I don't do fancy stuff with my phone basic web surfing, social media, and watch you tube or Netflix. I'm a little disappointed I upgraded from the S10+ and was excited and thought I would notice a huge change since I had my phone for a cpl years. And everything is pretty much the same. Yes clearer and brighter colors but the phone is same size I feel as S10 plus. I just thought it would have more features. I hate iPhones but do like you can react to txt messages with an emoji and I wish galaxy could. I have been a galaxy user from back in the day since 2012 but was expecting more of a WOW when I upgraded feel I still have the S10. I don't like how you have to turn it off and on now and it is taking some getting use to that there is no button on the left side anymore. Can't find cases besides basic black and ugly ones so far unless u want to pay 80 bucks for a case. Everyone said they are coming. Also not happy with the color choices at all ended up going with green. I wanted the lime but could only get on samsung and i couldnt afford to pay 1,000 bucks up front. Definitely wish they had more fun colors available in carriee stores!!! Overall it's a good phone like all galaxies just wish I would have got that WOW factor from upgrading an older version.

The battery life is really good and I haven't had any issues with the phone so far - admittedly I've only had it for 2 weeks. Previously I had the S20+ which I thought was really nice until my cat knocked over a vase onto my phone and cracked the screen! Reluctantly, I decided to upgrade rather than replace the screen (£250 - £300, ouch!). I say reluctantly because I had tried to upgrade late last year to a S22 but sent it back because it wouldn't even last a full day on one charge. I was very pleased to experience the complete opposite with the S23+ which can easily make two days on one charge and that's with GPS / Location, WiFi, Mobile Data all permanently switched on. I appreciate that both the S20+ and the S23+ phones have bigger batteries than the regular models and therefore it might seem unfair to compare to the S22, but they also have much bigger screens too; I thought that a S22 would have easily matched my 3yr old S20+ for battery time but it didn't, even with the smaller screen. The S23+ has definitely been the quickest phone to set up using Samsung Smart switch, taking my complete set up including WiFi passwords and Google account but guess I'm not totally sure if that's down to the phone, the UI or both. The speakers sound good and clear, the screen is very nice and I don't have to buy any 3rd party app to enable the side button to active Google Assist instead of Bixby (via routines). The only negatives I can think of is that I can't insert an SD Card to expand storage size and, being used to the S20+, the flat shape seems a little 'blocky' - placing both phones next to each other they are both the same thickness but the S20+ appears thinner due to the curved edges. Cloud storage and the fact the S23+ has a minimum 256gb storage doesn't really make the SD Card a big issue for me personally, and it's easy to forget about the slightly 'blocky' design when the battery lasts this good.

Porting the data, settings and pictures over from my S10+ couldn't have been easier and took less time than I thought. Nearly all my customizations came over. Next was optimizing battery settings and other setup features. The battery seemed to drain pretty quickly the first two days. I kept playing with the settings and now it lasts me about a day and a half, based on all the apps, features and settings I've enabled. The weight is heavier than my old phone but then a lot more technology is packed into the unit. I was instantly connected to my carrier's 5G network when I turned it on. The longest part of the setup had nothing to do with the phone -- it was resetting up most of the apps (logging in 1st time, etc.). I know Samsung models dropped the audio jack some time back, but I was surprised the first time I went to jack in high-end noise-cancelling headphones or when I drove in an older SUV without Bluetooth. I do use Bluetooth headphones, ear buds and so forth, but there's not much I can do about the older SUV for now. Anyway, I'm inseparable from the new phone and totally depend on it to manage nearly everything.

This is my first Galaxy S series device. I've always held Samsung in high regard, but I would traditionally get a cheaper phone. But I was able to get some good preorder and trade in deals toward the S23+, so I jumped. I knew that with the release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that this phone was supposed to be exceptional in terms of all around performance, power efficiency, and battery life, and it has not disappointed. I particularly like the battery protection feature, as I intend to keep this phone for awhile so I want to preserve the battery if I can. The Samsung Dex feature is a great way to use your phone to watch content on your TV in a pinch. I also found a free theme that I really like, and I like that Samsung apps fully support the themes. The Samsung Dex feature is a great way to use your phone to watch content on your TV in a pinch. I also found a free theme that I really like, and I like that Samsung apps fully support the themes. The only small complaint I have is that, while the phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, the only advanced Bluetooth codecs it supports are LDAC, SSC, and the basic aptX codec. Even though the Snapdragon chip itself supports advanced aptX codecs, Samsung has not enabled them on this device. This means if you're looking for headphones with the best sound quality, you want to make sure they support LDAC or SSC, both of which are superior to the basic aptX codec. This is a relatively minor annoyance, as I have found good headphones that use LDAC and aptX. Otherwise, I'm loving this phone.
I learned the hard way that the buyers remorse period is a must-decide-quick 15 days instead of 30. I noted upon initial use that I wasn't loving the camera after owning a Galaxy S10+. The photo quality is oversaturated, overboosted and oversharpened which takes the natural qualities away from a photo. This is particularly bad outside under a clear blue sky and not as noticeable with indoor photography. The blue and red-purple hues are especially saturated. I tried returning the phone after attempts to resolve it through tech assistance. I learned more about this phone and the camera functions than the Samsung tech support. Nothing resolves these issues even if I adjust saturation, contrast, highlights and shadows in the pro setting, which I have now learned the ... MoreI learned the hard way that the buyers remorse period is a must-decide-quick 15 days instead of 30. I wish I could go back to the S10+ camera with the new phone capacity. The phone itself is just a phone and nothing to complain about. The important things: battery life, sound, speed, capacity are all satisfactory. The camera is the most important feature so I give the overall rating a 2. Samsung, I permit you to publish this review only in full and not in part.
The S23+ is probably the most underrated and overlooked phone of the whole lineup in the S23 series. The overall feel of this device has been amazing. For a 6.6 inch display, it is very comfortable to use. The One UI 5.1 has been very smooth and the animations have been better than ever before. One UI is my favourite operating system because it provides so much customization with the best features while also being buttery smooth at the same time. The cameras on this phone have also been amazing. I never before used 8k to record videos on a smartphone. The Galaxy S23 series have now made it possible. 8k at 30fps is finally usable and outshines any other smartphone. The photos have been excellent as always with lots of detail. Now when it comes to battery life, it was the thing I was most looking forward to in the S23+. A power user of the S22+ who has only getting 5 to 6 hours of screen on time with my personal use was not enough and now this device has blown my mind. The 200mah increase in battery capacity to 4700mah and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy provides the an astounding experience in battery. I am now averaging 8 to 9 hours of screen on time on my S23+ and still having 20% left on a very heavy day of use which I had never seen before on a Samsung phone. This phone has never heated up on me and I am someone who plays games and records videos and takes photos on a regular. If you are someone who needs the best battery life with a large display, the S23+ is for you.

I have enjoyed every model I have had throughout those years, and have used them as a teacher. But the S23+'s technology is a thumbs up.The operating system used in the school district I work is Windows, and as an android, the S23+ works well with that system. It includes Microsoft 365 Office as one of its apps, and works well with Brainly, Khan Academy, and Edgenuity, a few of the math apps I have downloaded and use. I am able to track work done by my students wherever I am, and can accept and grade their completed work. The S23+ is my Teacher's assistant.I will continue to use Samsung cellphones as it expands its technology through my remaining years as an educator and beyond.
I’m really impressed with the Samsung galaxy s23+ I believe it’s the best smartphone that Samsung has ever made. I’ve gotten three days of battery life on a single charge. And I haven’t had to do any tweaks to get that great battery life. The phone feels buttery smooth and fluid. It’s the perfect size as well, I was thinking about getting the ultra but it’s just too long and I hope that Samsung would only make phones that are 6.7 inches and a little bit wider. These long and narrow phones are kinda ridiculous to me. I also pray to the heavens above that Samsung doesn’t start pulling that apple crap. You know, taking things away from us while charging us more money. I think apple has forgotten that it’s the consumer who made them who they are. You know, taking things away from us while charging us more money. I think apple has forgotten that it’s the consumer who made them who they are. And they have a problem with giving the consumer what they want. So please Samsung don’t do that. I truly believe that Samsung could take over the smartphone industry if they had better support for their products. Meaning, have their own stores that people can visit like the Apple stores. Market their products better than Apple because personally I’m sick of Apple and they’re sheep. Don’t take away the SIM card for no reason just because apple did it. I hate having to call my carrier every time I want to switch phones. Keep the good deals going because Apple doesn’t offer them at all and they give you something that they call a smartphone but doesn’t do smart things. Samsung gives you a true computer in your pocket.
I love the memory capacity: after I transferred the date from my old phone (& that phone had data from the previous phone, so it was 2 phone's worth of data) which was over 32, 500 plus screenshots, videos, pictures, etc: I still had tons of memory in my phone available. My old phone had very little storage (even with an SD card) & quit working properly. This Samsung 23 plus is AMAZING! My mom, grandmother & me feed the wildlife nearby: ducks, geese, turtles, fish & nutria rats (yes, I live in Louisiana). The first time I used the camera on this Samsung, my mom & I were astonished! It zooms up to 30 times! I was able to take pictures of the fish & turtles in the lake, under the water 😳 I zoomed the camera to the island in the middle of the lake & the pictures of the wildlife there were so crisp, you could even see the wrinkles in the feathers of a duck we named Grandmother Duck because she takes care of a goose with a broken wing that we call Broken Wing. I was able to zoom into the nutria rat tunnel to take pictures of the nutria eating the food we had thrown down there- without scaring it or disturbing it, but the quality was so wonderful that it looks like I was standing right next to it. My friends & family say the photographs are of professional quality because this phone is that great. The RAM & processing are amazing & the phone works lightning quick. There are so many wonderful features that I'm still discovering on this phone.
Purchased s23plus for my fiancee. This was her 1st phone that size. She loves the size and the pics that she takes with it. I may consider getting her an ultra the next go aroundBut for now. But unlike the Galaxy S23 Ultra's cameras, which have noticeable improvements in color tone and dynamic range along with a new 200-megapixel sensor, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus' cameras largely feel the same as last year. Both the regular Galaxy S23 and the larger 6.6-inch Galaxy S23 Plus get a longer battery life compared to their predecessors. The Galaxy S23 has a 3,900-mAh battery, up from the Galaxy S22's 3,700-mAh capacity, while the Galaxy S23 Plus has a 4,700-mAh battery instead of the S22 Plus' 4,500-mAh battery.
