AT&T doesn't really unlock their phones, they cripple key features like LTE/VoLTE, and leave a lot of AT&T mess around on their "unlocked" phones. In particular, such phones won't work in countries like India which require VoLTE. How this crippling isn't a major antitrust violation, I'll never know. The seller is deliberately withholding the former carrier in its description.

I use a Note 9 currently and I really enjoyed it the first couple years I've had it. It worked well in the beginning, decent photos, easy to use. I am disappointed that in the past year I've constantly had issues with it. The worst is trying to speak with anyone. Phone will randomly go to speaker without showing it's on speaker. Mid phone call people will start coming in sounding super slurred/voice altered, and Bluetooth constantly drops. I have a couple friend with the same phone and same issues, so I know it's the phone in general. Wouldn't recommend the Note 9 anymore, definitely go with something more up to date.

Well, the thought of purchasing "gently used", "second-hand" or "refurbished" items involves doubts when you are talking about quality. No one wants to get stuck with someone else's trash right? We think, "What were the reasons THEY got rid of it?!"I was pleased when I received my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 2 days before the estimated delivery date! The phone arrived in perfect condition, use and operation are flawless, simple SIM transfer with instant set up! Unfortunately, the back began to crack down the side leading to cracks on the front which compromises the screen activity. Purchased a fully protective case to avoid further damage. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE WHO PURCHASES A REFURBISHED DEVICE!!You get what you pay for! Appreciative and very Grateful!

I've owed my note 9 for 18 month's and never really had any problems with it. Only thing I'm upset about is updates for a phone not over 2 year's old. I'm more than happy to update every few year's as the note will last if it's looked after, my note 5 is still going to this day. If I wanted to take advantage of watching high quality movies I'm simply not going to be doing it on a 7 inch screen? Isn't that why we have laptops and tablet's TV.And please don't even start me on the note 20 stock not the ultra because sumsung did no justice... 60 hz screen same as note 9, battery isn't good enough, it's a 1500 hundred dollar phone made completely of plastic apart from the metal sides! They couldn't make the fan edition of the s20 to much better for the price just no s pen is really the only difference and maybe just maybe a better phone at near half the price brand new it's so confusing what sumsung are doing and after all my hifi stuff is made by sumsung and I buy there products as I trust in the quality from past experiences... it's really troubling to be honest.And everyone is holding on to there note 8s there 9s because of all the reason I've mentioned above. Every second comment is someone saying ill be holding onto my device for another year or 2. I would hate to see the money they are loseing, the pushed people to but offering me 480 dollars for my note to buy a 20 ultra plus free earbuds and another 250 off for something else aswell which bought the price down to around $1350 which still wasn't enough for me to take a drop in battery performance among other thing's. I dropped my beloved Note 9 for the umpteenth time the other day and it caught the edge of a bowl beside my chair on a carpeted floor. Yup, took a chunk out of the glass and the image starting fading in and out. Love the Note 9 for two main reasons: The stylus, and the Note 9 is the last version with a headphone jack.Long story is that I ordered this replacement and challenge anyone to see it and tell me it's not a brand new phone. Super impressed, and 4 day delivery (free). Highly recommended.
I am using this phone in 2024. It's a nice phone for sketching and digital painting. I haven't had any issues with it aside from the one time it gave a false alert that the USB port was wet and had to reset my battery options in safe mode. The screen cracks pretty easily where it curves. I have had to replace my Note 9 several times for this issue. I will say, I went through psychosis back in 2020 and thought smartphones were absorbing our consciousness. So I set my Note 9 on fire. Once the phone cooled off from being set ablaze, the phone worked just fine. So if looking for a flame resistant device, this is a good option.
