(It will revert back if you ignore it long enough though.) That can be annoying sometimes. Also, it has buggy reminder notifications. If I have a reminder at 3pm, I sometimes receive that reminder at odd times later in the day. Though my phone is always on time, the watch not so much.Bottom line: my first 2 smartwatches were samsung. This is like the first one: it can't talk and it can't hear. I don't mind that, because most of that sort of interaction with my apple watch was done in the kitchen--set a timer, or add something to my shopping list. I now have a Google nest in my kitchen that can hear and talk and perform these hands-free tasks for me. The reminder bug has me re-thinking my choice, however. I turn 60 next month, and find myself relying on reminders more frequently. Or not, if the bugs are brain food in disguise maybe I'll keep it.I bought one for my son-in-law. Like I told him, it will start in another language, but just download the app, which is in English, and follow the app--which will, correct the language on the watch.I do wish they sold the apple and fitbit type of band for these. That is the only thing I really miss a lot. Tucking the band inside chaffes my wrist, and the traditional buckle I don't care for. Sure, it can be worn looser, but does this affect measurements taken by the sensors? Also, the heart rate isn't always accurate. In general it's pretty good. I'm a licensed nurse and know how to take my heart rate. Sometimes the watch shows it 20 or more points higher than it really is. It also seems to rely on past results in its interpretation of current results. I recently had an electrolyte imbalance, such as dehydration can increase the heart rate. After having a day or so of higher than normal heart rate, the watch seemed to have trouble going back to my normal resting heart rate for a day or so. In other words, the heart rate seems like it isn't like an objective measurement you get when you put your fingers on your wrist. It seems to be a combination of AI interpretation. It's good, but not perfect. Probably why they say do not use for medical advice?

Disappointed, rather buy the Fit2

I have used this for a month now and the only reason it is not rated 1/2 stars is because the sleep coaching, stress and heart rate trackers are so good.BUT the software for the step counter has truly taken a step back from its predecessor, the Fit2. The phone and watch are tied together in the step counter so that means if your watch says 15K steps and your phone says 1K steps then the steps sync to the phone as a default and it becomes 1K. You would think the watch would be the source of truth but not. I have seen many people complain and it seems that the solution is to turn off the physical activity tracker for the phone but that stops you from being able to participate in step challenges.Samsung has always produced products that stand the test of time. A human cannot survive on 20min deep sleep per night, but supposedly I do, which is incompatible with living. Again, never had that with Fitbit.- strange stress measurement, it's either super high, or super low, never in between.- if your phone is not a Samsung phone, it's a nightmare to set up the apps. It takes minimum 2 (!!!) to 3 apps to connect the watch and the phone, no jokes. One app to watch the watch, one app to connect the watch, one app to sync your previous data with your current state. Glitching of course. Never had that with Fitbit.- the Samsung app is glitchy. Also it gives weird reminders with links that are not supported or don't lead anywhere.- Both apps fails to tell in advance when the battery is low. Only sends a reminder when the battery is around 3% to 1%.- Did I mention low precision? It could be its middle name.I'll switch back to Fitbit as soon as I'll go abroad.Overall, Samsung fit3 watch is merely a patchy-glitchy prototype, not a real thing.

Exactly what I wanted

if you are looking for something for health and fitness and for a great price, I highly recommend it! I have had the apple watch, and I understand that some ppl want to be able to do everything on their phones, and hikers really like the GPS feature. I just wanted something that tracked my steps, workouts, water intake, and sleep tracking. I do get notifications of incoming text and calls. I like that I can't respond back. The battery life is amazing! it supposed to last 13-14 days for me that is not the case. I have had it on for a full 7 day week period with display off, and im currently at 13% , so i like that i dont have to charge it every night or every other night. I highly recommend it!

Hi...I've been a fan of samsung smart watches...so this is my first band...I looked at reviews, not sure how it would be like, but I decided to buy it...The band is nice to wear, very easy to connect (only if you know your way around the apps and which ones to download as there is so many plugins!) and a cool swipe screen. The notifications are a bit annoying as it keeps saying permissions needed to get a good connection, so a lot of searching, but eventually got there, also had to switch off the phone to clear the problem. Other watches/bands I tried would not stay connected as it was an Oppo phone and your not made aware of this as it says on some types that it can pair with any phone.Happy to say the pairing was good and reconnecting to the Oppo is working ... MoreHi...I've been a fan of samsung smart watches...so this is my first band...I looked at reviews, not sure how it would be like, but I decided to buy it...The band is nice to wear, very easy to connect (only if you know your way around the apps and which ones to download as there is so many plugins!) and a cool swipe screen. The notifications are a bit annoying as it keeps saying permissions needed to get a good connection, so a lot of searching, but eventually got there, also had to switch off the phone to clear the problem. The heart tracker is a bit over...so it would be cool for that to be fixed as it was one of the reasons I wanted this band. There seems to be no power indication, so that could be a problem if your running and the band is out of power. All in, the band has a lot of potential, for the price, the tracking and being able to do something with the text and calls is awesome too👍👍👍

Solid watch that has lasted 3 years. This watch has all the core fitness features and has held up really well over 3 years. I’ve used both iPhones and Androids with this watch and both work fine with it. Surprisingly, to pair this device to Android was quite difficult compared to how easy it was on iPhone. The bands are fairly durable and have held up well over 3 years. Nowhere near as much wear-and-tear as my Apple Watch band has had over the past few months. Have gone swimming in the sea and in pools countless times with this watch and have had no issues, but at a water park the Fit2 of a family member went dead but Argos replaced it with a new one as it was still under warranty. Have had no issues since.Overall good basic fitness tracker but don’t expect Apple ... MoreSolid watch that has lasted 3 years. This watch has all the core fitness features and has held up really well over 3 years. Simply problematic
11 September 2024

Some time in August (2024), I purchased 2 Galaxy Fitbit 3 watches. They were timely delivered and they look great for their value. However the functionality comes into question. Both watches seemingly do not selectively synchronize data such as running with the phone. Troubleshooting the watch, app and phone does not seem to work. To make it worse, my watch does not record floor changes and given that I walk up 4 flights of stairs everyday, one would assume it would inaccurately pick one floor but it doesn't. We have so far ruled out updates, phone pairing and sweat between the skin and watch. I have also tried pairing the watches to different phones but this does not work. It's frustrating to think that you are getting quality gadgets from a trusted supplier only ... MoreSome time in August (2024), I purchased 2 Galaxy Fitbit 3 watches. It's frustrating to think that you are getting quality gadgets from a trusted supplier only to get problematic devices from the get-go.
