Got the freestyle a few weeks ago. Sound is great for such a small unit, picture quality is good with the lights off. The most frustrating though is that the auto keystone feature (which was a key selling point for me) just doesn't work at all. I manually have to set up each time I want to watch something and the same goes for auto focus -- this function 'automatically' puts the picture out of focus! I've looked up how-tos and troubleshooting articles, tried cleaning the lens with microfibre, setting up on a flat surface pointed directly at the wall... but nothing has got the auto features to work. So if you're willing to do these things manually, it's a good little unit. But if you're looking for the ease of 'point and shoot' look elsewhere.

If youre on the fence about this one dont be its awesome. Great solution to having no tv in the house, works perfectly up against the blind or white wall amongst other pictures. Surprisingly doesnt need to be completely dark for the image to show- depends what watching of course but weve found the image to be consistently clear - we dont watch much during daylight though so that could be why. Also the sound is pretty great quality. Having all the apps in built is so handy so no laptop having to be attached and you can also travel with it! It is manually focused, meaning you have to physically move the projector to make the image bigger or smaller. We just have ours on the coffee table aimed at the wall and its great. It's smaller than I thought it would be, and it's amazing how such a little device can become a huge full functioning TV. It's app catalogue and Samsung TV Plus is great - coupled with an easy to use interface.The software can be a bit laggy if you power it on soon after plugging it in, but if you plug it in and wait 30 seconds before turning it on, it's fine.The speaker is a little bit underwhelming, but does provide pretty well-rounded, punchy sounds once put in Amplify mode. It's not as good as a decent Bluetooth speaker though.Overall - I love this product, I use it in bed casting to the roof, when I'm on the go with mates, and at family events. Pretty amazing how so much tech is packed into this little tiny, portable unit.

Easily masked at higher volume.Battery works well and gives you freedom to move around.Auto Keystone works fairly well IF you aim it with Samsung label to the bottom.Label up does not work reliably.The only missing feature is a USB input. That would have made it perfect.But I have connected a USB C iPad and it works great... AirPlay seems to shrink the image and can stutter - but might be my network ;)Sound is fairly good. Use some Bluetooth speakers and it is heaps better and stereo.Occasionally Bluetooth connects with no sound output. Unplug projector and it resets. Bug. Only lasers projectors and special expensive light rejecting screens could look better.For the price (on sale) I'm extremely impressed. Use if on white wall for background YouTube chill videos around 100+ inches so it adds atmosphere while working on Mac screen.

I would love to know how to play a video file from a portable storage device, do tghey expect everyone to stream now? If you like streaming media, dont play video from portable storage good internet is portable, you have a battery pack with at least 60w output which there are not many to choose and fewer that can go on a plane from and you dont mind paying extra for the brand itself then you may like this. I like the small remote but hate how it has alost as many buttons just for indiviaul streaming services which are so annoying to bump. With its very restrictive meda input capabilities marred further by no more google play which Kodi could circumvent this problem along with its obvious restictions only overcome by having the samsung phone to match. I think they have come along way in manipulating people how to use the products in order to extract more money. For this price I would have liked not to be sold something or pushed towards a streaming service every time i turn it on for this relativly expensive device compared to its competitors.

Been using this projector 2 weeks now it's great the pi ture is perfect for great colour clear loud speakers and I love the big screen size that I can make with it not losing any clarity. I can carry it in one hand try doing that with any size big screen television. It's like being at the movie. The price was minimal compared to a big TV and I can do a lot more with it compared against a big TV. I'm getting on for the kids room as well as they reckon it's the best graphics for all their games. I have a choice of thousands of apps there really doesn't seem to be anything that this mighty little projector can't do. IMHO I reckon that these projectors will be in more and more homes in the very near future in fact I think that they will be more projectors than TV's. No more wires everywhere I put mine with a samsung MX-ST40B small speaker via Bluetooth, another great products by Samsung l didn't really need to as the projectors 360 surround speakers are more than enough. But these speakers do a lot of things also and they are 160W unbelievable I can make.the house shake and I've never had them up to full volume yet. I got the extra speaker for when I watch a movie in the garden by projecting onto my fence. That's another thing being able to project onto my walls which aren't white they are cream and the kids have light green walls but the projector can adjust automatically for the colourans and also I can pick up the projector and move it,when I put it down it automatically adjusts the picture so it's perfect to watch. I will ne er go back to a cumbersome big TV. You would have to experience it for yourself to see how remarkable this little freestyle projector really is. All I can say is thank you SAMSUNG

We were beyond excited to finally set up the projector in our space and knew exactly where it would go and which wall our movies would be projected on.I am an artist and I have also been using this project it to trace images on my canvases.
