dont buy this cover it doent come with keyboard , it ia not as shown , the cover is not atable and you can buy third party covers with*keyboard* alot cheeper than thia one , i wish i dodnt buy it

Best in class

Nice case, better than the keyboard case (if you don't need a keyboard I don't). Whoever designed the stand section on the back must have a Masters Degree in Origami -- a wonder to behold

Hard wearing plastic but not great for outdoors

Its all super hard plastic, the corners look on web site to have different material for impact resistance, but its hard plastic which offers no extra protection over a standard case. The stand can't hold the Tablet up unless on hard flat surface. The plastic seem to be hard wearing. Was expecting a complex multi shot injection moulded case with a range of different plastic for extra protection, not a standard low cost case.

Not as well designed as previous versions

My last tablet and cover was a Galaxy Tab S7 plus, and, unfortunately, for me, this new cover is not as good, despite being more expensive. Firstly it is almost double the weight of the S7 plus cover. I weighed them both - 234g (8.25oz) v 424g (15oz). Secondly, although there is the capability to stand in portrait mode, the option of two different angles in landscape mode (the angle you'd watch streaming services etc) has vanished. Thirdly there is now a raised bump/protrusion where the stylus is stored (see photo), meaning the tablet can no longer lie flat with the cover on. Finally the front cover is a separate component to the back cover and is held by a thin magnetic strip about 5mm (0.2 in) wide, so it detaches itself far too easily from the tablet. The case is doing it's job very well & seems to be very sturdy

Unstable and not as useful as a keyboard cover

I received this bundled with a new tablet, and while I understand that Samsung tried to produce a lightweight cover for both landscape and portrait use, I think that they failed. The cover does not feel solid enough and could fall over, especially as you need to press against the tablet because there is no keyboard. It's overpriced IMO and not as useful as you might think. They're probably giving it away because no-one is paying money for it.
