This fridge was purchased by me for someone on North Stradbroke Island. I spoke to her this morning (16/12) & she is still thrilled with it. "Now nothing goes off". Her previous fridge's seals were working in places, so a new fridge was urgent. She left the brand up to me to select & as I had had a Samsung fridge for some years & it worked very well, I chose a Samsung fridge for her. She didn't care whether it was a top or bottom mount one & as the bottom mount ones of a suitable size were not available til January, the decision was easy. With its 2 times humidity separate cooling systems she says her food is so much fresher. To put it in her words "I'm in love with my fridge".

Very unhappy with this product and the Samsung warranty. Do not buy it; the product is very noisy and makes very loud sounds every hour. After many complaints to Samsung, they do not want to make a refund. Their solution is to send a technician to first fix the problem even when the fridge is new. If the first visit doesn't work they sent a technician for a report. I got a replacement from them as they assured me that the unit will not make the same loud sounds as the first, but apparently, it is a problem with this model. After that Samsung does not want to make a refund as they indicate the problem does not meet the manufacturer's warranty because even with the noisy sounds the unit operates well.

My budget for a fridge was $900 and for that I wasn't expecting to be able to get this size and a Samsung at that for the price. This is an amazing fridge, it keeps everything so cold and fresh, it literally takes about 20 mins to start freezing a bottle of drink, which is amazing in summer. The storage space in both the fridge and freezer are really good very spacious and well thought out. The veggie cooler is a good size also. I have zero complaints about this product

This fridge is the best that I have ever owned. It keeps the refrigerator really cool in the bottom section where the dairy and fresh fruit and vegetables reside; the freezer freezes things really fast, and you feel the draft of the cooling fan as soon as you open the freezer door, then when unfrozen food is placed into the freezer it freezes exceptionally fast. The twin cooling is two separate controls for booth the upper freezer, which is extremely large for the size of the unit, and the lower fresh food compartment. I would highly recommend this brand of fridge too anyone who is in the market to purchase a new refrigerator.
I am very happy with my new fridge/freezer. There is a lot of space in the fridge section. The freezer space is limited with a shallow depth, but high spacing between the base of the freezer and the shelf, which is not adjustable. This means that you would either have to stack your items one on top of the other, or use a plastic container to 'file' your items sideways. The temperature settings are great. The drawer at the bottom of the fridge is full width and does not pull out smoothly. This makes is awkward to pull out totally for cleaning,etc.
Appearance is great. There are a different range in colour. The interior is great. The bottom shelf design is perfect. It gives your more space. Layout is great and enough for a a small family or business. It also comes with an ice maker unit that you can take out of the freezer compartment. Easy to remove but works well. Its size is also bigger for similar fridge products in this price range. Rather pay the $100 more for this fridge. I can recommend the fridge.
I bought this Samsung top mount fridge in Dec 2016. By 2019 the freezer didn’t work as a freezer anymore. Fridge was still ok. Come early 2022 and the fridge also stopped cooling properly. Milk going off, veges not keeping etc. Have used warranty to replace compressor. 2 days later freezer doesn’t make ice and fridge feels like it might be passable. Not sure how long I’ll be able to use it before needing a new one. Just know I won’t be buying Samsung if I do. “White goods” should last longer than 5/6 years! The earth could use a break instead of companies not making things to last just to make people have to purchase a new one earlier than we would have once had to. Don’t need the extra landfill! This is a great fridge. We are restricted with a space for a fridge due to a kitchen design. This is the best fridge for our width. Everything works well for our family of 4: shelves configuration, even tempreture, freezer design, ice container. Surprisingly it is big enough for a family with 2 teenagers. We had a previous model before (looks exactly the same) and it served us good for a long time. So it was no brainer to go with Samsung similar model. We haven't tried the feature of converting the frizer into a fridge, no need so far. Definetely recommend this fridge.
Very functional and overall, a very suitable refrigerator.Here are just a few little nigglies.*There is no "Door Open" alert. So we leave the door accidentally ajar and don't realize till we actually can see it.*A few tapping noises every now and then, but quiet overall*The power plug is not flat. Therefore, we are unable to sit it flush against the wall. Again, not a really big deal but you would think all refrigerators should have flat power plugs.

I chose this for it was the biggest I could fit, however a little dismayed as I cannot swap the door for left opening. It has plenty y room at the moment and will suit for a bit, well I hope at least 10 years. It runs rather quietly, and definitely freezes my items, especially ice cream to perfection, in which is extremely important in my view. The issue i had was in the delivery, it seriously lacked the Australian touch. Indeed it got delivered without a hitch, but that's where it ended and I was left to deal with something not expected. That the delivery did not include help beyond the door of the house, had to ask and was surprised at the driver as he was in asking him for help. I'm 59 years of age, with no trolley or any helpers. So I had to manoeuvre the huge fridge on my own, then try the arduous task of unwrapping it. A Nightmare indeed.
