This device is perfect for most people. I'm not really into huge phones so I got the smallest size - which was the Samsung S23. I had a hard time with the fingerprint sensor (may have been because of my screen protector), but I found ways to overcome the difficulty. The first thing I did was re-register my fingerprint when the screen protector was on, and record several instances of my finger. The sensor, despite being ultrasonic, may take a while to recognize the fingerprint. It may also get some time before you get used to the sensor, as it may take a while the first couple of weeks.Lastly, the display is AMAZING. Having upgraded from a 2 year device, I thought the display would only be a slight improvement. But no, it comes with 60-120hz display and I have seen almost zero lag when watching videos or playing games. (Btw this phone plays high performance games like genshin impact like a boss).This is easily a phone which I would give a 10/10. After getting used to this device, the drawbacks don't really matter or become relevant.

Best Samsung phone ever

My S23 is my everyday workhorse, for both business and pleasure. For business, I love the screen fingerprint scanner as I feel is more secure than face ID. I also use the Google workspace to modify documents and spreadsheets.For pleasure, the cameras take great pictures, and I like the assistant that helps you center the shot for best results. The screen is really bright, and I regularly enjoy Netflix and Amazon Prime movies (I use a case with kickstand) while working out at the gym. The picture quality is as good or better than my home TVs thanks to the 120 Hz refresh rate. Stereo sound quality is good as well.Samsung's Android software releases seem very stable compared to the rest of my family's iPhone releases. Using the 85% charge gives me more enough daily battery life along with the charging during my commute. I use wireless charging by my bed, and the phone plus a Bluetooth speaker have eliminated the need for a clock radio.The only qualm I have is with size. My previous S21 was a little larger screen wise, and I wish the screen was 6.3" vs the 6.1". I bounced around buying the S23+, but it would be too large for pocket use if you add a case to it. I would also like to see stylus support on the SEE so you can use it like a notepad.

Best one handed phone, hand down. Lol

I've had this phone since March of 2023. This is by far the best phone I've ever used. Everything works seamlessly. Games run amazingly on it with graphics turned to the max. Videos look great when watching on the go. Photography/video is really good for everyday people, the attached picture was taken at sunset a while back with the night setting, no flash, it was almost dark outside, I think twilight would be about correct, I hadn't had the phone for long and was testing things, and the picture still turned out good. The endless customization from the Galaxy theme store, or make your own with Theme Park inside the Good Lock app that's in the Galaxy store. With a keyboard, mouse, and any screen, you have a fully capable computer at your fingertips. I don't know why they don't push this as much but it's an awesome feature. And all of this in a phone I can use with one hand without sacrificing CPU. Any of the s23 series is amazing. I'm just glad to have a phone that fits in my hand just right. I promise if you're thinking about switching to Samsung or need a new phone, the s23 series will not disappoint. I've owned Apple, I've owned Pixel, and I've owned Motorola phones. If the s23 is a sign of the future of Samsung I'll ride with them til the wheels fall off. What are you still reading this for go buy an S23.

Pictures are not oversized and in 2-3 mb size which is great fit. With expert raw and light room combinations you can do professional photography level editing on pictures.Price - I got it the 256 gb se23 on sale this year for 200$ off. A steal deal I must say.Overall - overall I feel this is a perfect flagship device in 6.1 inch screen category.

Galaxy S23, my first ever flagship phone.

This phone surprised me in so many ways. The graphics while playing my favorite racing game, Asphalt 9, were mind boggling to me. It looked as if the car was moving at warp speed and yet could see every detail of the game. It made the game come alive and the response of the control was something I didn't think possible on a phone. I also love the detail of watching movies and that it can play 4k videos with ease. I started doing Vr with my last phone but it was trashy compared to this phone and I thought it was great till I got this one. I use for everything, from playing my games and for use at work which brings me to the camera. This phones camera brought him so close I thought he was only 10 feet away and able to see if he needed help. I had no ideas little thing like this could do that and still be clear. With all that of greatness I do have two issues and both involve one thing and that is the battery. I wish it was bigger and boy it gets hot but other than that I love e my Galaxy S23 and can't wait to try the plus or ultra one day. Great Phone, Easier to Repair, but get the s24

It’s really a 4.5 stars, and only because compared to the s24 this phone only gets 4 years of software updates as opposed to the s24 getting 7 (which is why I returned the s23).The phone is a good size, about as narrow as my old s10e and just a bit taller making it a solid choice for small hands. The edges were a little sharp, but doesn’t matter once a case is put on.The battery life was good, I’m not the heaviest user and would end the day with about 35 - 45%. At the end of the day, in screen readers will always be inferior to dedicated optical fingerprint reader buttons, as the s10e had on the side.I also miss the mappable bixby button. I never used bixby, but I loved the ability to map my camera to a physical button. In 5 years the mappable button will return as a “new feature”.Of course no headphone jack, which will always be missed. RIP wired audio.I was torn between this device and the newest pixel, but the s23 has a much easier battery to replace. At this point, all phones are good and will get the job done. It’s really about what will last the longest, and that comes down to repairability and software updates.

Modern phone keeps up with the modern lifestyle

I have used this phone for 1.5 weeks so far. I previously owned a competitors phone and honestly won't be looking back. I opted for the S23+ as I don't need the additional features and power of the Ultra, and despite not being Samsung's top flagship model, it does not disappoint! I'm a heavy user of my phone and to be getting 2 days of use per charge as opposed to needing to top up the previous phone at least once per day is incredible! The performance has been seamless and the ability to customise multiple aspects of the phone to my liking has been a game changer. The camera is absolutely stunning and the pictures I have taken so far look so good that to get anywhere close to that on my previous phone, I needed to heavily edit the picture. There is a Dolby Atmos for Gaming feature that gives an immersive experience especially when playing shooting games.The S23 is very portable, I use it one handed, havent dropped it once. The only downside is the sides are glossy so I would advise to slap a grip case on it.Finally, the battery surprised me the most. I average about 7 hrs SOT. I charge for about 30 mins in the morning & Im good to go.I dont use the camera much but it delivered perfectly when I needed it to. Also the customization options on the S23 are limitless especially with the Good Lock app.In conclusion, this is the best phone I've had and I'm enjoying every moment of it.
