I've had these buds since they were released and I'm disappointed they don't get the love they deserve. I've had several styles of earbuds (noise canceling and open ear style) and these are by far my favorite, allow let me count the ways:1. Easy, comfortable fit- I have smaller inner ears and most traditional earbuds either won't stay in my ears or become painful after 30 minutes of use. (AirPods 1 & 2) These stay in my ear easily and don't create pressure points in my ear, but primarily, because they don't use stems that press on my outer ear. I also love that the case is small and will fit in the change pocket of my jeans on casual Fridays.3. Battery Life- With the "noise canceling" off, I easily get 5 and a half hours on a charge. (2 years after purchase) and the case allows me 3 to 4 charges before needing to be slapped on a charger. Combined with the wireless charging ability that comes standard (SMH at Apple) and there's no need to worry about getting through a normal day.3. Sound quality- The out-of-the-box sound quality is fantastic, which is great since the Wear app leaves much to be desired. They're really isn't any customization other than choosing "noise canceling" off or on. The thing that impressed me the most was the depth and quality of the bass, especially for buds that aren't truly noise-canceling. I listen to a lot of podcasts and pop music but when one of my old school hip hop songs comes up there is a surprising amount of oomph in the low end. I would consider the AirPods 1 and 2's the closest competitors in both price and sound quality and the Live Buds beats the Gen 1's hands down. The Gen 2's are on equal footing in bass and overall sound quality, but I still prefer the mids and higher end in the Live's mix.I've pointed out my favorite things about these buds so let's be fair and point out the less-than-stellar parts.1. Claimed "Noise Canceling" - there is none. Sure, I can hear a slight difference but not enough that I would have put it in the product description. Why even bother with that feature? True noise-canceling needs you to seal the ear canal in order to get the effect and these are designed expressly not to do that. So why claim it and create disappointment in customers when they go in with that expectation? I have no idea, but then again I don't sell millions of dollars worth of tech each year so I shouldn't sweat it.2. No customization of sound profile- As I stated earlier in my review, I really like the sound profile of these buds but it would be nice to be able to tweak the sound to meet a person's prefered listening style. Especially for what I paid for these back when they came out. Granted, the primary competition doesn't offer any customization either, but I would think that would be a nice one up the other guys.3. Not the best for working out- Now don't get me wrong, I'm not some workout warrior that's testing the limits of IPX ratings. I'm more the guy who is sometimes runs after his dog when she bolts after a squirrel. In those cases, let's just say it's a blessing that you can use the locate my buds feature. If you need to tie a shoelace, you're safe, but you may need to reposition them a little. I wouldn't recommend using them for more than a brisk walk.In summary, if you're looking for a good pair of buds that are comfortable for smaller ears, great sounding, and a value when compared with the competition (especially now that you can grab them for less than $100 on sale) then do yourself a favor and check these out.

Bought these on sale & after owning would pay the original retail price 3 years ago!! I was returning a pair of different buds by whoever, in earbuds and found these on clearance at the store so figured I'd try them! Believe it or not my fiance had a pair of these exact ones that she flushed them down the toilet with a pair of my cheaper earbuds about a year ago because she got so sick of me ignoring her cuz with my earbuds, I listen to music so much especially if she's on one, lol 🤣 That was a stupid mistake cuz these are awesome earbuds! I was going to buy a pair of expensive over the ear phones when I ended up buying these on a whim because I had the matching perfect phone for them! They are not Korean made, VIETNAMESE made but I'm not going to just assume I'll get Korean made items from Samsung so to be expected! These in my opinion have the perfect mix of airflow & sound waves coming through with sound waves being kept out along with (light) active noise canceling when needed and also a setting for the opposite of ANC, if needed! Perfect touch control & features! They have the perfect set of speakers to pickup your voice on video or calls very well too, they're so well made they even built them to recognize your jaw movements with the internal speaker & they also have in ear detectors so they know when to ring or phone rings! They have spacial audio Samsung version called 360 for movies, Thier adobe Atmos capable, they use Samsungs proprietary Bluetooth codec SSC, with good bitt rate & distance on par with the best codecs out... Also these just fit in your ears such a ODD, good looking & MADD comfortable way, idk what these south Korean designers be on but these Samsung engineers were on x 10 when they dropped these with the last Note! However, with some aftermarket silicone sleeves the fit can be better and noise cancellation increased. These are good quality starter buds. But I will warn you that once you get used to good quality Samsung sound you will want Samsung's higher-end offerings. I found the sound crisp and bass true with little to no distortion at midrange volume levels. With increased volume you will get some distortion but this can be minimized within the Samsung Sound app, which lets you customize your sound experience.Buds Live: A comfortable, quality value.

I found the sound crisp and bass true with little to no distortion at midrange volume levels. They are water resistant so if I happen to be washing dishes I can tap on one bud and it pauses or can skip a song with no issues with a little bit of water on them. The connection is amazing if I happen to walk away from my phone and go into a few different rooms while cleaning, my music isn't choppy! Strong connection and very long battery life. I love the find my buds feature if I happen to misplace one of them. Very strong product and they have dealt with work, play, and overall everyday abuse and still as strong as the day I bought them. The audio quality is still sharp and they're easy to clean with rubbing alcohol and q-tips. No paint chips or color wear after a lot of use. I'd buy another set if these ...
