Better and better
For the longest time, I've always owned and used Samsung phones from the S series. With each an every new one that comes out, it only gets better. This is apparent with this recent S22+ I purchased. Compared to previous years, my S22+ has majorly improved my daily life. The improvements to hardware and software make this phone a joy to have. For one, the hardware has improved across all aspects, which in turn has improved my enjoyment. For example, the cameras have improved tremendously over the past years. The addition of the telephoto zoom is also very fun to use. As an casual photographer, I appreciate having a high performance camera in my pocket.Another great piece of hardware is the screen. In the past, I used to get the smaller model because it was easier to hold. However, this time around having the S22+ bigger screen size is a feature I am not willing to compromise. The size alongside the amazing quality and OLED display makes media a blast to watch. The software has also improved over time. I am very satisfied with the recent updates to OneUI. It has made the phone more customizable and optimized.Additionally, the Bixby assistant, to my surprise, has been a huge help in my day to day life. It is very easy to have Bixby create events, timers, reminders, and much more with the push of a button.Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase, and I look forward with anticipation to what Samsung has to offer in the future... Got exactly what was said in the description. My phone has broken a few weeks ago so this was the perfect replacement for the next few years. Extraordinarily well working phone, everything felt like it was in mint condition when I got it. Camera is great, everything feels buttery smooth to use, and the build of the phone is very sturdy and nice. Would recommend to others who want something affordable and useful! Five stars!... Great features, amazing software
I got this for my birthday, and it was the best I have gotten. My old phone used to be a budget phone and did not have many features, a good battery life, or an amazing screen. But after getting the S22+, my experience was enhanced. This phone allows me to make it my own instead of restricting the customization. The S22+ feels like a fashion accessory and a miniaturized computer in my pocket. The number of features and customization baffles my friends, making them jealous and realizing how some of these features are so useful in everyday life. An example is the always-one display, my friends think it is pointless and takes unnecessary battery life. But I think it is very helpful to see the time without having to touch my phone and having a guide for the fingerprint ... MoreI got this for my birthday, and it was the best I have gotten. I don't even need to turn off always-on display because I still get a full day's worth of battery. The best part of this phone has to be Good Lock. The amount of customization is endless and revolutionary. It is the best place to customize your Samsung and has the best features. Keycafe is one of my favorites, out of many, because it gives life to your keyboard, making it yours. Ending off with Samsung Members... Show more

Great Phone
Its my everyday personal phone. I had an issue 2 months after i got it. Some times you could hears some sort of vibration or static when playing heavy bass songs. Took it to Samsung and they recommended i removed the back glass covered from the cameras. That did the trick but now the cameras are not protected.I'm finding myself running low on battery every evening if I use my phone heavily. I think thats probably because of the settings I have it on and probably can improve if I don't max everything out but it doesn't bother me that much since im always around a charger (wireless or wired). Now to the positive. The phone works and looks great still. It looks and feels very good quality. Cameras are awesome even taking pictures at night. High resolution video is ... MoreIts my everyday personal phone. High resolution video is awesome too.Samsung Dex is a great feature too. I have used it when I leave without my laptop. Is not as comfortable as the laptop but if you find yourself needing to look into your accounts and dont have a laptop that you would like to use handy, it really helps you out.Years ago (2013) I tried switching from iphone to galaxy and I wasn't able. Lat year (2022) I decided to try again and this Samsung did not disappoint. It took some time to get used to and the migration of data an functionality was not 100% there but I'm really happy I switched. I think Samsung has newer features and In a lot of ways its a better value for what you pay.... Show more

Great Phone Overall, but a Few Annoyances
Overall I really like my S22+. Apps load quickly and many of them don't unload from memory even after several hours (to days) have passed. It's larger and heavier than my previous phone (A Galaxy S8), but once I got used to it, it feels great in my hand. And the camera is wonderful! In low light conditions, even without the flash, scenes appear much better lit than they are in reality. It's not all perfect, for one thing if you have any apps that need to send notifications while running in the background (For example, Amazon's shipping notifications) you have to turn off battery optimization. (Either entirely or per app.)There's also one really maddening bug where networking stops working selectively. Occasionally some apps won't be able to connect to the ... So far I've identified three apps that are impacted (Princess Connect Re:Dive, Phase 10 World Tour, and Walmart's app). When the bug hits, I can use Google Play's store and browse the web in Vivaldi without issues, but those three apps can't connect to their servers. The only solution is to restart the phone entirely. But overall it's a great phone and I'm quite happy with it. I wholeheartedly recommend it!... Show more

Packed full of features
This phone is such an amazing device. The build quality makes it feel premium as it should, the cameras are great, and full of great features that I enjoy using on a daily basis. For me, this phone is incredibly convenient because of these features. For instance, the pop up window is so good. Sometimes when I'm working in a particular app and I receive a notification that needs my attention and I don't want to exit the app I'm using, I can just open Finder and open up that other app in pop up window. It's so convenient. Other times I need to use two apps at once and this phone allows for me to work in both apps simultaneously. This device is a multi tasking machine and I love it so much. The edge panel is another thing I find handy. I can put my most used apps in ... MoreThis phone is such an amazing device. The edge panel is another thing I find handy. I can put my most used apps in the edge panel readily available and close by for me to use. The thing I love the most about this phone is how customizable it is: from the way the app icons look, the theme, the wallpapers, etc. I found that the handiest tool was the side key commands. Like it is quicker to launch the flashlight with by just pressing the side key twice to turn it on and off. I just find it quicker compared to having to turn on the phone and keep on scrolling the drop down menu and look for the flashlight. Another favorite of mine is the management of notifications. It is so clean and organized the way this phone handles notifications compared to iPhones.... Show more

Probably the worst phone I have wasted on money yet
This has been about the worst investment I have made in a phone yet, I can really only hope to get some justice by rating this negatively. Last year I upgraded from my S10 to the S22 as the S10's battery life had just become awful but I was overall very satisfied with the phone. To my surprise my battery life woes did not improve much with the upgrade. After 8 months the phone begun not receiving the charge from the charging port and when I took this to a service center they told me the phone had registered free falls and would therefore not replace this for me under warranty despite not having dropped my phone at all and the device having no signs of physical damage to match that claim. Well the crappy charging port was replaced by a samsung servuce place out of ... Well the crappy charging port was replaced by a samsung servuce place out of pocket and after 6 months now the screen is failing. Apparently a lot of owners of the S22 series have seen the screen degrade after an update, so there is the possibility some kind of software issue has caused hardware burnout. for a 900 dollar phone I would have expected this to last more than a year and a half before becoming obsolete because of hardware issues.... Solid, well rounded option.
I am a recovering iPhone user (15 years old) who switched to Samsung about 6 months ago, because my iPhone SE battery life was abysmal, and I found the phone locked down, and freedomless. I bought this s22 plus, even though everybody has iPhones at my school, and made fun of me for wanting a Samsung. That soon changed, however, as I began saving their lives when their batteries kept dying, and they didn't have their charger by using the power share function. I even charged a pair of AirPods for my friend, and everyone in the room was wondering why you couldn't do so on Apple's own iPhone. The fact that Samsung phones have better integration with Airpods in some aspects than iPhones, should be embarrassing to Apple. There are so many different features and aspects of ... The fact that Samsung phones have better integration with Airpods in some aspects than iPhones, should be embarrassing to Apple. There are so many different features and aspects of this phone that I love, including the camera, screen, durable construction, One UI 5, power share, superior clipboard, integration with Windows PCs, etc... The whole phone is just so well-rounded, and there really isn't anything to complain about. Everything just works how you'd expect it to. The only things I could think of are better-sounding speakers, and the ability to power share while plugged in. If you choose this phone you are essentially going to get a well-rounded option that checks all the boxes, simply does what you want it to, and will last for years to come. Samsung focused on what their customers wanted with this phone(except removing the sd card slot ): ), and every detail is there for your best interest. Although Apple has its advantages, people need to get over their iPhone loyalty and look at what other companies have to offer. If you never have an open mind, you'll never know how good an iPhone really is. I'm not saying that iPhones are complete trash, I just want to tell people about the great experience I have had with Samsung and give them the confidence to try it for themselves. Who knows, it could be the perfect fit!... Show more

I do recommend extra storage if you're disabled like me and have to use multiple platform apps that are compatible between Samsung Android Google Apple and windows. If you get Samsung care plus make sure nothing happens to your device because the people I've dealt with magically can't look up the documentation for everything. So document everything your purchases shall what you're device if something was to happen is covered.... Show more

Worthy successor in the GALAXY lineup
I've carried a Galaxy phone of the S-series since my 1st Samsung purchase of a Galaxy S-9. I've owned each successor to that phone, up to this current S22+. It's outstanding. I'm without a doubt an abusive person to my devices, and this model is holding up great. The style, white back panel, camera placement, and hard keys are all expertly located, and situated to be rugged. The 1 downside, that I'm not sure is better on any other device, are the micro scratches I accumulate on the screen. I refuse to install a protector, so, likely my fault. I literally have this phone operating 24/7, without exaggeration, I have it streaming the news all night, every night, while I sleep, for background noise. It never overheats, or misses a beat. It pairs perfectly with my watch ... MoreI've carried a Galaxy phone of the S-series since my 1st Samsung purchase of a Galaxy S-9. I've owned each successor to that phone, up to this current S22+. It pairs perfectly with my watch 4 and buds pro, truly intuitive and a simplifier of life. I've played with the others, some Androids, others made by fruit companies, but, nothing compares. It's the whole 9 yards, and you'll actually get the elusive 10 yards if you pair it with the wrist and ear wearables.... Show more
