The latest Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event saw the unveiling of the latest Samsung foldables. The Z Flip 4 and the flagship model Z Fold 4 showcase Samsung's dominance in foldable device manufacturing. The Z Fold 4 is slightly thinner and lighter than its predecessor and the phone both looks and feels like a premium flagship device. With a foldable phone, the main focus has to be the display. Samsung has been known for years as the manufacturer of some of the best display technology in the world and the Z fold 4 does not disappoint. The device has a 7.6" foldable dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz main display while the cover display is a 6.2" AMOLED 2x 120Hz display covered in Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. With foldable phones the durability of the display is paramount, and Samsung boasted having improved the durability of the main display by as much as 40%. You can also use a S-pen with the main display although the pen is sold separately. Samsung has also improved the software especially around multitasking on the phablet. These tweaks, improved performance, better durability and a sleeker form factor make the Z Fold 4 again arguably the best foldable device on the market.
