The battery life is really good and I haven't had any issues with the phone so far - admittedly I've only had it for 2 weeks. Previously I had the S20+ which I thought was really nice until my cat knocked over a vase onto my phone and cracked the screen! I say reluctantly because I had tried to upgrade late last year to a S22 but sent it back because it wouldn't even last a full day on one charge. The speakers sound good and clear, the screen is very nice and I don't have to buy any 3rd party app to enable the side button to active Google Assist instead of Bixby (via routines).The only negatives I can think of is that I can't insert an SD Card to expand storage size and, being used to the S20+, the flat shape seems a little 'blocky' - placing both phones next to each other they are both the same thickness but the S20+ appears thinner due to the curved edges. Cloud storage and the fact the S23+ has a minimum 256gb storage doesn't really make the SD Card a big issue for me personally, and it's easy to forget about the slightly 'blocky' design when the battery lasts this good.

This is my first Galaxy S series device. I've always held Samsung in high regard, but I would traditionally get a cheaper phone. But I was able to get some good preorder and trade in deals toward the S23+, so I jumped. I knew that with the release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that this phone was supposed to be exceptional in terms of all around performance, power efficiency, and battery life, and it has not disappointed. I particularly like the battery protection feature, as I intend to keep this phone for awhile so I want to preserve the battery if I can. The S23+ is probably the most underrated and overlooked phone of the whole lineup in the S23 series. The overall feel of this device has been amazing. For a 6.6 inch display, it is very comfortable to use. The One UI 5.1 has been very smooth and the animations have been better than ever before. One UI is my favourite operating system because it provides so much customization with the best features while also being buttery smooth at the same time. The cameras on this phone have also been amazing. I never before used 8k to record videos on a smartphone. The Galaxy S23 series have now made it possible. 8k at 30fps is finally usable and outshines any other smartphone. The photos have been excellent as always with lots of detail. I’m really impressed with the Samsung galaxy s23+ I believe it’s the best smartphone that Samsung has ever made. I’ve gotten three days of battery life on a single charge. And I haven’t had to do any tweaks to get that great battery life. The phone feels buttery smooth and fluid. It’s the perfect size as well, I was thinking about getting the ultra but it’s just too long and I hope that Samsung would only make phones that are 6.7 inches and a little bit wider. These long and narrow phones are kinda ridiculous to me. I also pray to the heavens above that Samsung doesn’t start pulling that apple crap. The I phone that I had before, was limited in functionality, and was actually hacked, locked-out by the hacker, and all of my information and personal data was held for a "ransom". Apple refused to help, and said there was nothing they could do, because I could not verify my identity after the Icloud accohnt was hacked. I switched back to the Samsung S23+ and couldn't be happier. The text-to-talk feature is fluent and easy to use. The multiple security features and access to multiple open-source applications allow me to feel confident that should something re-occur, I can count on Samsung to "have my back" and recover sensitive information. The uncomplicated features and ease of use helps me keep track of critical appointments and allows family and friends to locate me immediately or send emergency services to my location at the push of a button, which has saved my life during a seizure. The phone is durable which suits my needs perfectly. I will never go back to an IPhone, especially after trying to deal with the incompetence of an out-sourced customer support staff. The Samsung Series truly is unparalleled in productivity, ease-of-use, adaptability, etc. The camera and video quality is amazing too, capturing amazing moments with my fanily. She is very happy with her new phone and stays on it consistently getting used to the options that she has....she also uses the phone to organize her church schedule.
