I purchased the tablet to be more productive when I'm away from my workstation and it's been better than expected. I design games and felt a tablet device with the ability to draw would be perfect for getting ideas down and working on sketches and documents when I'm away from my computer.I find the tablet is light and easy to carry around, and I don't have to worry about extra charging cables as it uses a USB C cable and I always have one in my bag for my phone. The tablet has performed well for me, and I've not seen or felt any issues or drawbacks whiles working on it. I've mainly used it to type up and edit documents which I expected the tablet to handle just fine. The real test for me was how it handles drawing and it has honestly performed better than I expected. The pressure, tilt and rotation recognition on the pen make for a natural and enjoyable experience. The tablet also handles well in 3D sculpting applications although I have not spent as much time in them as I have in drawing apps to experience any limitations if there are any.The storage capacity was a concern with the device until I saw it has a slot for a micro sd card. The only other concerns I have are how long the pen and pen tip will each last but only time will tell.I highly recommend this tablet to anyone who needs a portable drawing device or a device for light workloads when away from their main PC.

However, it's a minor issue and doesn't detract from the overall experience. Conclusion:The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) is a fantastic tablet that offers great value for its price. It's a worthy competitor to other tablets in its range. If you're in the market for a reliable and feature-packed tablet, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Kudos to Best Buy for offering such a gem!

This tablet is getting too much hate from uninformed users. So here is an honest take from someone who also uses S22 Ultra and the 10th gen iPad (for work).Relative to its price, this is an excellent tablet. The spen works great and I've had absolutely no issues with it. If you are experiencing accidental touches like another user is here, then you can disable the touch feature while using the S-pen through the app you're using. Also, don't use the S-pen like some brute otherwise you will definitely break the tip like some other user here. If you insist on pressing hard, you can always buy a Wacom One pen (make sure it's that model) and it will work with all Samsung s-pen devices. Personally, the S-Pen feels better. The performance on the tablet is fine for what ... MoreThis tablet is getting too much hate from uninformed users. Personally, the S-Pen feels better. The performance on the tablet is fine for what it is. You won't get the blistering speeds of the S8 tablets, but you're also paying less than half the price. I noticed it begins to struggle with more than 4 tabs on the browser, and playing Civilization 6 on it (a CPU intensive game) is fine alhtough it does become a bit sluggish as you reach endgame.I use it as a notebook and for media consumption as well as for some work (invoices, documents, etc) and that works fine for my needs. I do play games on it occasionally and it delivers. How does it compare to the iPad 10th gen? The iPad is definitely faster, but it's also hundreds more and the pen, which isn't included, isn't as good. If your budget is only $400-$500 then this is the best tablet you can buy. The only other option would be to get the Tab S8.

Bought this to upgrade my son's tablet to one with an S Pen to help him in school. He went from an OG Galaxy Tab S 10in wife passed down to him a few years back to this and what a difference. You can see how far and fast they've come since that tablet came out 10 years or more ago.He uses this tablet for everything from learning cursive to math studies and even writing school work and essays. Then he prints out what he needs for school and it's a breeze. He says his school work is so much easier to do with this tablet. Granted it's only 5th grade work. But it's taught him how to organize his time and make study schedules and even help him prepare for tests. He loves to write and draw and the S Pen gives him that ability unlike the older tablet, you could but it ... MoreBought this to upgrade my son's tablet to one with an S Pen to help him in school. Real easy to knock it loose and have it fall off. We had to purchase a case with an S Pen holder so it has an actual place to sit where it won't get easily lost.Otherwise the tablet is a great budget minded tablet with an actual pen like the higher end tablets have. Really nice to see Samsung put these out for those who don't need the frills of the big money tablets and us cost minded parents can help out our kids with these. Great investment for school kids.
Taking notes on a tablet has revolutionized how I study.I'm an engineering student and found myself taking a lot of notes in a wide array of my classes. From sketching graphs to writing equations, I would burn through pages of my notebooks and wanted to see if I could find a more efficient way to store and access my notes so I could go back and study them. I turned to a rocketbook notebook for a minute, but I felt that I could still find something better that wouldn't cost me a chunk of a semester's tuition, and that's when I found this.I opted for this over an iPad due to three key reasons.• I'm already in the Android & Windows ecosystem• It's on the more affordable end of tablets with a digitizer (smart pen compatibility)• It INCLUDES the pen (iPads don't ... MoreTaking notes on a tablet has revolutionized how I study.I'm an engineering student and found myself taking a lot of notes in a wide array of my classes. I only charged it like twice a week and it more than made it through my classes. Digital notes can be a complete game changer and this tablet is at the perfect price to experiment as to if they are for you, and they were for me.I use Samsung's integrated notes taking app which I have installed both on my phone and on my laptop so I can pull up my notes at any given time, and my own color coding system lets me skim through information I need to quickly.• Eating lunch and want to study but not pull out all of your notes? Pull them up on your phone!• Already packed up but want to share the notes you took on your tablet with a friend? No worries you can open the app and send them your notes as a PDF!• Need to be able to go through your notes quickly? Color code them to your own taste and you'll learn to spot key information.

This tablet is a great value and can do most things that I needed for work. The pen is a huge plus. The tablet is a great size and weight. The pen adds endless new features for those that normally don’t purchase the pen. Most past models didn’t come with the pen. The speed and accuracy of the pen is also better than previous Samsung models as well. It’s great for putting in a protective case with an adjustable strap on the back to allow the tab to be held with one hand and to use the pen with the other.A few downsides I noticed by going with a less expensive tablet; The first thing I noticed right away was the screen quality. It looks cheap. The resolution is low, the screen appears to not be backlight and the contrast is poor. It’s definitely not made for entertainment purposes. It’s a productivity tool… if you want something for videos for a lower price I’d recommend a fire tablet. They are limited but made for movies (and shopping on Amazon of course). The screen reminded me of lcd screens from back in the day. The white colors are not as bright and the black colors appear grayish. Color seems a little washed. Also the speed of the tablet is slower. It lags. It seems to be a bit glitchy or jumpy. This could have to do with most of the hard drive being filled with proprietary software Samsung automatically downloads before you can even use the Tablet. With so little space leftover it would make sense to take longer to access files and longer to load. I definitely wouldn’t get the lowest Hard Drive option. The ram could have to do with the jumpy screen and speed. The ram limits the amount of programs that can be run at the same time so multi tasking gets irritating when your already multitasking your mind, you probably want a tool that can keep up and allow your creativity to flow and not lose your thoughts while your tablet is chugging along to try and keep up.The refresh rate is low. Movies are very jumpy and not smooth like on your tv or phone.Processor speed seems to be okay. I don’t think this is an issue. Also the battery is pretty good. The tablet doesn’t get hot either or not at least that I noticed. For me I could deal with these drawbacks but I needed one feature that was a dealbreaker for me…I needed to be able to use the camera option for posting photos. The apps that I was using on my Apple products allowed me to choose a photo to upload from photo library or saved files. The Samsung Tab has these 2 options. But I primarily used the upload method not available allowing me to upload via my camera allowing me to post a new photo/video using the camera instantly instead of having to take photos and find them in my photo library, then choose the ones I wanted having to reopen them because the thumbnails are too small. That might be minor to a lot of people, however, I upload photos to apps all day for work and it’s just much easier and faster to upload straight from my camera instantly. It’s not necessarily a feature that Samsung didn’t mean to not be available- I think it has more to do with the Android tablet software.
I am conflicted about this tablet because on one hand I like it and on other hand, I wish it was more. The already good experience with S6 Lite makes me wonder how much better is Tab S8.Here are things that I like about S6 LiteS-pen support (it comes in the box). It is so good, and I dare to say it is the best in the business. Writing feels natural. There is no latency and screen feel soft to touch just like if you were writing on regular paper. Handwriting recognition works well, and I rarely need to make corrections. Samsung apps that come pre-installed on the tablet are useful. Everything just flows naturally with s-pen on the tablet, and I find myself using s-pen 90% of the time, even for things like scrolling through webpages. I also use Microsoft office 365 which has s-pen support out of the box. I can edit PDF files, write notes in OneNote (although I wish OneNote had more options like on PC). So, in summary I find S-pen surprisingly useful and easy to use.Integration with Samsung phone. I use Samsung flow to connect the tablet and my phone together. I own Samsung Laptop and I find Samsung flow unnecessary on PC (because of Microsoft Phone Link) but the app is actually very useful when used with Samsung Tablet.I get all messages, notifications from the phone right on the tablet. I can control phone from the tablet (through screen casting) and even make call and send text messages. Call quality is actually very good. I did make few calls for testing, and I could hear people well and I was told that my voice quality was very good as well. You do not need to have your phone next to you when you have the tablet and it is kind of cool to talk to people through the tablet and at the same time make notes of the conversation in Samsung Notes. The tablet is lite, it is comfortable to hold, screen is nice and bright, speaker audio quality is crisp, and speakers are loud. The tablet provides good experience for media consumption like Netflix or YouTubeBattery is good. It will last all day without need of recharging. Here are things that I wish were betterI wish the tablet had display with 120Hz refresh rate. I have Samsung phone that has 120hz display and in comparison, scrolling through webpages feel choppy on S6 LiteI wish that this tablet had faster processor and more RAM. Qualcomm 720G is improvement over 2020 version but it is still lower hardware specs on this is especially noticeable while surfing the internet. I tried Edge, Samsung Browser, Firefox but they all feel just okey borderline sluggish. My Samsung phone is noticeably faster. I wish Samsung had another version of this tablet with more RAM and more powerful processor.I wish there was version of this tablet with LTE connectivity. I do not understand why midrange tablet like this does not get to have LTE but the cheapest of the cheapest A series tablet do. If you need LTE then you can either accept cheap Samsung Tab A or just go with Apple. I think Samsung is shooting itself in the foot, especially with business customers.Overall, this is good product considering its price but if you find yourself using this tablet a lot for work, productivity tasks then it might be better to invest more money and just get S8 that has twice as much RAM, way much faster processor, a little bit bigger screen, updated S-pen and bigger battery.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tablet! It's a good size, has a beautiful display, pretty wallpaper, although I added a cool picture for the lock screen because it should be darker. It has a metal cabinet (although I got a heavy duty case with a built in screen protector for it), a nice sculpted logo, not the stamped on kind, dual, nice sounding speakers, smooth, sensitive touch, quick response, easy to press buttons, and fast wifi. It has excellent battery life and charges fairly quickly. It charges at 15 watts, so get a better charger than the 7.75 watt charger that it comes with. It fast charges but won't super fast charge. I played my games on it for several weeks and it's great. No lag. If I didn't have 3 tablets already, I would get one for myself.I bought this for ... MoreI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tablet! I think she'll love it and do well with it. I set all of the settings, added apps, set them all up, and since it's the same OS as her phone, she will be familiar with it, but I made instructions on how to do everything. She won't be using the pen, but she can watch her YouTube videos (she has an account), other videos, listen to the radio, look at the weather, get directions on Google Maps and Mapquest, do her e-mail, video chat with the grand kids, and search for whatever she searches for. I can't say enough how much I LOVE this tablet! It's going to hard to hand it over to her when her birthday comes, lol!

Its lightweight construction makes it easy to carry around, yet it still feels robust in hand. The 10.4-inch display provides ample space for productivity and entertainment without compromising on portability.Display and Visuals (4.5/5):The vivid display is a standout feature. Colors are vibrant, and the resolution is sharp, making it a pleasure to watch movies or browse through photos. While it might not match the absolute top-tier tablets in terms of brightness, for everyday use, it's more than sufficient.Performance (4.5/5):The Exynos 9611 chipset handles multitasking smoothly, and apps load quickly. Whether it's web browsing, document editing, or casual gaming, the Tab S6 Lite consistently performs admirably. However, demanding tasks or heavy gaming might push its limits.S Pen Integration (5/5):The inclusion of the S Pen stylus is a game-changer. It's precise, responsive, and a joy to use for note-taking, sketching, and navigating the interface. The S Pen integration truly sets this tablet apart and adds a layer of functionality that's unmatched in its price range.Battery Life (4/5):The battery life is commendable, easily lasting a full day of moderate use. However, if you're engaged in intensive tasks or gaming, you might find yourself reaching for the charger sooner.Software and UI (4.5/5):Samsung's One UI is intuitive and user-friendly. It's a clean and polished interface that enhances the overall user experience. The Android ecosystem also provides a wide range of apps for both work and play.Audio Quality (4/5):The dual speakers deliver clear sound with decent volume. While it's not audiophile-grade, it's more than adequate for watching videos and casual music playback.Camera Performance (3.5/5):Tablet cameras are seldom their strongest suit, and the Tab S6 Lite is no exception. The rear camera captures decent photos in good lighting conditions, but it struggles in low-light scenarios. The front camera is suitable for video calls and casual selfies. Conclusion:The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is an excellent mid-range tablet that punches above its weight. With a captivating display, responsive S Pen, and solid performance, it's well-suited for both productivity and entertainment. If you're seeking a budget-friendly option without compromising on features, this tablet is a top contender.
