I love the phone. My only complaint would be the battery life, but I'm not a very heavy user so it's fine for me. My screen on time varies, but I typically only have to charge it every 50ish hours, and that's with Protect Battery on so it's only charging to 85% and I plug it in at around 20%. I bought an Anker 25 watt charger from Amazon and it takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes to charge from 20 to 85 with Fast Charging OFF. Complete guess, probably around 4-6 hours of screen on time. I've also taken a few steps to reduce battery consumption, such as limiting the phone from 120hz to 60hz, turning Ram Plus OFF, and using it in Dark Mode. All in all I'm very happy with the phone. I really like Samsung's phone, especially this s21 for the following reasons. In terms of design, it's quite simple and compact so I can hold it anywhere. The device's performance is fast because I've been using it for 5 years, but it's not slow at all even if I drop it a few times. It's also very durable. The rear window is broken but it still works fine. Also talking about the battery life, it's very durable. I watch shows all day and two days later I charge the battery. Every time I charge the battery, it's also very fast. What I don't like is that the camera is a bit blurry and doesn't look sharp because I rarely take pictures so it's not a big reason for me. In terms of display this phone works quite well

This phone is great for people that like smaller phone. I have had this samsung s21 phone for over 2 years now and it is still working great without problem. Using this phone to take selfie give better images in my opinion as compare to the iphone 12 promax that my boyfriend has. This phone is very light and you can perform most of the task my just 1 hand. I never have problem with iris recognition. It works very well. I used to like the note but they are a little bit big for me with mostly the same functions. Besides, the note had limit number of color while these phone have more color options, which i like. This phone is also cheaper so i didnt have to worry much about losing the phone. I got it during promotion period for tmobile so basically free phone after ... Upgrading from the original Google Pixel (first gen), I am ASTOUNDED by Samsung's superiority in the smart phone market. I purchased Samsung's Galaxy S 21 FE 5G (256gb graphite) on sale from Samsung.com for about $150 off, making it an even better deal. As a computer scientists and photographer, I use and appreciate the countless features Samsung phones have very day. Photography wise, I appreciate the options to change the ISO, shutter speed, focus and white balance manually on pro mode. I can also set the camera to save images in RAW format in the camera settings, which drastically helps post-image editing, especially for astrophotography. I can also set the camera to save images in RAW format in the camera settings, which drastically helps post-image editing, especially for astrophotography. Using my Samsung camera almost feels like using a professional DSLR or mirrorless camera because of the customizable camera features and striking quality. I use these features to take incredible pictures of everything from the Milky Way/night sky to portraits of my loved ones and time lapses of the clouds. For such a low price, no other company could possibly beat Samsung's edge on advanced technology and superior features. The under - display fingerprint sensor is lightning quick and very useful, and the overall design is very pleasing. To this day, even after having it for months, everytime I look at at my phone I notice how beautiful of a phone it is; it looks like a meticulously crafted expensive piece of jewelry. Others seem to think so, too, because I get compliments on it's look all the time. I don't understand why anyone would choose not to buy a Samsung phone because they're the best on the market, especially for their price. In fact, just yesterday one of my iPhone using friends' phone died, and when I showed her I could charge it with my phone by just putting their backs together using the power share feature, she was utterly shocked that such "futuristic" and "amazing" technology existed. She even said she wanted to buy a Samsung smartphone just for that feature. Little does she know, although, about the countless other amazing features that she would discover about Samsungs if she did so; features like Dolby Atmos, multi device connectivity in 'media output' settings, the highly customizable and adaptable Samsung keyboard, etc..Overall, the Galaxy S21 FE is an incredible phone that I highly recommend, especially for the price. In fact, I recommend any Samsung s-series or z-sries phone in general because you cant go wrong with them. The numberless unique features that you will continue to discover about your Samsung phone months later is only one of the many experiences Samung users get that its competitors don't. If you're a photographer, Samsung is definitely the best way to go as it has highly versatile camera features that other companies lack. You can never go wrong with a Samsung. All of the attached photos were taken by me on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G
This phone was great for 10 months. I have never had the battery issues that I see with other reviewers. However, there was an update in early July and ever since my phone randomly freezes and eventually restarts - leaving me without service for sometimes up to 10 minutes. This problem is so embarrassing and has happened several times during important phone calls. This happens sometimes multiple times in a day. My husband has ran several checks for viruses and they always come back negative. It has never been dropped or exposed to water/moisture. We always keep our phones for many years and have never had issues until this one. It is frustrating, exhausting, and scary because I worry that I will need to call 911 (my son has seizures) and have to wait for my phone to ... MoreThis phone was great for 10 months. I have been a satisfied Verizon Wireless customer for decades. We currently have 4 phones on our plan and are very close to upgrading 3 of those. My current phone is the Samsung S21 FE 5G. I've had it for about a year and so I am still paying for it. In the past, when I have traveled overseas, I have signed up for Verizon's International Plan for those devices we bring with us on our trips. Today, I was looking into purchasing an International Plan for an upcoming trip. When I reached the page where it asked which of the 4 devices I will be bringing on my trip, I was surprised to see that only my S21 phone (the newest of the 4) was greyed out, and underneath my phone it read "Does Not Work Outside of the United States" Clicking that, I was further informed that my ... Today, I was looking into purchasing an International Plan for an upcoming trip. When I reached the page where it asked which of the 4 devices I will be bringing on my trip, I was surprised to see that only my S21 phone (the newest of the 4) was greyed out, and underneath my phone it read "Does Not Work Outside of the United States" Clicking that, I was further informed that my only suggested options were to purchase another phone or to bring a different phone. I called Verizon Support. The technician I spoke to confirmed that he also received that same message concerning the S21 FE. The technician showed concern and was friendly, but he didn't have much of an answer or suggestion beyond what I had already saw for myself. I decided to then call Samsung support to see if this particular model was in fact one that only worked in the US, and they indicated that the issue was most likely related to the Verizon network. They suggested that what I should do was have Verizon unlock the phone. I believe that suggestion would mean that I would then have the ability to use a SIM card overseas. Only, what I wanted to use was to use the Verizon Network and the International Plan and not deal with SIM cards. Even if unlocking were my only option, I don't think I now want to take a chance of arriving overseas to find out this phone just won't work over there no matter what I do. I feel I'm left with no choice but to get another phone even though I've barely paid for this one. I am extremely upset that Verizon would advertise a phone as a suggested replacement option, and not at all mention that this particular phone when on their network can't be used outside of the United States. That is not at all an insignificant feature for someone who travels. There should be big bold letters specifying information as critical as this. Instead there was nothing to indicate this anywhere. I think Verizon should allow me to purchase a new phone, and forgive me what I owe on this phone. I shouldn't have to find out in this way that my phone only won't work at all outside of the United States. I'm sure anyone who also purchased this phone from Verizon would not have known this about this limitation until, like me, they tried to purchase an International Plan from Verizon for this phone.
Overall it's a fairly decent phone. I don't have a case on it and it still overheats while trying to watch a video and especially while using the camera. Going with the camera, Samsung..this has 3 camera lenses..fix your software. 22 pictures and not one is usable is laughable. Just an idea but maybe if you weren't so focused on releasing a new phone every year like some big automaker and allowed your team of engineers some time to create, go in depth, and test new features, especially in real-world settings, I belive your phones would skyrocket in quality and bring the Samsung name back to being known for amazing and reliable electronics. I'm a die-hard Samsung fan but it does seem like quality has dropped off a bit. And not everyone uses their phones in a 20⁰C environment, in my case, the average is around 32⁰C and even with a fan blowing on it and no case, it still gets too hot to operate. I took a temperature reading of my screen the last time it got too hot..it read 44⁰C. Just carrying it around in my pocket outside caused the adhesive to soften enough that the backplate came off. Again, maybe give your engineers time to focus on a quality phone and test said phone meticulously before release. Just an opinion of course.
This phone is on the larger size and has a decent screen but was a little too laggy for me to use on a daily basis. I ended up exchanging it at my Verizon store for an S23. I feel that the screen is better than most budget phones but still didn't really feel like it belonged on a Galaxy device. It also lagged quite a bit when I played games. Not as bad as most budget phones but for the price I feel it should have had a much brighter screen and slightly faster processor. I didn't notice much difference in this phone than the Galaxy A14 that I bought for my daughter, and that phone cost a few hundred dollars less than the FE21. This phone would be nice for someone who wants a higher end budget smartphone and doesn't mind the dimmer screen ands lower processor.
Why do phones always take a step backward? With every new "improved" phone, they just get worse and worse. My wife has this exact phone with AT&T and she loves it - works great. So when my old phone sadly died, I decided to get this one. BIG MISTAKE!! It does not work well at all on the Verizon network. 4G with 5 bars and it is incredibly slow to load apps and respond to commands. And 5G - forget it. Even worse than 4G!! I've had it for a year and have wanted to throw it out the window many, many times. We are constantly traveling and I used to brag about how great the Verizon network is across the country. Not any more. Why it works great with AT&T and horrible on Verizon I don't know. I'd love to upgrade my service but it would be pointless with this piece of ... Two-minute review The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE really challenges the idiom ‘better late than never’: arriving around five months after it was expected - and 11 months and one week after the other phones in the Galaxy S21 family - the S21 FE is finally here only a month or so before the next-gen Galaxy range. This is purportedly the budget member of the Samsung Galaxy S21 range, offering features and specs from the main S21 family, but at a lower asking price because of a few select downgrades that average phone users likely won’t notice. This phone is also not the first Fan Edition phone from Samsung (it should be noted that the Galaxy S20 FE proved rather popular). Right off the bat, the price is a problem. The S21 FE is supposed to be the budget member of its family (a fact denoted by the FE in the name) but arriving so long after other phones in the S21 range, it is full price whereas others have been discounted. You can pick up the Galaxy S21 - a now older phone with more impressive specs and features - for less (assuming you find a good, sub-$600 deal). As Rick Rossovich says in Top Gun: “no points for second place.” Samsung Galaxy S21 FE’s price problem is a shame, because the mobile could be a tempting buy at a more competitive price point. Nowadays, you can get phones with the same processor, screen specs and camera capabilities for less. But the price is not the mobile’s only issue. The phone - even with its wireless charging - is rather slow to charge, and it also doesn’t last long enough between charges.

The all-time low was $265.00 on 24 Oct 2025 — today's price is 45% above the lowest ever. It has been notably cheaper before — worth setting a price alert.
