I had high expectations for the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic, and what first caught my eye was the return of the rotating bezel. The last time I saw this feature was back on my old Galaxy Watch 2, and it's been sorely missed every since!Straight out of the box, the Watch6 Classic is stunning. It looks and feels like a high quality product, and the way it's presented in the box is excellent. The leather strap is also a really nice addition, and helps to reinforce this theme of quality. Couple this with the polished black metal and crystal clear display, you can be confident in this device turning some heads.Setup was an absolute breeze. Couple this with the polished black metal and crystal clear display, you can be confident in this device turning some heads.Setup was an absolute breeze. Going from a Watch5, the Galaxy Wearable app found my new watch and asked if I wanted everything copying over from my old device. This took a matter of minutes and before I knew it my Watch6 was snuggly strapped to my wrist and fully operational. Aside from having to add some minor preferences, it was a seamless transition. The actual watch itself has met and exceeded my expectations in terms of usability. It lasts all day, and then some. Although I don't like sleeping with watches on my wrist, I'm confident the battery would last all day and night before needing a charge. Which leads nicely onto the charging speed - it's lightning quick. I've often taken my watch off at the end of the day (at around 50%), put it on the charger and received a notification saying it's fully charged within 15 mins or so.Everything about this watch feels like an upgrade from the previous version. And although it does the same as the Watch5, the return of the bezel is what really sets it apart. The fact you can navigate the watch using something physical is a really nice addition, and I find myself using that exclusively over the touch screen. The buttons on the side have had a small update too, as they seem more pronounced but aren't in the way, thanks to the bumper placed between them. All in all, the Watch6 Classic is an outstanding smart watch. It flawlessly achieves everything you'd expect from a device like this, and has improved on the already outstanding build quality, with the return of some old features and some new bells and whistles (sapphire crystal display). If you're in the market for a smart watch, this is definitely a good place to be.

I was already using the Galaxy Watch 4 for last 2 years but when I saw the Galaxy Watch 6, I really wanted to try this one and as soon as it was available, I ordered it.As soon as I unboxed it and set it up, I could clearly see that the Galaxy Watch 6 is a vast improvement compared to the Galaxy Watch 4. Gone are the bulky bezels, which really bothered me on my watch 4, reduced by 30% alongside a 20% increase in screen size to fill the space. The larger screen just makes the watch feel more complete and everything benefits from the change. Watch faces look better, it’s now easier to read the information on the watch, and there are fewer chances of accidentally touching something you didn’t mean to on the screen. Watch faces look better, it’s now easier to read the information on the watch, and there are fewer chances of accidentally touching something you didn’t mean to on the screen. The display itself is brighter, which makes it incredibly easy to read outdoors. The watch is however noticeably heavier, weighing 59 grams compared to the Watch 4’s 46.5 grams. The stainless steel build should help resist minor scratches over time.I really liked that Wear OS 4 has introduced a dedicated WhatsApp app for smartwatches (which isn’t currently available on the other watches), new Tiles for Spotify, and an overhaul to the Google Calendar Wear OS app. There are some minor issues I noticed, for instance, when I tried switching on the watch’s ‘Theatre Mode’ during a film, I was then prompted to run through steps to set it up on my phone. It’s not ideal when you are already in the theatre.I was really impressed by the speed of the UI. Everything from scrolling through menus to jumping into apps runs smoothly. The rotating bezel is really amazing and the tactile feedback of the bezel's rotation is a unique characteristic. Its utility becomes evident during usage and I really can’t understand how Samsung removed this feature from their watches. The primary concern for me was its battery. While the battery is smaller than Watch 5 Pro, it can last a full day even with all features in use, including the always-on display. I was able to extend it to 1.5 days without the always-on display which is not great but not a deal breaker as well. The Watch 6 Classic also offers a couple of new health related features. Firstly, there's the irregular heart rate notification, and secondly, the on-device sleep coach for more insightful sleep analysis. I found both of these features to be really useful & have used them a few times already.Considering all the new features, it's certainly a worthwhile upgrade if you are coming from Watch 4.

I've only had a Fitbit before so this smart watch in the form of Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 was bound to open many doors. I found it easy to set up, do the initial body composition analysis etc. In the beginning I was using the watch mainly for fitness and activity tracking as well as sleep analysis. On that basis, the watch lasted aroun 1.5 days from full charge, which I felt was decent. The watch lets you customise it in various ways - for example, you can reorganise the apps screen so that it makes sense to you and the apps you use the most. You can also organise the tile so that functions you use/refer to the most are easily accessible. This was especially helpful for voice recording function for me.Not to mention the aesthetic aspect of it. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to watch faces and can cater for various outfits from the most sporty casual to the most classic formal. There's a good range of straps and I have already accumulated titanium bracelet chain, original leather-looking silicone as well as the D-buckle band in etoupe. The watch face that is made of sapphire crystal glass seemed sturdy. After weeks of use, it's still as pristine as ever with a quick wipe. I also very much liked the rotating bezel element - not only does it make the watch look more classic, it is rather intuitive when navigating on the watch.Thereafter, once I got exploring more, I have made use of various settings to make my life easier. These included setting up to receive notifications from my phone (but not when my phone was on and being used), SmartLock function which keeps my phone unlocked whenver the watch is nearby and the single biggest convenience element which is Google Pay. With this, I could genuinely leave my house without my purse as I could pay for everything with my watch.Overall, very happy that I've added this little beauty on my wrist that offers health monitoring as well as many convenient and liberating features.

I previously owned a Galaxy Watch 2, and this is a real step up in terms of aesthetics, ergonomics, usability and functionality. The display is clear and super vivid, even in bright sunlight, the out of the box strap is comfortable and doesn't feel clammy on the skin, and I absolutely love the bevelled watch face rim that allows for easy navigation between tiles and within apps. The watch has a really nice balanced weight when on the wrist.Setup of the watch was straightforward, and I didn't encounter any problems; I paired the watch with my Android mobile phone, downloaded the watch software on my phone, signed into my Google account, selected the apps that I wanted to install, and was away. The whole process took no longer than a few minutes. Connecting to wifi and pairing to my bluetooth headset was easy, as was adding payment cards to my Google wallet.Samsung offers an excellent selection of digital and analogue watch faces for every taste, as well as a good number of useful third-party apps including ‘no brainers’ like Strava and Spotify.Security features are really good; I really like that I'm promoted to authenticate only when the watch has been removed from my wrist, and I was able to configure whether I wanted to authenticate using a pin or swipe pattern. The one gripe that I have with the watch is its battery life - I've found that with moderate use the watch needs to be charged every day. However, display options and a 'battery saving' mode are available, which I suspect would significantly reduce battery consumption, and the wireless recharging itself is lightening quick - a notable improvement over other smart watched that I've used. All in all, I’m delighted with this watch!
It has been years since I used a smartwatch, they were slow, the battery couldn’t last the day and they lacked what I would deem essential apps. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm doesn't have any of these issues. I’ve been wearing it for just over a week now and whilst not perfect it I can see myself wearing it for quite some time. To start with the good points and what you notice straight away is the screen; it is bright, vivid and sharp. Next the rotating bezel is so nice to have the scroll is tactile and makes a quiet but satisfying click as you turn it. Battery life is fantastic charging it to 80% in the morning and it lasts all day and night even with always on display and constant heart rate monitoring enabled. Hooking up my Bluetooth earphones to it, downloading my favourite playlist on YouTube Music (Premium required) and going for a run, it was refreshing not having to carry my phone with me.The not so good, it’s a big watch, I'm using the 47mm model and you don’t easily forget you’re wearing it. I would suggest unless you have LARGE wrists to go for the 43mm model, you’ll take a hit on battery size but that should balance out due to the smaller screen. The stress monitoring app is so inaccurate it’s not even a gimmick. Writing this review the stress bar is maxed out which is wrong and when I’m working and actually stressed it says I’m calm, basically the complete inverse. The blood pressure and ECG apps require a Samsung phone to use them for some unexplained reason, all other heath apps can be downloaded from the Play store. On the whole a very good Android based smartwatch that is basically perfect if you have a Samsung phone and large wrists or purchase the 43mm model.
First impressions count, and this is a large watch, at 47mm, it looks stylish and premium but looks large if you have small wrists. It comes with a charging puck but can be wirelessly charged on some Samsung devices. The watch comes with pretty much all the health features you could want, body composition, ECG, blood pressure, stress, sleep tracking as well as the usual exercise tracking. The display is clear, bright and legible in all lighting conditions with it being 1.36 AMOLED display, and the band that comes with the watch is sports style inside with a faux leather outside, and is interchangeable via a button on each strap (it is compatible with all watch 4 and 5 bands too). The watch supports LTE so if your provider supports you can leave your phone at home ... MoreFirst impressions count, and this is a large watch, at 47mm, it looks stylish and premium but looks large if you have small wrists. All notifications are clearly displayed and within the app you can control which ones get sent to your watch. Being WearOS as well as the watch coming with several stunning faces from Samsung you can also download many more 3rd party ones from the play store. As with every wearable there are some areas where improvements could be made, namely battery life, with the always on display on expect to get a day to 1.5 days nothing more, with this off you can just about get 2 days between charges, which is not bad but isn’t an improvement on earlier models. Some of the features like stress tracking and body composition seem a little gimmicky, stress can go from one end to the other within seconds, so take their values with a pinch of salt.Overall, it is probably the best WearOS watch available and if you have a Samsung Mobile a match made (some features as Samsung mobile only like EGC and Blood Pressure)
Have had the watch for almost a week and this is my first smart watch. As stated by the professional reviewers the battery life can be below expectations. Using the watch during the day surprisingly doesn't run down the battery that much and probably would last three days but the sleep analysis function uses about 30 to 40% in a night even though the screen is never on. The watch is constantly analyzing the sleep patterns and oxygen level and these sensors must take a lot of power. It works even if the phone is up and uploads the data when you turn the phone back on.I expected that this phone would measure blood pressure based on YouTube videos even from Samsung but that feature is not approved for US use but is approved in Canada and that is where the BestBuy ... MoreHave had the watch for almost a week and this is my first smart watch. That video and the one from Samsung should point out that this feature is not available in the use.The fall detection activation software interface has to be done on the phone and not that watch. I called Samsung support because I couldn't find it and they couldn't figure it out. They said it may show up in a future software update. In reality the software that is on the watch changed the interface so look for it on the phone. Use the Wear app/watch settings/safety and emergency to turn fall detection on.The sleep detection and interaction with Samsung health are wonderful and works much better than having it just on the phone in addition to a lot more functionality some of the data has to viewed on the phone. The app support on the watch is limited and the email has to be done through MS outlook with the app on the watch when you get it. The setup has to be done on the phone. It works well for gmail but I also have a AOL account and that one will only show focused inbox messages and no matter what I do will not show all of them on the watch even though they show up on the phone. My suggestion is that you analyze your sleep for a week and then turn off the watch at night after that unless you need constant sleep analysis for some reason to safe the battery. Although it isn't that annoying to wear the watch while sleeping it is more comfortable without it.
I am not new to Samsung galaxy watches having owned the previous Galaxy Watch 5. When the watch 6 classic arrived I was surprised how minimalist the package it comes in was, I literally just had to break the security seals and then pop the box open and their the watch was no messing around having to remove loads of packaging. Setting up the watch was very easy especially since I had the galaxy wear app installed on my phone due to already owning a watch 5. I love the rotating bezel it makes scrolling through notifications so much easier than having to swipe along using my fingers. I find the battery life to be very good lasting an average of around 40 hours before needing to be charged which suits my needs. The health apps/features on the watch are great from constantly recording my heart rate automatically to being able to carry out and ECG whenever I feel the need to. I also love the blood pressure monitor feature however you do need to use a proper cuff based blood pressure monitor to set it up and then re-calibrate it once a month. Comparing the blood pressure data I get from the watch against a proper blood pressure monitor gives me pretty much the same results so the blood pressure feature on the watch seems to be accurate. The sleep feature is great showing me a breakdown on the samsung health app of the different stages of sleep I had on that particular night and giving me a sleep score based on the data the watch has collected.Overall I love this watch especially the big 47mm size and the rotating bezel which makes using the watch so much easier.
Now this is a premium device. A true Rolls Royce of a watch. I was worried that the watch might be a little too big as I went for the 47mm version, which is the largest available but it is a nice size and it just feels so solid and weighty. I went for the silver and it is a gorgeous watch, instantly getting comments from people who are seeing it for the first time. The spinning dial and buttons are extremely satisfying to use and the whole design is just top notch engineering. Feature wise it has everything you want or need from a watch. There are too many apps to list but all the standard health and fitness, messaging, entertainment apps are there and with the larger face, gorgeous screen and precision interaction it is a dream to use. There are too many apps to list but all the standard health and fitness, messaging, entertainment apps are there and with the larger face, gorgeous screen and precision interaction it is a dream to use. I was concerned that the touch screen aspect would be too finicky and I would just use it for the basics but I find myself replying to messages the precision on the touchscreen is that good. Obviously it has all the customisation you could want, from alternative watch faces to replacement straps plus an incredible amount of customisation is available via the settings with a healthy amount of accessibility options to boot. Smart watches really have come a long way and the Samsung 6 is at the pinnacle. If I had one minor concern it would be battery life. I do want everything on all the time. There is a feature where you can limit it to just being a watch, this will give you over 2 weeks of battery life and there are lots of options to turn things off to get to your desired battery life but I like all the bells and whistles on all the time. 36 hours is great but there is just that nag that I have to charge it for 15-30 mins every day at some stage. It truly is a minor gripe and with some tweaking I am sure I can get it to over 2 days without sacrificing much but in summary, this is an amazing watch and I couldn't recommend it enough.
