Brought this Samsung entry lock from Bunnings 2 days ago. Removed my existing gainborough trilock and replaced it with this lock. Install took around 2-3 hours to fit. I had trouble trying to understand the process for registering the cards/fobs and entering the pin codes for each family member. So I rang Samsung tech dept and spoke to Marianne, who went out of her way to walk me through it on the phone and also sent me links to technical documents for future assistance. My only main issue is my existing lock was taller then the samsung and now I have two holes to hide somehow. Im going to fit 2 pieces of thin black metal plate on each side of the door to hide the holes. Apart from that little problem. The process was smooth. The install was pretty straight forward for someone who is reasonably handy. Didn’t need the manual. Just follow the great online instructional videos. They also have a hotline with technical support staff on call to help you if u get stuck. Pretty impressive service overall. The product does everything it’s designed to do. So far so good. Just be aware that the deadlock bolt is sensitive to obstructions. If anything gets in its line of path, it will jam up. Be careful if u have older home that have door / door frames that have settled and slightly crooked. But overall, a fantastic product. Love the new keyless living lifestyle

I purchased this unit for my new home. It was easy to install, it looks great and most of the functions work very well. I have two concerns. I live near the sea and the chrome surface is already showing signs of pitting after just a few months. I will need to keep a layer of CNN polish or rust prevention oil on the external surface. The other problem is the press button release on the inside. On mine it does not retract the bolt all of the way and therefore although the door can be opened, the electronic lock still thinks the door is locked and therefore the alarm sounds if the door is opened. I can avoid this problem by only using the manual turn handle to open the door from inside but it shouldn't be necessary. Had this four 3 1/2 years and it’s been fantastic. Not needing any keys to enter your home is a real winner. Has worked perfectly until recently when the touch pad has degraded. The good news here though is the company have replaced it under warranty and included a film cover for it to hopefully prevent this happening again. Working with Marianne was a pleasure.
I bought this lock for a beach house, that we will likely put on Airbnb. Love the fact you can put 70 different codes. I actually specifically went for a lock that is not connected to the internet. We installed the lock our selves, as my dad is pretty handy, so was very easy to install. I had some problems setting up the 'master code' and new codes, and I google some of the videos on how to set it up. Which were helpful, although I had to call the Helpdesk to help me, which they were super helpful, and reset my lock, to start again. Now its working, and I look forward to using it.

My 2 year old toddler pushes a easy to find button, a fun little noise sounds and the door unlocks. Can also easily use the thumb turner to open with great ease. It was extremely difficult to contain my son and get the issue sorted having to purchase and in door latch to stop my child from opening the door at his own free will and gaining access to the busy street. There is no over ride to keep the door locked, it is also difficult to open the door as their is no handle. Need to also purchase a handle to open the door.. I bought this lock a few years ago and it has been the best investment. Keyless entry with a keypad to manually enter pin code is a must. I have just decided to change the door on which the lock is fitted from a 35mm thick door to a 40mm thick solid door. All i needed to do is replace the tailpiece and we are back to the usual operation of the door. I highly recommend these digital door Locks for simplicity and ease of use./
I had this lock recently installed on our interior garage door, The authorised installers were very efficient and great to deal with. It was easy to install and great to use. It is very convenient for our school age kids to get in and out without using keys and easy to operate and programme. We had some teething issues initially with the settings but the phone support were brilliant and sorted out our issue with ease and were very efficient and friendly.
I've had thee of these locks - two were warranty replacements. Front cover will not last in the sun. The lock is exposed to a few hours of sunlight during the afternoon, under a patio. The touch pad surface will form cracks and become rough to touch. Eventually you won't be able to see the numbers light up during the day. After two warranty replacements the current one still has the same problem. Looking to get another lock now.

I will never go back to keys. The lock is easy to use, looks great and unlocks very quickly. The installation can be a bit tricky. Follow the instructions exactly and you will figure it out. It is important to make sure the deadbolt operates smoothly and with zero binding. If there is any binding in the deadbolt, the electric motor will struggle. This was a problem with my old door because the existing side bore and edge bore were poorly aligned.
