I was happy with this phone so far. It's a bit of a downgrade from my aging Galaxy s model but to be honest I didn't see much of a difference between this one and the flagships. The phone quality is as good as the S models. It does have a plastic back but if you are going to use a case it's no big deal. The processor speed fits my needs. If you are a big gamer or social media user you may need to charge your phone more often. But for me even on my heavy Social media usage days I still have enough battery life to get me through the day. Overall the phone fit my needs. The cameras work well and take clear photos. It still checks off all the absolute essentials-- good call quality, loud speakers, good volume. And it still holds up relatively well in the "extras" department. Display is still gorgeous, love the flat camera on the back, and though it is just a single lense, it still takes photos that are plenty sufficient for typical use. Still snappy going through the UI, and still has a headphone jack. Stereo speakers are a bonus. I got mine in lilac purple and think it looks quite gorgeous. Slapped a Joker wallpaper on it to fit the purple color. Still holds up well against alot of 2019, 2020, and even some 2021 flagships.

Holy Shxt, this is the best phone I’ve ever owned. I dropped my phone near Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco around 6:30 at night, and hadn’t realized until I was already 30 min away. My girlfriend and I were stopped in a highway blockage on the way back because some guy improperly strapped his wooden furniture, the furniture falls off the back of the truck and wooden pieces go across the entire highway. We wait for about 20 min for the highway to clear. I dropped it in the sand and the waves carried it out 10-15 feet and into about 4-5 foot deep water. I take off my clothes and rush out to get it. As I pick it up, I feel it halfway submerged into the sand floor, sand running down my arms and hands as I hoist my phone out of the water. I run quickly back to shore and start rapidly drying it. I rinsed it off so I don’t get salt corrosion but it was submerged under the ocean, in the sand for about a total time of hour and half. As of right now (12:27 am the time I wrote this) the phones seems to have no problems at all. My favorite phone ever

!!! THIS S9 ISN'T DUAL SIM !!!

From an objective point of view, I cannot leave a bad review because the product I received is in excellent conditions: brand new sealed, good packaging, the phone battery is good too and the phone works fine... but... I ordered and expected to receive a dual SIM phone as specified twice in the title AND details page of the product. From my experience point of view, I have also like many others been sent a single SIM phone and, this is an issue for me. At first I didn't notice it because there were 2 IMEIs on the box, but the bad surprise came when trying to insert my 2nd SIM in the second slot; checking the box again I realised the 2 IMEIs were actually the same number! Insane Survivability!

I bought my S9+ about four years ago and it was my daily driver until may of 2022. My idea and purpose when buying the phone was to use it until It couldn't 'phone' anymore. Little did I know what I was getting into. I always had a case on my phone and used a screen protector for the first 2 years as well. Once it hit year three I was very ready to upgrade with all the amazing new products on the market, but my s9+ was not done yet. It had a small crack in a corner at year three and I took the screen protector off and switched to a more stylish but less protective case to hopefully shorten its lifespan so I could get a new phone. About a month after that, I dropped it and with the bad case, shattered the back glass completely, glass falling out bad. Shortly after that, a stray airsoft pellet spider cracked my entire front screen leaving a dime sized dead pixel 'hole' and the glass was chipping off on the edges.Unfortunately at that time I did not have the funds for a new device so I waited and hoped poor s9+ would survive. That phone lasted 5 months of college life with a destroyed, but still completely functional screen. I could even touch the dead spot ti push buttons even if I couldn't see them.TL,DR: I almost tried to break my phone and norther what happened it kept going.I have now upgraded to the ZFlip 3 5G, have had it for a month and love it so far.Keep up the amazing product quality Samsung!

Is this phone really obsolete?

The Galaxy S9+ is a phone meant for the enthusiast, or high profile business man. It has more settings and functions than someone can shake a stick at, and its ultra snappy responses to launching apps and typing, loading pretty much anything; all but guarantees this phone is the best of the best. Extremely high screen resolution and an AMOLED display makes it future proof for 4k videos. The included headphone jack is a godsend. The internal DAC (Digital to Analog Converter for audio) is phenomenal for a phone. And the sheer amount of customization possibilities makes it a phone for everyone's mood or vibe. Very strong wifi performance and Bluetooth is flawless. Long Lasting and Durable Phone

I've had my Galaxy S9+ for about 5 or so years now. It works the same as the day I got it and I have no issues with it slowing down on me. I've also dropped it so many times and had no issues with the screen or performance. It's a solid device that's great for someone who wants their money to go a long way. It also has excellent customization features and so many useful and cool tools! Two of my favorite features would be sharing data through touching two phones together or silencing a call by turning your phone over.It does have so many features and tools that I haven't even used, so I can't say too much about that, but I'm not complaining! It's truly an amazing tool all on it's own!

If you can get over not having the latest and greatest this phone is solid. I have never dropped a call. The phone sound is crystal clear. The speakers sound amazing for music. There's a slot for expandable memory. An ear phone jack. I don't power use my phone. The battery seems to hold up well and has fast charging so it charges quickly. Really how could I justify a new phone. Look it up there are great reviews of this phone way back in the day, 2019. Truly Excellent

When I placed the order I didn’t have much expectation, first time bought a refurbished mobile. Gift for my brother, lost his favourite s9+ on his posting. When I received the mobile I couldn’t believe my own eyes - It looked completely new, not a single scratch, all sensors are working, I mean the only way you can say it’s old because you might know the release date of s9+, that’s it, no other way to tell it’s old. Battery is working fine still now, it’s been only 2 days. I like to see its performance after 1 year. I will update my review if anything happens to the mobile within 1 year. I’m impressed by Canadian Gadget. You did an awesome job, Thank you.
