suspect I won't be getting rid of my Sony pocket camera just yet.

I was between ip8 and a70 for a good time,but i decided to go with the less expensive choice and it was correct choice for my usage. OneUI is so goodly optimized it just works like a charm,camera's are great (not perfect but usable for most situations the lack of OIS,EIS is a minus,but still can be used to get really nice pictures),fingerprint sensor is laggy and cannot remember more than 3 prints which is a definetelly a minus! Screen brightness is really good and adjustable for any situations. from this screen i see things out in the sunlight which is a huge plus too. Also there is a blue light filter and a night mode. there is so much settings that can be done for optimizing viewing experience for every situation that i wont going to list all of them here. Battery lasts really long and with power saving settings you can make it last for days! For my usage i charge the phone when i sleep and end of the day i still have around 15 to 25% battery left and i dont even use power savings usually. I only use it when im on a long trip or in an area that i cannot charge my device. I watch around 3 hours of videos/movies daily and other content like facebook,instagram,whatsapp,snapchat,some web pages. and my screen brightness is often quite high. For me 16hrs without power saving on is really good and 25w charger fills it up really fast. On the outside,there isnt much...this gasoline mixed in water looking back isnt anything stunning..its a big phone with a huge screen not much else. I highly recommend buying a cover because the back panel is really slippery being plastic and all. Also volume contol buttons and lock button is really clicky with good switches so they are nice to use. (not like usually those buttons feel like pressing you finger in a water Its not perfect,but those flaws are minor and overall experience is much better than ever before. Androids gesture controls etc. makes it fun and easy to use. I highly recommend this device to all who wants a premium phone for a really low price

The future has not yet changed during the month of ownership, but I can vouch for its excellent performance, great storage capacity, overall quality of user interface and seamless utilisation. For me, the large screen size and form factor rarely get in the way. If there is one niggle, then it is cost-cutting with the on-screen fingerprint sensor that more often does not recognize rather than does, so I have reverted to other identification options. Also the autocorrect intervenes the first time with sometimes in an unintended way, but if the phrase repeats for he second time, it has usually learnt its tricks.
