I have been using this tablet for school task like accesing my work and taking classes online. I dont have to worry about disconnected lectures or dropped video calls due to the 5g network im in and the tablets features make working on it easy! It is very smooth and transitions without drag or even video errors.Battery is also worth mentioning. I browse the internet, check social media, and play games on this tablet and the battery life is outstanding. It will last me 8 to 10 hours depending on use but it also doesnt get hot.Overall I believe that this product is very good for work and play and would recommed it to anyone interested in owning a tablet for multiple use. Witg all the features included and the Galaxy AI doing school work and multi tasking has been made simpler.

All of Samsung's previous smaller tablets have always had quite serious trade - offs, maybe aimed at kids? either the screen resolution was just a little too blocky, or the speed was a bit too slow and lagging. You can get a smaller tablet from Apple with all the bells and whistles but it costs a lot. I was always frustrated that Samsung hadn't made a decent smaller tablet that wasn't just an under-performing afterthought aimed at children.Samsung have now finally made a very respectable smaller tablet, the Tab A9 is an excellent size for those who don't want a big tablet, its great for portability and those who do a lot on the move. The speed is fine with no noticeable lagging (i got the 8gb/128gb version), muti-tasking is pretty good, so this tablet can actually ... MoreAll of Samsung's previous smaller tablets have always had quite serious trade - offs, maybe aimed at kids? either the screen resolution was just a little too blocky, or the speed was a bit too slow and lagging. The speed is fine with no noticeable lagging (i got the 8gb/128gb version), muti-tasking is pretty good, so this tablet can actually be used for productivity and doing work on the go, unlike previous ~8in models. The display is good as you'd expect from Samsung, and even though the display specs aren't massively different from previous 8in models the display is actually fairly sharp for text, and more than satisfactory for watching film and TV, I'd even say impressive. The build quality is excellent, it has a strong, modern and premium feel and look to it, I actually feel like I'm using a large premium phone rather than a small tablet.Overall Samsung has finally put some serious effort in doing what they do best, into making a decent smaller tablet. It shows how far technology has come in 2023 when a good company like Samsung can produce a product like this at this price.

Well, I had originally decided to get a tablet for the benefits of mobility & simplicity (over say my laptop), yet without losing my abilities to still do all of my college schoolwork, and most other things that I use my phone for. However, unfortunately, I have learned (of course, after already having this, said, tablet) the colossally disappointing reality of my Samsung (because I HATE, with a passion, all things iPhone related - including their entire software platform & isolated interface) tablet, A8, not having the CPU power that my Samsung S10+ has, anywhere near the comparable storage (which I already knew at time of getting, but thought that it would be overcomable), and/or the software flexibility/compatibility to as fluidly install the same apps (such as ... MoreWell, I had originally decided to get a tablet for the benefits of mobility & simplicity (over say my laptop), yet without losing my abilities to still do all of my college schoolwork, and most other things that I use my phone for. The primary reason why I got it was to basically use it the exact same as my phone (only less for communications, but all other things), but with a bigger screen. Nope, it does not fuction that well. Now, I do not want to illustrate an overall negative view of this tablets functionality capabilities. In general, it works well for a lot of things. It is just a let down that it does smoothly, fluidly handle computing all of the same things that I use my phone for (other than calls & texts). If this were to be for anyone who wants to only watch Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, listen to music than it is great!

Good replacement for the 8" tab S2 LTE. I can't say the screen is so crystal clear as the one 7 years old. The viewing angle is more precise. Will be the pixel technology being used in this. The failure of manufactures to make 4x3 screens these days lead to a search as many to find a replacement for the trusty 8" tab S2. This model you gain 1/2" in height, loose 1/2" in width held in portrait mode. Pump up the Samsung keyboard to maximum size of letters and its starting to resemble the Tab S2 in use with a similar sized visual experience on the keyboard. The new Android you soon get use to although I have a bigger tablet with that on it so was use to it. There appeared to be a bug after the upgrade to Android 14 which is well reported across boards over the months that Android 14 upgrade came out. You do another software update after the first. Might take a day to come through. Lack of notification sounds as I recall. Oh there is another software upgrade waiting... did the trick. Something to look out for. Notification sounds returned. Similar to Microsoft you get the package update and then a known bug fix after.Migration using the Samsung software over wifi worked well taking taking apps not in the Playstore plus directories. Email was configured but if you use customised sounds for incoming emails you do need to set them back up again. Bluetooth connections in the car etc need to be restored.Fast tablet compared to the tab S2 where apps were out growing the memory and developers were dropping Android 7 off so apps couldn't be updated and we're also blocked if you didnt update the firmware that you couldn't in anycase. Getting beyond a joke on the old tablet. Sanity now restored on the app front. Some older nitch software a bit of searching did find new software updates. Ezshare wifi SD camera card. Some fumbling with Chinese screens on that got it working. Release 5 of that to support the Chinese Market. Pleased about that one since I keep my Panasonic bridge camera 10 years old into the social media age with a discontinued Ezshare wifi card, good price at the time.Built in camera quality is good on the tablet. If you like large phablet devices, a bit bigger than the phone "phablets" which are now regular mobiles, then this is for you. Paper back sized screen for reading rather than massive 10 / 11 " tablets and the weight or mobiles that are too small. The beauty of 8" or 8.5" tablets in this case. Easy to carry in a shoulder bag.
Very good budget tablet, but not a tablet for all users. I got the 128GB and 8GB of ram A9+ tablet for my dad who will only use it for media consumption, youtube, browsing the web etc. I used this tablet for a week to test it out and see if it's okay to use before giving it to him and coming from a S9+ user it has met my expectations. The screen is good enough even though it isn't a OLED, the colors are good and the resolution is fine. You can watch videos up to 1080 and it has a 90hz refresh rate. The battery is average if you're only watching videos and nothing power heavy it'll last about a day. I would recommond getting the 8GB ram option. I do not recommend this for gaming or if you're a heavy multi-task user. It's great how the A9+ comes with dex but for some reason samsung hasn't made a offical keyboard for it yet, even though it has the 3 pins at the bottom. Getting a bluetooth keyboard works just fine. The camera aren't good but that doesn't matter at all, it'll fine for zoom call meetings. After my week of using it for media comsumption, I believe it is a great optional for many users. But if you're a user who needs a budget tablet for school, note taking, multi-tasking, gaming or drawing I would recommond the S9FE or S9FE+. That tablet would suit your needs better than this one.
I mainly use my tablet for both gaming and watching videos and movies. Sometimes I'll also listen to music and browse the web.I find the tablet is a great device for personal entertainment. I love the screen size as well as tree memory and storage. Unfortunately from this model on you don't have an SD card that you can use as added storage.I would have preferred to have that as added storage for media of movies videos and music as well as audio books and pdf as well. Doing this has helped to keep my tablet in pristine condition.I do set it up to charge only up to 85%. I used to do 100% but I noticed that when this happens I can lose some life to the tablet because the tablet will begin bulging and a battery replacement is needed.I also recommend a good tablet bag to carry it in when you're traveling as well as getting an extra charger cable.Overall I do love the tablet and it's good to consider your uses and how long the tablets life is for battery and storage as it will then help you maximize your usage.Hope that is helpful for you.
This tablet is okay, there is nothing special that jumps out but its also not horrible to use. If you can catch it on sale its worth the price especially if you are comparing it to an amazon fire tablet. At the regular price I would look at a google pixel tablet.Setup was easy and the tablet updated right away. The screen is easy to read, watch tv, and play games. Battery life is actually great, I watched youtub tv for about 8 hours on a medium brightness and the battery still had plenty of life left. The built in speakers can get loud and did not distort at higher volume. Also, it does have a built-in headphone jack! I didn't realize this when I purchased but was so happy when I saw it. I wasn't expecting an award winning camera, but come on Samsung my old Galaxy note 8 took better pictures. The second reason, you cannot disable or delete the samsung galaxy app store. Its redundant to have two app stores. However, that's not the issue, at first the galaxy app was downloading random apps to the tablet. I was able to turn that off, but I still get notifications about apps I might like. I have not found a way to turn this off and its frustrating as I do not need "AD's" on my tablet.Lastly samsung UI is fine but the stock android UI is clean and just works. I personally have started migrating away from samsung products because of the skin they put over android that just slows down the phone. I would personally look at the google pixel tablet as you get the full android experience without the bloat that Samsung puts on their devices.I didn't buy this device to leave a bad review but wanted to be honest in my findings. I also have an ipad air and use the galaxy a9+ at work to watch movies/tv and play games once in a while and it works perfectly for that use.

And without risking the issues with cell phone and driving you really can't get notices alerts Interrupt you while you're driving.I had at least four Dunkin Donuts Three Burger King One mcdonald Numerous KFC and Popeye Wifi passwords. Not to mention many doctors dentist and hospitals allowed me to use like a phone And it's reasonable usage means a charge is necessary. Maybe every two days if you don't play massive amounts of games.Hardware Wise this product makes Samsung a contender for the tablet market, And if you do have a cell phone you could link this device to your cell phone and end up with a hands free device that can do everything your cell phone can do And in most civil fashion, Which includes using it as AGPS A text to speech Device so you don't have to lose your attention on the road And despite dropping it, many, many times it's gorilla glass was Indestructible. One day I'll return to Best Buy and have one of the geeks erase and reset it because I had so many hack programs and apps It became inoperable, It's OS in 2017 Leave the lot to be desired,Any of the programs were just put out for the device but it was such a good price for such a useful device But instead of throwing it out, I kept it because it's always an avenue to use such a nice, portable tab The A6.Maybe in the future I'll add a picture. You would not believe this thing has fallen so many times on concrete cement and other places that would have ruined an average smartphone.
I always wanted a Tab S series tablet but my budget kept me from getting one. After my tablet's 10" screen cracked, I had to choose a replacement. And it was time. My old 10" tablet was stuck on Android 10! It is late 2023 and, as I kept looking for a decent replacement, I kept seeing hints about the Galaxy Tab A series coming out with a new model. As soon as it became available in the US I began to compare it to the Tab S series and it had most feature that I wanted, except S-Pen support. I saw the offer for a free tent case/cover/stand and I pulled the trigger.Once in my hands I had to test it with my previous tablet and it surpassed it everywhere except the sound. One thing that was surprizing was the connectivity. Along with my Galaxy Book2 and S22 Ultra it was a dream come true. The Tab 9+ has a beautiful 11" screen, 8Gb RAM, 128Gb storage, expandable to 1Tb using a microSD card. But the best value was DeX. I can have multiple Apps in their own window. Windows Phone Link opened a use case that I had been wanting for the longest: Run native Android Apps on my PC. I put Android on my 43" display and I can interact with it with my Windows keyboard and mouse. Listen to it on the full sound speakers connected to the display. I only hope I can add a S-Pen to this set up, but content creation possibilities just grew exponentially. Kudos to Samsung for bringing so many features to a midrange tablet. I can't wait to see what can be done with a Galaxy S series tablet.
I bought this tablet from the official Samsung store. All my devices were purchased in the store itself.I initially bought a tablet to watch movies, since I travel a lot, and it would be more convenient for me to watch through a larger screen than on my Galaxy S 22 ultra phone.I looked at different versions of the Samsung tablet, I wanted a very simple one, but the system was good and fast. at that time the latest were the Tab A8 and S8. I looked for about 10 minutes and decided to buy it. And I didn’t regret it.You can even insert a SIM card here. I watch a lot of movies and TV series and the quality of the screen is a big plus. The sound is simply amazing, loud. I’ve been using it for half a year and my mother asked if I liked it, I said yes, everything is ... MoreI bought this tablet from the official Samsung store. The sound is simply amazing, loud. I’ve been using it for half a year and my mother asked if I liked it, I said yes, everything is great and we decided to buy it for her too. The price is not expensive, but it is of high quality. My headphones connect quickly and it's convenient. I advise everyone who wants to buy an inexpensive, but at least the most stable tablet.the program updates itself, and the system is checked every time and produces new versions, this is very convenient, you don’t have to do anything manually. I bought a case and a keyboard separately, and they connected very quickly and it’s convenient for me to study. I go to university, I see everyone has an Apple Tab, but I know it’s mineno worse.Samsung Tablet lasts longer, the batteries last me 2 days and charges even faster. It’s good that I didn’t buy a laptop, Samsung Tab best!!
