Excellent tablet for play or work. Decent amount of space on the 128gb version. The 64gb can't fit a lot but you can install a microSD card for added memory. It gives you an option for mounting, but don't forget to unmount if replacing it or you risk damaging the data. The screen resolution is fantastic. The screen responsiveness is excellent even with a screen protector installed. Definitely recommend getting a case for protection, it feels lightweight so it probably needs the drop protection. It doesn't overheat after long usage, which is a problem I've noticed with other brands I've tested. The battery lasts fairly long and varies by app usage aka games drain it faster. I used the "save battery" option to prolong its lifespan. This sets the percentage to a max of 85% so you don't get a complete charge, but it shows like 100%. It didn't come with a ton of software installed, which I like, and most of it can be disabled if necessary. I was worried the "lite" version wouldn't be as powerful or as fast as the regular versions but it is fairly close. I tested game play and work apps, both worked great and I didn't notice slowdowns. Connectivity is good too. Recommend purchasing through the physical store as I saw a lot of comments about broken screens when shipping.

I purchased this tablet six months ago. I use it mostly to check emails, browse the web, and watch movies and TV. It has worked reasonably well for those functions, and I do think the sound quality is very good. However, the nib on my S pen suddenly came loose, making it unusable even though it was seldom used (and very gently) in the few months I have had it. I contacted Walmart and was told they could not do anything because I don’t have a protection plan.Personally, I do not think that I should have to buy a protection plan from Walmart to cover a defective product. Walmart should stand behind their products and take responsibility when those products do not live up to reasonable expectations. The Walmart rep suggested contacting Samsung, so I did, and was ... MoreI purchased this tablet six months ago. A bargain price is not always as good as it seems. The phrase “you get what you pay for” seems to apply here.2. In the future I will try to purchase electronics from small businesses, because they usually take more pride in their products and accept accountability when those products are defective.Customer service may still exist somewhere, but not at a corporation like Walmart (or Samsung).

I ordered this tablet because I bought a TCL TabMax 10.4 and Vudu, YouTube, and Tubi would lag in streaming and to replace my Lenovo M10 Plus 1st gen. I figured it was time to upgrade my Lenovo since that only has 2gb of ram and only an HD display. So far, this tablet is working great for my video streaming. It can play Netflix in FHD and Vudu in HDX. I don't know how good it is for gaming since I don't do gaming on mobile devices, I have an Xbox for that. This tablet got the Android 14 One UI 14 update out of the box. I figured it would since it was made in 2022, and Samsung does updates because my phone got the same update a while back. This tablet has two speakers with Dolby Atmos. It sounds great when you're close to it. This tablet has two speakers with Dolby Atmos. It sounds great when you're close to it. Who's going to be watching the tablet across a room anyway, so the sound will be perfect. The only complaint is there is no screen mode like my phone has where you can select natural or vivid. Some of the colors from some streaming apps colors are going to look washed out like The Walking Dead on Vudu. It's not an annoyance to me, but I wish Samsung had screen mode for this tablet. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has 4gb of ram, which probably would work for light gaming. The stylus pen doesn't need to be charged, which I would like to know how that works when you press the button on the S pen. This tablet came with an app called PenUp. It has multiple coloring and drawing features. It'll come in handy for kids to keep them busy. Overall, I'm really pleased with this tablet. I should have gotten this tablet in the first place.

I've been wanting a tablet for reading, art, and on the go editing, note taking etc. But didn't want to break the bank.If you have similar needs, I think this will be a great tablet for you and worth exploring. The size is roomy without feeling bulky and its slim yet feels sturdy. I love that it has expandable storage as well! It's not going to be able to use all the apps out there due to compatibility and specs, but I've downloaded and searched the store apps for pretty intense apps - including 3D sculpting - and was compatible. The S pen is really fun. I haven't used it much for doodling yet, but note taking has been a breeze EVEN with a screen protector on.Battery life has been pretty awesome as well, I've been using it off and on for various lite tasks ... MoreI've been wanting a tablet for reading, art, and on the go editing, note taking etc. But didn't want to break the bank.If you have similar needs, I think this will be a great tablet for you and worth exploring. The size is roomy without feeling bulky and its slim yet feels sturdy. I haven't used it much for doodling yet, but note taking has been a breeze EVEN with a screen protector on.Battery life has been pretty awesome as well, I've been using it off and on for various lite tasks and has now hit 50% after about 3 or 4 days. If I would have played games or watched videos, I'm sure it would be far less, but this is after some note taking and downloading apps.I rated 4 stars mainly because I didn't use this FULLY yet, and I do think it could be a "little" cheaper for what you're getting in terms of size and specs.Still, I would recommend this tablet to the average user, or hobbyist artist / freelancer. Get something more powerful if you are a full blown artist/designer. Easily the most satisfied I've been with "entry" level tablets.
I have a few Samsung Galaxy tablets that I genuinely adore. My father also owns a Galaxy tablet, and he purchased the Tab S6 Lite for my mother. But if it does I'll be stoked.

Whether you are an artist or just want to pass the time coloring an existing image this app is fun and creative! There are some things to improve on this tablet. It is than slower than expected task processing wise. I will open something and it will take a 5 or so seconds. Sometimes it glitches and freezes. The start up when you turn it on is too long. My wife has a kindle fire and that is lighting quick. There is no reason that this tablet shouldn't be as fast as a kindle. There should be better integration of the Spen with the device. The magnetic factor is not enough, the pen still falls off. Maybe make a holder that's integrated in the device. I realize you can buy a case, and most people do.
We are a Samsung family, so we knew we wanted a Samsung device for our daughter when she got old enough for a "big girl" tablet. The functions and controls were very easy for her to learn, and she has become quite the expert at just six years old. She uses it to play games like Minecraft and watch movies and shows on long trips. She does IXL lessons and even reads books on it. The display is brilliant which is perfect, because one of the main reasons we bought her a tablet is to practice drawing. The screen responds very well to the stylus. Finally, it has held up perfectly (with a case of course) against a rowdy six year old.I have the device connected to my Google Family Link for parental controls, which does not meet my standards, but that's Google. The S6 Lite is lightweight, with a portable size and clear screen images. I miss the in-device storage for the pen that my phone offers, but that's easily solved with a case that has a pen slot.I wanted a tablet particularly for music at my piano, and it's been great for that. I simply scan the music and keep my entire library available in the cloud so it can be go anywhere with me.I also use the tablet to stream video from apps or even my home DVR. One is that the Lite is slow at power on, especially when an update runs. I've also had difficulty with a couple of app features that seem readily available in other devices. But in fairness, I'm somewhat of a power user, and for most users these things will be a worthwhile tradeoff for the reduced price. My next device will be a higher level one, but if you want a basic to medium-level tablet with beautiful screen at a lower price, the Lite is a good choice.
I use my Tablet, synced with My Note20 phone, to completely replace my laptop. Between the 2 I can do anything! I can watch a movie or TV show at night just beautifully on my TabS6. Gaming on this tablet is AWESOME! from shooting, racing, card, puzzle, mysteries, seek and find and tower defense. I even rock my Squad Busters and Mighty Quest on here. Oh yes, reading and listening to music is pretty wonderful too. I have loved tech since my first 256mb, floppydisk, mainly dos computer I had a few lifetimes ago. I am a Samsung customer for now. For the past 15 years. For the foreseeable future.I respect Samsung as a company. They work with other companies, not only to get their products, but others too. To not only fix apps for themselves, but other companies. Can't say that about most other companies like their's.
I've always been a samsung guy for phones, but this tablet is the perfect addition to my Samsung collection.
