It's great having a very wide angle lens, and it is solidly built, the manual side isn't too much if problem. Have found some flare on sunrises.

I have Fuji's 18mm (and 16-50mm) for wide stuff so the 10-24, 14 and the Zeiss Touit 12mm were all considered for wider stuff. This Samyang is a stellar performer and kicks the 18's butt although the latter is not one of Fuji's best.Build is excellent and the resistance of the dials is very well judged. The lens-hood clicks securely in to place and is quite large due to the lens's tuba-like flared shape at the front element.After researching this lens, I can confirm that the focus distance markings are a little inaccurate and some experimenting will be needed to get to know the best settings. A must have wide angle lens. Totally worth the price.
very on my x-pro1 and also on x-pro2 on x-pro1 there is little changes in final colour in picture according to the different aperture, I dont know why but it is like this. It is no problem for me, on f2 picture is more green on upper aperture colour are more realistic. anyway 12mm is very good for a lot of things like inddor, huge outdoor nature, some object close to this lens is very good with all surroundings, I am very happy with this samyang.
