Nearly all the writing has been scratched, rubbed, smashed or bashed off the plastic - but I believe that was just a sticker lol. The adapter and the external craftsmanship or dampening or both - along with the insane durability and reliability of Samsung's Flash Memory division. Says a ton, especially considering the speeds of their NVMe blades today, and how well this little sliver has held up nearly a decade and through three MacBook Pros. I had the 2012 15" when I bought it, got the 2015 15" and waited til now to pick up the M series build - and I consider those computers (the first two, and this one ROCKS!) to have seriously held up their end of the bargain, with the 2012 still working well, and the 2015 picked me up almost a thousand towards the new M2 16"!But they've all been outlasted by this venerable little piece of plastic holding 20,000 tracks, beds and other audio effects and pieces with a couple dozen GBs to spare.I believe the same manufacturer is responsible for the speed of my new machine as well, as through the grapevine word flows - and it's reading at 6,640Mb/s and writing @ 6,980Mb/s! I've been both jobs blow through the 7Gb/s rate but the consistency is phenomenal.I'd never consider another manufacturer for my 'everything', literally. From pics and vids to meetings, contacts calendars, backups and media - I know I'm safe with my local backups being on Sammy drives; thumb drives, SD - NVMe or my microSDXC 128GB for years with confidence. I'll consider nothing else and recently purchased the T-7 2TB external Thunderbolt ¾ USB-C external and it's amazing! For scratch audio and video and cache files, there's zero latency and an awesome way to save the internal SSD with leftover duff A/V odds and sods6 out of 5 stars!Keep up the excellent work Samsung!

It bequeaths upon the discerning user a veritable digital amphitheater, wherein a prodigious profusion of multimedia, documents, and sundry data artifacts can be comfortably ensconced. The SD card's efficacy is not confined solely to its capacious confines but extends to its illustrious transmission velocity. Its peerless data transfer rates, underpinned by the august standards of the UHS-I classification, usher in the era of high-speed data interchanges. Such alacrity facilitates the rapid movement of data betwixt devices, thereby rendering it an instrumental tool for data-intensive undertakings, be they the burly cadence of high-definition video capture or the intricate choreography of intricate data migration. It is incumbent to draw attention to the SD card's format compatibility, for herein lies a fount of prodigious significance. This particular SD card, resplendent in its 128GB magnitude, accords compatibility with a diverse array of devices, ranging from contemporary digital cameras, camcorders, and handheld gaming consoles to computing devices and multimedia players of varying stripes. The commendable ubiquity of this format engenders versatility, a quality that is of pronounced utility within our multifaceted digital milieu. Moreover, the SD card, in its innate perspicacity, is mindful of the exigencies of durability. Its robust construction and innate fortitude render it impervious to the capricious vicissitudes of environmental rigors, be they the aqueous perils of submersion or the adversarial temperatures of extreme climes. This augments the card's longevity and underscores its worth as a repository of cherished digital artifacts.Yet, in the spirit of comprehensive elucidation, we must perforce acknowledge certain potential limitations. The eminent emphasis on capacity does not necessarily entail an accompanying measure of velocity. While this SD card boasts commendable speed characteristics, users with the most exacting prerequisites for rapid data transfer may find recourse to even swifter alternatives within the SD card taxonomy. Additionally, the profligate capacity may, for some users, become the Sisyphean bane of data organization, necessitating meticulous curation to forestall digital entropy. In the final analysis, the 128GB Secure Digital card stands as a monumental testament to the zenith of contemporary flash memory technology. Its copious storage expanse, nimble data transmission acumen, wide-ranging format compatibility, and inherent resilience render it a paragon of digital storage, encapsulating the quintessence of cutting-edge memory innovation. For the discerning user with a predilection for amassing prodigious data quantities, this SD card is nothing short of a digital panacea, a receptacle for both necessity and caprice within our kaleidoscopic digital cosmos.

Was able to purchase it on sale, plus I had a BB reward certificate to use or loose. Very cost effective with both of those savings.Purchased this Samsung 256gb and used the included adapter card to copy my data from the older laptop onto the card. That backup took about 2.5 hours for approximately 85gb of data, 60k files, 5.5k folders. Then inserted the microSD into the G14 to copy my files to the new laptop, that took much less time, but still longer than I expected. Time will tell how long it will last, but it does come with a 10 year limited warranty. For my intended purpose, this Samsung 256 MicroSD PRO Plus preforms just fine. One final comment, this MicroSD included a microSD to SD adapter. There is another package of the same MicroSD card, but it includes a microSD to USB-A adapter. In hindsight, I would have rather have that adapter since I already have many of the other SD adapters..

After snagging the Samsung Pro Plus 512GB microSDXC Memory Card, I've been thoroughly impressed by its performance and here's why you might want to consider it too, especially if you're big into capturing high-res photos or 4K videos. First off, let's talk about capacity and speed—two of the biggest selling points. The 512GB of storage is a beast for storage capacity, letting you store everything from thousands of high resolution photos to several hours of 4K video without sweating about running out of space. And with read speeds of up to 160MB/s and write speeds of up to 120MB/s, this card handles high-res data like a champ, making it perfect for photography and videography enthusiasts who hate lag. And with read speeds of up to 160MB/s and write speeds of up to 120MB/s, this card handles high-res data like a champ, making it perfect for photography and videography enthusiasts who hate lag. One standout feature that’s particularly noteworthy is the card's durability. Samsung claims it’s waterproof, temperature proof, X ray proof, and magnet proof. From my experience, this isn't just marketing fluff. I’ve used it in different climates and even during some rough treks, and it’s held up amazingly well, keeping my data safe despite the conditions. Now, let's talk value. Priced at $44.99 after a $15 discount from the original price, this card offers great bang for your buck, considering the robust build and top notch performance. When comparing it with other brands that offer similar specs, Samsung consistently ranks at or near the top for reliability and speed, which many tech blogs and user reviews across various platforms also corroborate. In conclusion, if you’re in the market for a reliable, high capacity microSD card that won’t let you down, whether you’re a professional photographer or just someone who likes to shoot a lot of video on your smartphone, the Samsung Pro Plus 512GB is a solid choice. Its combination of speed, capacity, and durability, paired with a competitive price point, makes it a standout option in the crowded storage market.

[Rewarded Review] Samsung Pro Plus 512Gb is perfect
2 February 2024

I love this Samsung microSD card. It performs very well for my need. I use it as the second staorage for my smartphone in daily use. In addition to provide me extra memory spaces for taking photos, I can download video files online for my personal view. It is very important because I would like to save those files for later reviews. Another good advantage of this order also including a full-size SD adapter so that I can put the microSD card in it and bring it to my labtop or desktop computer to do file management use. The 512GB size is perfect and I have plenty of room to save files. This compact size card is great and I wouldn't mind to purchase additional pieces as spare in case I need it.
