The Samyang Optics 50mm T1.3 AS UMC CS is a standard angle manual focus cine lens for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensor sizes. With a significantly bright T1.3 aperture, the lens creates bright and trustworthy images under restrictive lighting conditions and impressive bokeh even with mirrorless cameras. It is a multi-purpose lens, especially including portraits. The lens allows more delicate video work with T number marks. The focus gear ring is installed for follow focus system. You may change the aperture quietly and smoothly with the uncoupled aperture gear rings. Also, distance scale and T numbers is marked on both sides of the lens for convenience. The Samyang 50mm T1.3 AS UMC CS has a significantly low T number (T1.3). You can precisely control the lens when shooting under various exposure environments including relatively dark situations. This lens features 9 glasses in 7 groups including 2 glass aspherical lenses (ASP) to offer high resolution throughout the image. The Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) of Samyang Optics is used to optimise the light penetration and minimise flare and ghost. There are 9 aperture blades designed to be almost a full circle when the aperture is closed, which expresses starlike ray clearly and beautifully. The solid frame of the lens is made of high-strength aluminium alloy so you can create trustworthy images. This compact and light-weighted lens is specially designed for mirrorless cameras for portability. Also, the detachable petal-shaped lens hood minimises flare and ghost by sheltering lens from unnecessary light.
