I LOVE this tablet!It's so easy to use. I've not had any issues at all with it. I'm making leaps and bounds in my progress. It honestly feels like until now, i've been missing something, but now i've found it in this tablet. I've been keen on a laptop replacement for a while now and had previously tried the Tab S7+. Although that was a fantastic addition, it felt like it fell ever so slightly short of replacing my laptop.With the 14.6" display, Samsung Dex and a fantastic keyboard+touchpad (also due to the increased size), this is now an android powerhouse capable of tackling any productivity tasks I throw at it.The battery so far has been nothing short of phenomenal and any gaming/multimedia consumption I've thrown at it was handled superbly.The time of Android productivity laptop replacements is now!5/5 Highly recommended.

I ended up with a faulty one to start with which was not the best experience with samsung technical, eventually i got it replaced and all was good again. Battery life could be better but it's a monster size! And plenty of power. Multitasking since update is great. Just wish they did updates more frequently

Great features advertised. At £1400 for the 512g version I was looking forward to using it. It is rather cumbersome and certainly not really useful as a tablet. The S pen is connected by magnets at the rear for charging or on the top (when used in landscape) but does not charge it. It requires a case to keep the SPen sa which Samsung sell for an additional £299. I have learnt from YouTube that everyone and their dog was offer it free at time of purchase but here in the UK you have to pay extra ontop of the already high price. Just feel very ripped off.
This is my 5th Tab S. Since the S2, S3, S4, S6 & now S8 Ultra.Each one just gets better. I'm pleased that the facial camera is now in the long top edge. Much better for Skype & Teams etc meetings. The extra size meets my needs too.Impressed with the smooth graphics capabilities. Not generally a gaming fan, but Mahjong is great on this.The keyboard cover does exactly what I want & the track pad adds to its use.
Just a very quick review to say I feel silly for how long it took me to get this tablet. I use this for work as a structural engineer, marking up drawings, sketches and even design calculations. The biggest hurdle for me working from home was printing and scanning, this completely removed that requirement. Now I write on pdf's with the ultra responsive pen, with no lag!Highly Recommend this for the professional and I also use it for the kids homeworks.ThanksStephen
Huge screen, great quality.Very nimble.The workmanship is beyond praise.The response of the stylus is very nimble.The stylus sits very firmly on the case, while charging.It looks cool and expensive, the iPad pro does not create such an effect compared to the sub.
I've compared Samsung Tab S8 Ultra with Apple iPad Pro 2022 (owned by my friends). Me and my friends agreed that display quality of Samsung is better. We've used the same images for testing.Samsung S Pen is more ergonomic rather than Apple Pencil. So you have more joy to draw with Samsung Pen.This is my honest personal opinion. From the sheer vibrant screen size, the sturdy but thin design, to the internals (surprisingly full sound from the speakers, 12gb ram, fast processor & SD card support), I'd say it's the first device (phone or tablet) that deserves the 'Ultra' label.The only minor issues I have are software related, the 1st is One UI home screen doesn't directly support custom icon packs like most launchers, I know it's possible to add them with the theme manager but it's such an unnecessary extra process. It was great for a month. Now it glitches. Menus pop up and off randomly The keyboard slides ( for £300 this is terrible) Idd things like using S pen when you click screen write it takes a screenshot and freezes in the middle of a zoom call so my online lessons as a tutor then freeze. I understand why people get iPads now. It's a beautiful looking package but the experience just isn't streamlined and for £1399 this is the biggest Rio off my life....and I've been a Samsung user for years. Time to change
