Samsung Galaxy Note9 (128GB, Ocean Blue)

This was on the pricey side when I purchased this about 4 years ago. But 4 years is the longest a phone has ever lasted me without the need to upgrade so that says a lot! I like that it's unlocked and I can travel virtually anywhere and use it with no issues internationally. It somes with a stylus pen which I don't feel the need to use, however the storage space seems never-ending which is awesome since I take and post a lot of pics and videos! The quality is amazing. It really is. I'm really happy with this phone and have decided that when it's time to replace it, I'm going to replace it with the same exact one with the latest model. I highly recommend this phone.

Samsung beat the iPhone in the ground when it came to literally everything in my opinion. Samsung wasn't afraid to shake things up and try something new, where Apple always has stuck VERY close to the original iPhone. Granted some people may like that, but I'm not one of them. I particularly loved my Note 9 because of all the cool things I could do with it. The stylus let me write on any screen, the editing software it came with was great, and I loved the "Smart" app that is pre installed so I could attach my phone to anything in my house that would allow it. I can smart view my phone to myth (without wifi) so I can use my mobile data to watch movies if I want. Not to mention that you can still put an SD card in it so you don't have to buy "cloud" space all the time. Theres no contest when it comes to Samsung, its by far the best to me!

Better than most and even than some newer phones in 2022

The technology may assumed outdated by upgrade standards or as I call it " keeping up with the industries JONES" status or the addictive "have to have new persona". In real life , real world of practically, It is the goat. The phone does more, conserves less , and retains the 3.5 plug in capability. The short coming of becoming victim to no access battery was slightly beneficial to a longer life battery and less consumed operating power usage. If you're a geek, you can resolve this by tweaking up an back up system into the hardware. This phone was and still contains the more than enough visual and speed Unless your comparing seconds to milli seconds and have to have the status quote highest rated everything according to numbers. I too would like to have the secrets of antigravity. Just remember. As long as the leash of upgrade syndrome has you addictive to keeping up. Just like all addictions, unless you've had enough and realize it or if you think you need help. Then, do yourself a favor. Stop or seek help because the next upgrade was already made and its going to be a huge price to pay. Unless you're a Bill gates or Elon Musk, your not going to continue the journey and should have quit years ago when you respected yourself and had the common sense of practicality, and gratitude of being humble.

Dont use with ST

I have a Verizon BYOP note 10+ clean imei# it's not blacklisted, I paid for 1 year of service as I do yearly. In the beginning about a year ago Straight talk informed me when I tried adding the note 10+ to my account that the device wasnt supported on the network ( my wifes sim worked in it perfectly fine after setting up the apns ) put my sim from my old phone in and it worked great. Speed up a year lTook my sim card out to try in a friends phone and put my sim back into my phone and service doesnt work and my account is locked. STRAIGHT TALK will not help me but keep telling me that my Note 10+ is not supported on the network even when I tell them it has worked the past year perfectly. It's been 6 hours already today they have had me waiting by my wifes phone for a scheduled call back every 30 minutes just to play games and tell me the same thing and have me power cycle my device 5 times every call. I'm pretty tech savvy with phones i know the service is supported on these devices but they tell me it's not even though I have 1 year of proof lol. Rediculous

Good phone but there is a downside

This phone itself is a good phone for the price you pay for sure. It has great space being a 128GB storage space and runs smoothly. The downside being for 2022 its on the outdated side slightly as Samsung has discounted the note series and they will not being getting anymore updates like their newer phone will. Not only that but sadly the one I got only lasted about 7 months before the top left half of the screen started to pop up and come off so much so you started to be able to see into the phone. And when I noticed that the phone started to slightly over heat so I had to replace my phone to be on the safe side. But that could not happen to everyone so if you want to get a pretty decent phone for the price then this one is a good option if you keep all factors in ... MoreThis phone itself is a good phone for the price you pay for sure. Great....when it works....

Great when it works but I am sure I got a lemon. Seven months after I received the phone the entire display died. Was in for a service for a week before it was fixed. About six weeks ago when I used the speaker during a call, the other person kept hearing a dreadful screeching noise. Received a code from Samsung to get feedback from speaker and the noise was dreadful! Followed Samsung's advice to wipe phone before going on for service and as a result fault could not be identified. Put in "voice of concern " to Samsung who said phone was working fine and to consult other Samsung owners for help. Phone put in for third service due to screeching noise. Last great flagship

I've owed my note 9 for 18 month's and never really had any problems with it. Only thing I'm upset about is updates for a phone not over 2 year's old. I'm more than happy to update every few year's as the note will last if it's looked after, my note 5 is still going to this day. I didn't update to the 20 because of price the fact there is no headphone jack among other thing's and battery is a big thing on a phone and it is just crazy they did a test on the 9 vs 20 ultra and the battery on the old note 9 out lasted the 20 by an hour and a half and it's a brand new phone so how would it go in another 2 year's after hard use? Are sumsung listening to there customers because it dose not feel like it. 2 year's have passed and you want me to buy a phone that will not last along on day to day use. No headphone jack a huge big camera on the back that feels top heavy in hand. Ive looked at countless reviews with people saying the same thing I am right. How can you justify spending 2k on a phone that will not keep up with the abuse my note9 takes and lossing features I need in the process it's just crazy to me. If you sit on your phone watching movies or playing game's than you will like having a 120hz refresh but really how many of us use our phone to watch TV and movies like we would on our at home TV? I understand it makes the phone run alot smoother and thing's will load faster but how many of us out there use our phone as a day to day TV or laptop I ask? I have a TV with a 200hz refresh with q dot tech and my note 9 has Dolby atmos for my music. If I wanted to take advantage of watching high quality movies I'm simply not going to be doing it on a 7 inch screen? Isn't that why we have laptops and tablet's TV.And please don't even start me on the note 20 stock not the ultra because sumsung did no justice... 60 hz screen same as note 9, battery isn't good enough, it's a 1500 hundred dollar phone made completely of plastic apart from the metal sides! They couldn't make the fan edition of the s20 to much better for the price just no s pen is really the only difference and maybe just maybe a better phone at near half the price brand new it's so confusing what sumsung are doing and after all my hifi stuff is made by sumsung and I buy there products as I trust in the quality from past experiences... it's really troubling to be honest.And everyone is holding on to there note 8s there 9s because of all the reason I've mentioned above. Every second comment is someone saying ill be holding onto my device for another year or 2. I would hate to see the money they are loseing, the pushed people to but offering me 480 dollars for my note to buy a 20 ultra plus free earbuds and another 250 off for something else aswell which bought the price down to around $1350 which still wasn't enough for me to take a drop in battery performance among other thing's. I really hope sumsung start listening to there customer's otherwise I'm going to be switching something I never thought i would ever ever do...Wow glad I got that off my chest lol hope it helps someone... just my 2 cents. Last of the old school full featured phones?

This was purchased to replace a Galaxy Note 5 that was unfortunately damaged beyond repair. I do NOT expect this phone to be as durable as the 5, due to the curved "screen edge" design, that replaced a very solid metal chassis rim with fragile glass, but it has expandable memory, which the Note 5 lacks. I am only 2 days into learning my way through the new interface, and I still find it very irritating, but I assume I will get used to it. I am not ready to droip this in the toilet, to see if the standard of waterproofing is up to the Note 5's which survived that test. I may buy a second one just to have a spare on hand, if this one shatters the first time it hits the floor. Perfect in every way

6gb/128gb with up to512gb capacity sd card, pen that allows one to take pictures, videos and much more. Takes great pictures and videos with superior sound qualities. Great size and feel. A very durable product. I do think though, in 2023 it may no longer be supported. So i have read - but, overall it is a great device and could be a great asset in many ways. Fast, memory, camera, video, music and so on. However, if one is looking for a phone compatible with the changes coming then maybe, not the Note9. Hard to find accessories - Amazon still has some. I still find uses for my Windows Phones.
