As well as being slower than the exynos devices, you can not install custom OS on snapdragon devices. Meaning Exynos variant owners could install newest Android software, making this phone run way smoother, as well as not having an outdated operating system. Some issues with this phone include weak battery (which is to be expected from the phone aging), extremely slow processer, phone crashing and in apps, overheating, etc. These phones have a major issue of a thick pink line going down the AMOLED display (caused by damaged digitizers). Samsung claims this is due to dropping your phone or cracking your screen which did not happen in my case. This effects most S7 edge phones my phone and previous S7 Edge included. Overall, a decent phone, but not worth getting in 2022, as it does not get any support for updates anymore.

Bought this on Amazon 4 years ago. The edge style is pleasing to hold and look at. The screen is very clear and rich. After 4yrs the 32GB is getting full and the battery life seems shorter. It never liked my fingerprint much which is a shame. It's camera is good as well although newer phones have a lot more features. I'd still recommend this for someone who doesn't download much. It's a pretty phone. My next one will be a Samsung

I'm only replacing this phone because Verizon is making me. I got this phone in 2016 and I've never needed to replace it. I'm firmly an android user and Samsung buyer due to this phone. My apple user friends have each had to repair or replace their phones many times since 2016 usually due to a broken screen or glitchy software. My phone has survived falling down mountain trails, submersion in ocean water, being thrown (not by me) and other such incidents. The software was never glitchy for me, the phone only slowed if I downloaded too many documents/photos. I can only hope the next phone I get is as reliable as the S7Edge. I'm seriously upset I have to replace it. If i could switch carriers and keep my phone, I would.

It has been a while since I traded my S7, and I liked the sleek and edgey feel. I had it for about 4 years and it was pretty durable. The battery lasted throughout the day, but even longer when it was new. Unfortunately, my student dropped it and the cracked. Despite so, it actually lasted many dropped before that last one. The speed was OK but definitely not as strong the phones nowadays. At that time, it was OK.

I use to having Samsung brand phone . I had before a Samsung S5 and S7 edge. I was really like it my favourite. But first week drop down and open the screen and after that slowly going bad. Change the screen it was so expensive . Battery life is good. User interface is was good . Camera quality is perfect. I wish to have again same phone.Currently I am using iPhone but I am not really happy with that.

It was listed as used- like new, and it sure seems it is! It's replacing another edge with a flickering screen, and so far it's worked flawlessly. Mac Programmer loves his Samsung S7 Edge

First off, I must say, I am a dyed-in-the-wool, Apple programmer. That being said... I can safely say that the Android OS is hands down better than the iPhone IOS. I still believe that Macintosh technology is superior to Windows, but when it comes to iPhones, Apple really is lacking and their offerings are way more expensive. I think they may have to seriously rethink their price/features points to compete in the next 5-10 years or they will lose massive market share. The iPhone is a good phone, but compared to the Samsung S7 Edge it's a better value, imho. The ability to use one of my other iMacs as a server to watch movies vie File Manager+ (a free app) is outrageously cool - not sure that the iPhone can do such a thing (unless you jailbreak it - a bit of a hassle) because there's no file manager. Of course I could be wrong, but I don't think so. As I just heard as of July, 2109, IOS will finallybe featuring the use of external drives - (about time!) However, the S7 Edge has an easy to get at, built-in microSD slot which takes microSD cards up to 200GB! Overall, the S7 Edge is more delightful, has more cool features. If you want a way cool phone at a low price point - $150, the S7 Edge will not disappoint! Samsung delivers and Apple's iPhones will never be able to match Samsung's price point - I'm not going back to the iPhone. They're way too overpriced for the limited features. Sorry Apple. Samsung wins in the phone department!
