First cordless stick vacuum, and honestly dont think i can go back. So convenient and easy to use. It has a premium design and feel, and the soft brush head is smooth like butter. The mini motorised brush is clunky and inefficient, need to repeatedly go over spots. The soft brush is too soft and has no protection under the bristles, so if youre not careful your furniture will get scratched by the plastic. The crevice tool is pretty weak and gets blocked easily. And lastly, the flexible tool is very limiting. It should have 360 degree control, or even a short hose. Anything that would improve the manoeuvrability of this vacuum in handheld mode, please.Try this vacuum in a store if you can. I did and i liked it. Just comes with some problems that theyll hopefully fix in future models.

The Jet 90 vacuum cleaner was no exception. First of all, it performs its function - cleaning very well. The design is quite restrained, but very stylish - in the style of Samsung. The set of nozzles more than covers the needs. This portable vacuum cleaner is what you need both for quick cleaning and for more thorough cleaning. I definitely recommend this model to Samsung products in general.

With two dogs and two cockatiels providing enough weekly fur and feathers to stuff a mattress, replacing our vacuum cleaner came about after extensive reviews followed by lengthy in-store procrastination. Ultimately, I think we acquired the best machine for the money. Sleek and stylish, the Jet 90 is thankfully very efficient and the ability to wash the filter is a distinct bonus as is the excellent charging stand. So much better than hanging the vacuum off a wall. In retrospect, I wish we'd bought the discounted second battery at the time of sale as the run time is rather limited when the machine is used on maximum power. Overall, this is an absolutely top-notch stick vacuum.

I purchased this a few weeks ago, and it works amazingly on tiles and SOME carpets. However, it really struggles to get through the carpet we have. The carpets it struggles with is very, very low pile, and the vacuum struggles significantly when on mid suction. (It is very hard to push, and sounds like it will stop all together, which at times it has come up with the 'blocked' symbol and stopped suction all together) I have since worked out that it works somewhat better on low suction, but I really don't think that it is picking up the dirt in carpet as good as I would like. To our own surprise we landed on the Samsung VS90. We're glad we did. This vacuum is a joy to use as it is light and can be manoeuvred as we please. It's suction power is sufficient enough that we haven't used it on maximum power yet. That in turn lends itself to a great battery life - we live in a four bedroom house and we are able to vacuum the entire place on one charge. The charging station looks great too. The fact that it can stand by itself without having to be wall mounted is so convenient. Outstanding on hard floors. Low or medium power is fine and the battery is good so far. It works well on short commercial carpet, but for longer pile/mats, the suction is so good but the brush roller is quite shallow(short brushes) so the brush doesn't rotate properly. I have an old Bissell bolt that has less suction but longer brush bristles which seems to work better for picking up all the thick long hair from the carpet (3 girls in the house). Attachments are good, but i think the bendy arm bends the wrong way, since when trying to get under cupboards etc, it's upside down. Works for things up high, but not below (bends forward note back). Easy to clean and empty the canister.
Was looking to upgrade our stick vac as our previous one from another brand died. I looked at all types of brands - especially the most well known brand for stick vaccums but found the Samsung Jet to have better reviews and a better price point. Previously the stick vacuum was used for day to day cleans and our corded vacuum was used for a "proper" vacuum. That's no longer the case. The Samsung Jet is ridiculously powerful. We have tiles in most the area, and carpet in a few rooms. It has enough power and suction for it all. The included accessories have been awesome too. We no longer need the corded vacuum.

The process involved taking the head to a Samsung authorised technician. He then told me it had come off (no kidding), & I would need a new head. He ordered it and 6 weeks later, after 3 follow up calls, I finally received the replacement. This week, exactly the same thing occurred. I called Samsung but refused to drive 50km out of my way to the same incompetent technician when a simple fix would be a replacement head. After arguing this point, Samsung allowed me to send a picture of the fault & it would be assessed in house. Potential buyers I recommend that you try unit on the thickest carpet that is available in the shop showroom and watch the head slow and stall. The unit will work fine on most commerical "no pile" carpets as can be found in shop show rooms or cheap builders carpet but beyond that it will fail. The unit worked fine in the shop on the no pile carpet however when we got home and went to us it the motorised head stalled on our rug and on our bedroom carpet both of which have 6-8mm pile. We went back to showroom and they attempted various fixes to no avail.
