My biggest critique is the incorrect "assembly" size. For some reason, some bright technician swapped the location of the water drainage connector and water filter. The drainage connecter is not on the SIDE of the machine where it used to be at the back. Thereby, increasing the "assembled" width by an additional 5-6cm! As I result, I had to cut into my kitchen cabinets to allow enough space for the pipe. I shudder at the though of someone buying this machine, having limited space and RENTING. They would have to beg their landlord to cut into their cabinets, or fight forever with whoever they bought this from to take it back, all while having nowhere to put this. Overall a Good machine. Although there are 3 drawbacks with the DESIGN that need to be addressed: 1st, the Drain hose needs to be put on the back of the machine (not the side). 2nd, The Rinse cycle Temperature is set to the Wash temperature. So if you wash on Warm then your rinse will be Warm. This can only be overridden by changing from Warm to Cold once the machine starts washing to get a Cold rinse. This default Temp setting will push your power bills up as you'll get a Warm rinse every time if you don't override. 3rd annoying feature, is that the door locks when filling. My old samsung didn't do this & I was able to add more cloths & detergent & rinse my hands while filling....Please Samsung listen to your consumers & Make your machines more user friendly...

I just bought this machine and it was expensive. Wish I didn't. This thing runs extremely slow. The clothes barely moves clothes does not rotate, so it stays exactly like you placed it at the beginning. Meaning the clothes on top and in the middle does not even move.So I can't see how it is getting cleaned. I could just place my washing in a bucket and slightly shake it. Hopefully I can return it and get another brand that actually cleans the clothes. Booklet basically tells you to wash your clothes before you put it in this machine. I don't see why ppl say Samsung is the best... Must be a brand thing.

I got my washing machine today and did 1 small load to test. I like the magic dispenser. I like the rear controls so children can't fiddle with it. The VERY QUIET operation is just brilliant. Clothes came out absolutely clean and smelling fresh. I like the permanent filter. I like the clear window so you can see what's going on inside. Drawbacks: the drab grey colour is revolting. Seemed to use too much water in the rinse cycle. The drain pipe comes out the side. Takes too long to complete a cycle, especially small loads. Easy closing lid still slams shut.
Got the machine for a few weeks now, so far so good. Was able to wash a donna with pretty good results. Functions are easy navigate and use. Not sure about the softener dispenser, there is some left over after every wash, so not sure what is happening there. Noise level is pretty low, but our laundry room is outside, so doesn't really bother us. I like the lint collector, no more lint on clothes. Delivery and installation service was excellent as usual from Appliances Online.
Check the two lint filters after a wash, I didn’t for two weeks and should have - unreal better than my dryer which I don’t use anymore. Coming from an expensive front loader to a top loader again I’m really happy. It even pings a little tiny non annoying or jarring reminder if you forget to get the washing out (me a lot). Great value for money and oh so quiet, wish I’d changed machines earlier. Can’t believe how every efficient and water efficient top loaders have become as well. And no more mouldy front loader door seals to worry about.

Did my first washing today and I'm not too impressed although its easy to figure out how to useand different cycles to choose from, many options. But it comes down یا to if the product is doing its job. As soo we started opening the packeging we were in for surprises, the back of the washing machine has a major dent top to bottom, must have happened before packing the product but theu ignored it. Cones u der manufacturing fault. I did a complete video of it to present to them. The tub does not have pulsaters for wobble technology that is clearly mentioned in product features. Disappointing. You would think it should not leak like that unless the water starts coming through taking the detergent onto clothes. I chose Super Clean Cycle. You can see through the transparent lid it only wobbles the cloth left right while cloths are detergent and water soaked. Then onto spin, not impressive at all. Does not spin fast enough so the clothes felt too wet for the 10 minute spin. I did an extra 9 minute spin but not much difference. I would like the team to contact me for the damaged product delivery.
I'm still getting used to the various cycles and what the Samsung Washer can do! The water saving cycle on the Washer is exclusive that is you can't save water in conjunction with another cycle. The water saving cycle only fills your machine up with water so high.. no matter how much laundry you've piled in - it doesn't reduce how many times each process (wash or rinse) takes. Given that, I can see that you can select the number of minutes to wash or rinse, so I guess that's a workaround to saving water. I don't like where the drain pipe is situated - at the bottom, on the right side of the machine, this also seems impractical - to me.. as I like to save my grey water for other uses. We got this machine in June 2022 from Game and its terrible. We had a smaller older Samsung machine that worked like a dream. This machine takes about 3 to 5min just to get the water in and start a cycle. We recently tracked the time it takes to complete a cycle; it said it would take about 50min, but it actually took 2.5hours to complete the cycle. With loadshedding in South Africa, we do not have the luxury of time. I just want my money back at this stage so that I can find something EFFICIENT.
After the delivery of my washer, I read through the manual and find that I need to clean the water mesh filter three times a month and the pump filter once a month for peak performance of the machine. As an elderly 69 year old lady this is impossible for me to do as I would require to move out the heavy 9KG capacity machine to have access to these filters located at the back of the washer, failing which would affect the efficient performance of the washer and might vlid my warranty. The locations of these of these filters are impossible to access for any lady unless they are very strong and able to move heavy weights. I previously owned a SAMSUNG washer without these maintenance requirements other than the tub and filter cleaning.
