Now that I've had the s23 ultra for a few months I can honestly say this is the best phone I've ever had, it's big and I absolutely love that, it's beautiful, the screen is nothing short of amazing, And everything I do from taking pictures of my dog's to creating PDF or office documents to ordering food or logging into my servers in different places to running group meetings with 15 people in them this phone just works. Streaming or downloading video to watch during my downtime, same again for music, keeping in touch with my family using Google meet. This is a phone that rarely gets used as a phone. This device keeps me organized, Entertained, in touch with family co-workers and the world. I could spend hours talking about what this device does for me. And love the fact it is running the latest version of Android which makes me feel safe and secure doing what I'm doing, and also allows me to run the apps and software I need.

I am upset about losing the earbud jack (since I use earbuds quite often and dislike airpods); however, the other few critiques I have are not true faults of the phone - such as where the buttons are placed (I was used to the old positioning), having a Grammarly keyboard, and losing the press-sensitive spot on the bottom for "home" - and I was able to adapt and use the phone effectively within a few days.I was able to customize the user interface to my liking so that it was more similar to my previous phone, and it was easy to transfer my data from my previous phone using Smart Switch. I was also happy to discover that the phone came with its own pen, which was fun to play around with, and eventually led to me developing a new art hobby.I'm not a phone or tech person. All I know is that I was apprehensive about getting a new phone and losing the familiarity I had with my old one, but the switch was surprisingly easy, and I'm happy with what I have today. I'm glad I decided on another Samsung because it's perfect for what I need.

Similarly, when updating your template, the options appear blank, requiring you to guess the buttons that, even when pressed, don't load. This AR Emoji issue even extends to Google Meet (Duo), where putting on AR Emoji masks doesn't properly follow your reactions or movements. It's worth noting that these AR Emoji issues are specific to this device, as I've checked on a Galaxy Z Fold2, and the issues are not present there. However, I'm confident that future updates will address these minor first-world issues.

This is my first Samsung and I despise how much Samsung is trying to brand it's own apps and even some of the software while piggybacking on Android. Whether for day-to-day tasks like swipe typing with great accuracy, or whether it is for artistic endeavors such as painting or drawing, or even for playing games that require more precision; the stylus (S pen) definitely provides a unique advantage. An added bonus is being able to capture a photo by using the button on the stylus for an easier group selfie option.So while the software might not have met my expectations, the hardware definitely exceeded them.Some of the software and hardware features that were not differences from previous device or notable in this one, include but are not limited to:- previous device had the option of pressing and holding the back button in Chrome browser to view list of tab's recent history to select from- previous device had Android call screening with an automated message to the caller to state reason for call prior to picking up- previous device had Moto Actions, where for example a chopping motion turns on flashlight while a wrist twisting motion turned on camera for quick capture- functions such as quick wallet access on this device are limited to Samsung Wallet instead of Google Wallet- on this device trying to push Samsung branded apps such as: browser, wallet, calculator, Bixby, app store (Galaxy), calendar, clock, even the phone and keyboard apps
