Pros: This display misses several of the common issues I have with displays: * The ports are facing downwards, so it can be wall-mounted closely without crushing the cables, * The VESA mount is a 100x100 that is not recessed into the display - my U28E590D had to have a spacer because the bottom of the display stuck out past the VESA mount. * Supports 4K60 over both the DP and one HDMI port * This display runs on 19VDC 3.10A; the included adapter is a little bulky and is in a 'wall-wart style'. Cons: * For some reason, the VESA mount is again off-centre, slightly below the centre of the display. If you're trying to line up multiple different displays, this could make life slightly annoying. * It's on a proprietary three-pin plug so if you want to run the display ... MorePros: This display misses several of the common issues I have with displays: * The ports are facing downwards, so it can be wall-mounted closely without crushing the cables, * The VESA mount is a 100x100 that is not recessed into the display - my U28E590D had to have a spacer because the bottom of the display stuck out past the VESA mount. * Supports 4K60 over both the DP and one HDMI port * This display runs on 19VDC 3.10A; the included adapter is a little bulky and is in a 'wall-wart style'. It can be set to be on or off while the display is running, but will always flash in standby.

I bought this product yesterday and I am a little disappointed. If I can nitpick considering the price tag I would have thought, more thought, would have been put into two things; - The stand is very high. You can always make a short stand taller by placing books underneath but you can't make a tall stand shorter... - The viewing angle is front-on only. This means that if you roll your chair to the left/right the colour diminishes quite considerably. I had an IPS monitor for 2yrs and the colour was perfect from every aspect and I miss it. All in all, this is the best 32in monitor I have found in the last 2months. I have had no issues with input lag. Be sure to use the 4k HDMI cable in the correct port!

Does exactly what it needs to. The quality is clear, the screen is colour accurate, which is very useful for me since I needed a larger monitor for digital art. Only real issues is that the stand is quite short, sitting ~10 cm above a surface, and the monitor itself is only articulated to move up and down. Fine for my uses, but if you need more than that you'll have to find a different stand. Its also a little funny with receiving an input signal from a computer, and usually requires some combination of restarts or input changes on either the computer or monitor, though this might just be a QLED monitor issue. Otherwise, it does its job well.

I am using my new monitor for the second day and I am experiencing the black screen issue mentioned in an earlier review. I don't expect that it should need to go to a service centre after 2 days work and will be speaking to the store/Samsung about the matter. We also bought another one yesterday which is on order sadly I am so regretting it. I wished that we had waited a week to see how this one performed. We usually purchase HP monitors and never had an issue over the past 15 years but this was the first time I have ventured to Samsung but it is looking like the last. This is far too much money for a monitor that has issues on the second day! Very disappointed.
This is my first ever 4k monitor, so easy to set up and was absolutely blown away by how nice everything looked at a higher res. Has a slight yellow tint but it's much less harsh than any other screen I've had. Can be wall mounted. Good for price too.
I was looking for an budget 4k monitor for gaming on my ps4 pro, my game of choice is assertto corsa competizione. The monitor is spot on. Clear picture with great graphics, important for high speed driving games and the 32" is just the right size. The monitor has easy to use controls for adjustment and its a great looking bit of kit. Im a bit of a fussy when it comes to what I use for racing and this does not dissapoint! I had to call samsung support due to my lack of tech knowledge and they had me up and running in no time, great service. Thanks Raymart I would recommend this monitor to any gamer, not just because of the value for money, but because it is a really good product. Better by far than expected. Get a samsung I say and hit every apex.
32" 4K Monitor can't handle content well, but screen just goes blank. I have latest HDMI cable and monitor driver, and i can't really use it effectively. I also have Samsung 34" curved monitor, and neither of these monitors can change the video input automatically even the settings are correct. Only way to change the input source is doing it manually using the jog dial. Just so frustrating that basic things do not work. I raised the case to Samsung a year ago, but of course nothing happened. Stay away from this crappy monitors.
Had it for about a year and have never had so much a hiccup or malfunction. The screen display is gorgeous, really nice blacks and vibrant colours and overall a fantastic monitor for gaming and work (32 inch makes having 4 windows going at the same time pretty practical, actually). It also has an eye saver mode which is a nice addition. I do have a couple qualms though. I run a pretty tech intense day on it between the PS4 Pro, PC and Chromecast ultra, all 4k 60hz capable devices. While they all work great, there is only one HDMI at the back that supports 4k 60hz while the other only supports 4k 30hz (haven't got around to using the displayport as I don't have the adapter/cable). This wouldn't be an issue if the HDMI ports at the back were a little more accessible ... MoreHad it for about a year and have never had so much a hiccup or malfunction. This wouldn't be an issue if the HDMI ports at the back were a little more accessible but having to reach around right to the middle of the back to switch between devices got old pretty quick. My other issue is the design, which is a little chunky compared to other monitors you see in a similar price bracket. The bezels aren't ugly but they certainly aren't slim and the stand takes up a surprising amount of space on the desk, especially because the stand extends backwards about 13cm so it won't sit flush against the back of a desk. The stand, in total, is about 25cm from front to back (it also has a nice, built-in clip on it for cable management). If I were back in the store looking at monitors, I would look to maybe spend the extra buck and get something a bit more sleek but I certainly wouldn't look past Samsung. The low latency, high resolution performance of this monitor outshines any of the minor faults by far and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a large, good looking monitor for gaming and work.
There is a lot to like about this monitor. But sorry it doesn't appear that 10 bit color or Freesync are supported by my AMD 5700 graphics card. Why, I have no idea. Both the graphics card and the monitor claim to support 10 bit but after days of trying to configure this over the last year, I can't see any way to turn on either the 10 bit color or AMD freesync. Seems like the monitor isn't telling the graphics card its correct capabilities.
I bought this monitor two moths ago for my home office, for my Windows 10 PC for my "for photo, video and graphics applications" convinced by the high quality advertised by Samsung " A billion colour shades, Supporting a billion shades of colour, the UJ59 delivers incredibly vivid and realistic images. Its accuracy means colours appear more natural and true to life,* making the UJ59 useful for photo, video and graphics applications". Problem: Unfortunately I get periodically a very annoying "black screen", which does not go away until I go to task manager on windows. I updated the NVIDIA Graphic drivers, I tried to reduce the resolution which allows yo to go from a refresh rate of 30 fps (native) to 60 fps, but the situation remained the same . Further, the viewing angle of 178/178 is questionable. 4GTG? and only "30 fps" on native resolution, 270cd/m2 Brightness?. I am not convinced and disappointed. I need something good and reliable for my work. I am not a gamer. I had to resort back to my old Kogan KALED27MONB is superior in refresh rate and muc, lower resulution, but much better wiving angle, perfect brightness and most imploringly no more periodically work disruptive "Black Screens", which points to this specific Samsung monitor and not to my desktop system.
