The screen itself is fine although the colour/brightness took a bit of tweaking. The stand is pretty chunky, perhaps more than it needs to be. There is a reflective strip 1-2mm wide on the sides and top. The bottom frame is slightly reflective too. This can be pretty annoying/distracting if you have a window or source of light behind you. Why screen manufacturers think it's a good idea to put anything reflective around the screen is beyond me. The "auto source switch" option is deceptive. According to Samsung it only switches automatically when a cable is unplugged. I've had cheaper monitors where I can turn off one PC and the monitor will automatically switch to the next video source. I got this as an insurance replacement for an older Dell after it sustained water damage. The new Samsung appears better it almost every respect - particularly impressed by the narrow bezel and the height available on the monitor stand is quite good. It is a bit more wobbly and flimsy on the desk than the Dell it replaces which was an office grade model, so if you like banging your fists on the desk it might not be for you, but other than that - pleasantly surprised at how nice a monitor this is for what is very little cash.

Simple to install. Initially a bit contrasty but the rear mounted control toggle was easy to adjust both contrast and brightness to the levels we wanted. The adjustable height mount let us adjust to match the other screen for best viewing position.

Great product for entertainment and I use it as a second screen for study and work. I love the "eye saver mode" which automatically lower the brightness of the monitor. Hightly recommonded.

Adjustments great but headphone jack white noise

Build quality is very good, what I expected from Samsung. Adjustments are plenty. What bothers my most is the menu is on the back of the monitor and when the display is on the lowest height it is impossible to get to the settings without moving the monitor up and later down again. One thing I noticed is a lot of white noise/static when using the headphone jack built in. That's not a big issue since I normally plug it into the computer directly but good to know in case you want to.

Good monitor for the price

Bought this to serve double duty as a PC monitor and a TV via a cable box, so I needed two HDMI and a Display Port and this fit the bill perfectly. I also really wanted a fully adjustable stand with height and pivot (for MAME)...check and check. My old TV had an IPS display and the picture on this monitor looks basically the same, so that's good enough for me. Games seem to display fine as well... but I'm no hardcore gamer. I don't plan on using the USB ports, so I can't comment on that. My only real complaint is that the swivel is too tight... enough to move the stand somewhat.

Love these! Nice sharp picture. Lots of adjustability. Awesome price!! I have a dual monitor set-up so I bought 2 and am very happy with them. Can't beat the price! Came with all the cables I needed. My PC only had 1 HDMI port, but the monitors came with a DVI-to-HDMI cable, so I plugged one monitor into my HDMI port and the other into my DVI port.

I really like having the height adjustment along with the tilt adjustment. You don't have to prop the monitor up on books to level it out on an uneven desk to get the perfect viewing height. There are a couple of things that I don't like: 1) The power button doubles as a small joystick to make adjustments for the monitor. I don't mind this, but the location is inconvenient. It's on the back of the monitor on the lower right side, you can't see it at all. You have to know where it is to use it. So everything you see above shows you can rotate the monitor to switch between landscape (wide) and portrait (tall). Does not work on the 27" model. The height of the stand is too short. The corner of the monitor hits the base. Needs another 1-2" clearance. Easy setup, easy connect. Nothing terrible about a monitor in general. Just got it, more review/update later. One issue is that the monitor does not autosense which input is providing feed. So you'll need to set it appropriately as required. Mine was default to DP, but was trying to use HDMI. Stumped me for a good minute as I've not seen an non-autosensing monitor in a good long while. Finally, realized I had to set it manually and was up and running in no time. No dead pixels that we can see.
